  1. What jackhattery. I watched that video...one says she is all of level thirteen and put in a whole 15 hours.....yeah I guess she would think it was slow. Another 'reviewer' could care less about the story and just wanted to 'do stuff' Then get off the MMO and go play your pew pew FPS. Now I am not a rah rah guy for SWTOR, but if you are trying to prove how lame the game is because of that video you are simply an idiot. Go play your FPS ya troll.
  2. We had two interrupts also, but failed. Maybe its a LTP situation. Maybe the interruptors failed to coordinate. Bottom line is that we failed and I am certain others failed as well. As to the combat medic having no problems..... who were your teammates? Our problem came in because we had two gunny's and only two interrupts...three would have done it. Knowing that you need to interrupt and having a choice between a DPS that can interrupt and one that cannot interrupt...who would be chosen? As I said, I am fine with BW taking away a stun, knockback, or CC if they would give us an interrupt...and this is because those skills are useless in attacking HM elites. This is a problem for the DPS Commando at 50 on HM FP OPS PVE. Don't want it for PVP as it is not a problem there.
  3. I am a PVE specc'd gunny at level 50. HM groups are hard to come by as a pug on our server or from our guild at the moment. I am geared out as far as I can be with daily heroic loot. So the path to the best available gear for me is probably PVP. I am a newb to PVP. I know I will need to respec, but will want to stay gunny. I know little about the SWTOR PVP system, but am reading up on it. Tried an Illum PVP group the other day and my frame rate was so bad it was unplayable. What would you do to attain good PVP gear the quickest? Can you get decent gear doing WZ?
  4. Never needed or wanted an interrupt until I did a HM with 2 Commando DPS. We had two who were able to interrupt the end boss, but it was not enough for us. I felt useless. If I were to put together a HM FP I would never want more than one commando dps, and no commando dps if there is a combat medic in group. To make things easier I would simply ignore any dps class that had no interrupt. So take away a stun...a knockback...or a CC and give us an interrupt (ranged or melee) if you want us to be useful in HM PVE. You could also add crafted interrupt grenades only useable by classes without interrupts in HM FP and OPS. These could have timers slightly longer than other classes castable interrupts. That would help us and crafters. EDIT As it is my beloved gunny will probably become a farming alt as I build a viable PVE endgame toon.
  5. I am a SWTOR fan. I love the game. I leveled to 50 fairly quickly. It was not because I was in a rush to get to end-game, but because I very much wanted to see what was next in the story line of both my character and the planets. I did not play the spacebar game. And I very much enjoyed myself. Now the story has played out for my character and the planets. I am playing alts to view their stories as well. But I am attached to my main character, and I pay primary attention to him. So now it is all about MMO gameplay and no longer story for my main character. It is here that SWTOR starts to show its lack of depth. Issues: Not enough people on Keller Void to easily group with for FP, much less OP. Best available gear to prep for HM FP or OP to be found through PVP..for PVE play As a non-PVP player I am trying to get into the fray only to find 1 FPS on Ilum. Could use some more Daily Heroic variety, and more daily commendation reward available. What was the point of crafting really? Why are the few good craftable items BOP? I want more story..character and planet. Now I can wait for these issues to be resolved. I have faith in BW to build great things for this game. I am also worried that there will be too much attrition from other players who do not have the patience to wait causing economic difficulties making it impossible for SWTOR to continue. I know it has all been said before, but I needed to get it off my chest. Flame away.

  7. More customizable UI...yes. More game tools in UI...yes. Macros...no Outside plugins....no Keep the playing field even.
  8. I am not a PVP type of guy, and I can see this being a huge issue. It effectively makes a world unplayable for one faction on a PVP server. Several suggestions made good constructive sense. I would also like BW to think outside the box and come up with some innovative measures to account for unbalanced play. Unbalanced factions will always happen, and when one faction is seen as owning another faction it will only get stronger. So mechanics must account for this. Not being a programer I cannot tell you what is possible, but I will make a suggestion anyway. Could there be a base multiplier applied to the smaller faction based on the current imbalance when fighting other players...not NPCs? So if Empire is up by 25 players Republic players HP and damage would increase by 2.5 or some worked out figure? Maybe the smaller faction could simply be given an extra PVP only shield of strength ratio to population? Hell, BW has smarter game designers than I could ever hope to be....if they try hard, and not rely on past game designs, they can fix the situation.
  9. Good post. Felt the same. Did not understand why you would put an all seeing species in as a neutral planet if you wanted to do espionage and then realized it was all hack and slash.

  11. Timing jumps has always been a problem for me in both offline and online games. I wish I could blame the lag, but the truth is that I just suck at it. That said, I wish the access of datacrons was more of a thinking riddle/exploring game with clues to their existence being given every now and then. This would be more fun for me. Maybe I will pay my son to do the jumping for me.
  12. My Agent will be body type 4. I also wanted a normal 2.5. It wasn't there so went with a 3.
