  1. My list 1. I do agree with the new combat style but it would have to make sense and what you give to 1 category Force User or Tech you would have to give something else to the other category as well so you are look at 2 combat styles needing to be added so you dont get an outcry from the other batch of players that feel like they got jipped out. So tech based melee like sword/double blade vibrosword wielder could be a thing or hybrid tech/force user. For force user technically i would say a alchemist or beast tamer would be the direct i would go with that. then since you dont have to create the mirrors anymore all you have to do is create the specs for them. 2. new planets introduced and return to some other planets (no more voss for awhile). For new planets i would say Kaysheek, Felusia, Mandalore (depending on where the story is going to with that), some more lore oriented planets with the Jedi and Sith as they are rebuilding their ranks and recovering lore and lost knowledge. For returning planets would like to see Alderaan, Oricon, Ilum, Tatooine, Nar Shadaa, the other 2 starter planets since we getting Hutta and already got Ord Mantel. 3. Crafting fixed and increased. Of course crafting needs improved a lot of which is would say if they are not planning on a stat squish which is looking like it needs to happen soon they need to increase the numbers for beneficial stats. but medpacs if like said are not planning on a squish soon should be actually more percentage based. of course new augments, dyes and crystals but also make crafting feel worthwhile at least for your alts outside of Biochem for your Operation character/s. 4. Color crystals where people are going to ask for more color crystals i am going a different route with it. Make color crystals more beneficial again like they were in classic and are when you are leveling up. But make them maybe 1-2% stat increases +41s are not really even noticeable not that 1-2% is going to be very noticeable it would still be more significant going forward and that would at least scale based on your stats you have so that would not make it too overpowered while leveling but still a nice boost. 5. A cohesive story that is not jsut jumping back and forth between Republic vs Empire and the Mandalorian Civil War. If it is going to be a focus of the expansion like Legacy of the Sith should have dealt with more back lore and the Sith actually being more front and center rather than taking a backseat to Mandalorians that drives people crazy. Malgus i get what they are using him for using him as Anti-Villain since they killed off their Anti-Hero. But Malgus aint even the big bad yet we have yet to encounter whoever is being setup as the big bad going forward. Whether it being a surprise return of some1, Jadus, Acina/Vowrawn, or even Darth Nul (though i think Nul is being setup as means to an end basically almost like Malgus). 6. Something more than just daily planets which by a lot of people are considered just a lazy way of doing content though if you are going down that road Ossus was the best of the daily planets they have done it gave rewards allowed for progression with gearing and rewarded for content along with the Command/Renown system which was good probably the best of the gearing systems we actually have had. But they can keep aspects of the current gearing system too. But back to content there needs to be something to drive players to doing daily planets more than just decos and little conquest rewards. 7. in Kotet we had the bolster system which technically allowed 50-65s to raid with 70s except in Iokath and Queen. That was actually a bit nice for the fact of teaching new players or players that are still leveling up content as well for some guilds. I mean how the raid system worked in that was something outside of that we didnt really see except with the operations passes that were removed. Of course the Bolster system was not really perfect because it hurt some of the max levels that weren't really highly geared or had gearing. so if the bolster system came back it would have to stop at 84 and not count for 85s. 8. Gearing needs to be more reward for your work rather than feel like it is just handed out. Max gear should be earned and worked for which helps incentivize keeping players around more. If they are just able to get max gear like in Onslaught in 1 1/2 day -3 days and not have it upgrade the entire expansion that causes a lot of people to burn out faster. Sorry if you are on the side that likes all players being able to access the same gear. It doesnt work that way for endgame players there needs to be incentives and rewards for working hard to get to that point. and of the mindset that not every1 should be in max gear PVE and PVP could have that case made for you. Solo/story/leveling players really do not need it technically if there are not doing repeatable storyline chapters of content which havent been since Kotet. LotS was trying to return to the old mindset of gearing while keeping the item rating gain mentality of onslaught. that is nice and all but i would also make it more challenging to gear rather than easier until you have 1 character max gear for that patch. 9. class ships or personal starship changes. Allow you to customize your class ship or build a new personal player flagship for travel going forward once you get into the new expansion a certain time. for customization basically its appearance weapons systems and stuff, color of the ship certain paintings or whatever. just making it feel more personalize feels like a further progression of the character and their storyline out of the 2 i would prefer actually a new ship and having to build it up.
  2. The issue with Thana is technically for the most part she is dead. I mean most of the storylines she gets a saber through her only lightside option and republic would probably only encounter her. While she had promise and would have been probably more well received than Malora i dont think she would be a companion in the traditional season. Honestly i could see them releasing cartel companions from the story and unlocking more companions through collections through completing achievements on a server would add to your collections could be a thing going forward. Revan, Marr, Malgus, Satele, Jace Malcolm, Hylo Visz, Thexan, Vaylin, Lord Dramath, Oteg. Thana would be like bringing Scorpio, Vette/Torian, Koth, Theron back as a companion after they have been killed in story it would basically be for doing missions but really wouldnt affect any story content going forward. I really dont think they know what to do with Galactic Seasons at this point if they are not giving out companions they really don't know what to do. Copera while a step in direction away from companions was not all that impressive of a stronghold. its a nice change of pace but working hard to unlock is probably the least appealing stronghold we have gotten. I do like the Mediterranean look but dont think it fits the game to well for a stronghold. Figure its mostly a trial run to see what people like and what they dont.
  3. 4 is technically Makeb and 5 is technically Shadow of Revan. Not sure many people will want to play Makeb storyline it was not exactly stellar upon release and probably actually 1 of the worst storyline planets to date did give us Toborro's Courtyard but Makeb fell pretty hard and they havent done anything with it since. I could see Acts 1-3 and shadow of revan being replayable but makeb not so much. and i could see Onslaught and LotS becoming replayable if they went down that road but Makeb itself not so much. People consider Ilum as Act 4 it was just interlude and something that was more side content.

I cant really see them doing a name purge/cleanse anytime soon the only time we will see another 1 is if they merge all the servers together or if they introduce cross server play (which at this point cross server play may actually happen instead of merging the servers together could see cross server flashpoints, heroics, ops, pvp and potentially even guilds to be hoenst). While some things will have to change that would probably be the only way we will see a name purge going forward freeing up names but a lot of names will be added to the invalid list because like Steve said there is a lot of names that are technically against ToS because of being characters in other Star Wars media or in Swtor as well other content in general so a lot of names people want to run with will be blocked. There will be bigger outcry because names are no longer useable. I havent seen them purge a lot of names for ToS recently but people are getting more and more daring with some of the names they are running with.
  5. honestly i am surprised some more of the flashpoints havent been turned into strongholds there is some potential with the old flashpoints as well though the only flashpoint we got as a stronghold was Umbara and the only Raid we got as a stronghold was Ravagers (Rishi). Though Copera is close enough to being part of the flashpoint. Hammer Station Kuat foundry/maelstrom prison nathema could make the case for Esseles/Black Talon both actually even though we got flagships for guilds we dont really have ship strongholds for individuals other than if you want to count class ships which you cant decorate at all. others: Darvanis, Onderon, Oricon, Ilum, With the starter worlds becoming part of the storyline again we already got Ord Mantel about to Hutta, We are probably returning to Tython and Korriban soon once we go back to all of those i could see strongholds for 4 becoming available at once actually. I dont think they will release 1 without all 4 because of the outcry that 1 or 2 are getting treatment over the others. There a little bit of a outcry when Alderaan came out that we needed a darkside castle equalivent to it which we still havent gotten yet. As much as people dont want to admit it we are going to be getting more Mandalorian stuff and probably even going to Mandalore the planet at some point during the peek so i could see that becoming a stronghold for Mandalorian characters.

Its almost certain we will be getting more goin forward. even for holiday events and stuff. the first batch seemed to be the trial run now they seem to bringing out more of them a little at a time. i agree with metallic blue and metallic silver/gray (more like a metallic version of the 501st look) i think we will be getting them for halloween and christmas this yr as well which that would be metallic orange and black is for halloween and more probably metallic frost coloring for christmas or red/green (not saying that will be appealing though i think we will end up getting 1 for 4th of july as well too which would probably end up being red/blue with some white accents like how the St. Patrick's Day 1 is Gold/Green whichever 1 comes first i always forget the order on that 1. brown would look good with like a metallic green or matte black to it. metallic red/silver would look good too Metallic Purple/Metallic Black i know i said Metallic orange for Halloween but for those that want more a metallic worn or faded dye to show off they have been in numerous battles could do a Rust Dye Adding the metallic dyes for other events. Rakghoul even metallic Green/orange (a little different than the gold because it would be more orange than gold coloring), gree would be more digital metallic dye, nightlife more true purple/gold. no idea what you could do for pirate incursion. bounty hunter week could be interesting because there is several ways you could go for those. how about making the different metallic looks adding a Platinum dye color what about chrome/matte white I also think the metallic dyes are a interesting stepping ground for other kind of dyes going forward that we havent even thought about as well. Kinda like how DCUO has Chromas and the stuff they do with them is interesting at times. I dont think it will get that extreme on them but there are things Broadsword can do with them.

I havent been able to tell anything about it yet because I cannot access it at all with any of my characters quite a few of them have Lana as romance companion and yet still do not have access to date night. Don't have an alert, went to class ship to check, went to odessen, there is nothing that is show is no mission in tab. there is literally nothing showing.
  8. its not just that character but every character i romanced Lana with i can't access it so is there some trick to it or is just that bugged where it is not letting me.
  9. It says alliance alert for Date Night companion. I literally got no Alerts or CS triggers of any kind anywhere to trigger it with Lana. I broke it off Kira with my main and I did pursue Lana. Got nothing on that character or other characters that pursued her. So that a bug or just looking in the wrong place?

Well they do take a lot of what wow does and does similar things if we got classic servers it would not be for 5-6 yrs at earliest probably. as they are too busy working on live (can't really call it retail as its not really retail in their current model). I would still be for actually making all story replayable with different difficulties and giving actually more rewards for doing so. I played through back then and i was constantly hearing people back then it was not playable as the game didnt like high computers, that they made some fights where you had to have help at times for certain sections. People already have an issue doing EV, KP, EC so much in ops do you really think people can really live with those 3 raids alone maybe if they did Classic RotHC or Classic SoR instead of going to doing base classic. But yeah doing base Classic would be a bad idea for swtor in the terms of Operations.

Well it was quicker minus the fact when they did it they changed the alignment from 10k to 100k needed but it was that fast to build up points because heroics and other missions well everything really gain light or dark points. but they were suppose to be reworking it somehow my guess is it going pushed back to 8.0
  12. Thats actually something i have not actually heard being requested. Most of what is requested now from naga is a mount version of his meditation sphere or the ceremonial or actual swords of him and Ludo Kressh. But more Naga stuff would always be a welcome sight.
  13. remember when they announced we were getting Hoth as a Stronghold they also announced we were getting sound effect item modifications for weapons still havent gotten either and then we got alderaan as a Stronghold. But item modification sounds would be welcome some of the weapons could really use a boost from sound effects.
  14. set its based off Marrok the inquisitor not Baylon Skol. the saber is more Baylen but the armor is Marrok. the other armor is that of Thrawn's Lt. whatever his name is. but pretty sure some1 out there has been asking for it like they always do. and some of this is Disney actually flexing their rights on swtor content broadsword like bioware before them has no choice but to comply or the game will be shut down by disney itself. Its marketing purposes. Not saying i don't agree with you kinda wish they would bring in stuff from other content and stuff. Maybe Bane's clone war armor he wore as a sith spirit, the brother's and sister's armors, Ludo Kressh's, force hound armor, arcann's cybernetic arm, dooku's and sideous's lightsabers, the rest of nihilus's robes and his lightsaber, maybe more actual good cyberntic sets not the horrible 1s but the 1s that tried to go like grevious inspiration, naga and ludo's swords, marka's staff, darth krayt. nihil's armors and sabers.
  15. oricon - make it the darkside equal to alderaan. zakuul - its less likely but still has a chance of happening mandalore - if they ever end up releasing it foundry - felushia/kaysheek - either 1 of those would fit awesome but has to be brought in to the game first. kuat - while its not the best flashpoint it could be a interesting setting for a stronghold even 1 of the several chiss worlds now this is going to be intriguing because since Ahsoka reset the lore of dathomir making both the cultures and civilizations on dathomir and the other galaxy we could actually see dathomir as a stronghold going forward marketing for the shows/movies

Well technically it is not entirely true because Rise of the Hutt Cartel was suppose set up the Hutts as a threat to start taking territories over from both empire and republic but then we got Shadow of Revan and both Empire and Republic put aside their differences to stop Revan. So i would say Classic, Onslaught, Lots has been about Republic vs Empire. The rest of the game was to stop outside threats from threatening the war of Republic vs Empire.
  17. Actually there is a big bad that they can do somewhat on the tier of Abeloth in terms of power that has actually been briefly seen in restricted sense during classic. Sel Makor the force demon on Voss that had the power to even make Vitiate look like nothing more than untrained Acolyte. But to the other sentiment the Jedi Lords didnt start happening until after Darth Ruin who was about 1000-1300 yrs after the Old Republic era. Sith actually did have a little bit of a rise during the era we are heading into actually in a sense they are a bit stronger than the Jedi Order as we are approaching the time Satele dies the jedi council is not even reformed yet barely talked about this expansion. Would say if anything happens neither the Jedi or the Sith can stand up the threats of the galaxy after getting beat by the Revanites and Zakuul as well as each other they have not recovered from their losses but sith even though the new Dark Council is weaker than when it had Malgus and Marr on it its stronger than the Jedi are at this point. Plus the fact we are at some point going to know what is up with the red haired padawan/jedi knight that was in echoes of oblivion. If she is in fact someone else or what because they left that way open for a possible return. Then there is the fact they said they had eventual plans for Jadus but said he would not return immediately as their plans for him were bigger. Whatever is up with Darth Nul we are getting glimpses that Vitiate may not be as defeated as we thought he was at the same time. Which i felt like if they were really going to make Vitiate a threat we need a raid x3 harder than R4 with Vitiate to be in same with Malgus if that was their plans for that. Both should have been raids. But what they are hinting at with Malgus is more along the lines there is something darker at work in both the Empire and Republic governments pulling the strings that the only way to break free from the endless cycle is to align with Malgus. making Malgus actually the anti-villain in ways that is actually somewhat true to his character. No i dont see Vitiate actually returning but during the announcement of Onslaught the devs did say there are 3 that never truly die. Those 3 being Revan, Vitiate and Malgus. 2 of those actually have had their send offs bringing them back would kinda cheapen the story for the other. Bringing Revan back again would cheapen how he was sent off and Vitiate would cheapen Revan's sacrifice much in the same way Vadar's sacrifice against Sideous was. Malgus however is not killed off just yet and I do think he will be needed for something bigger brewing that hasnt even made itself known. As for the mandalorian civil war i have no problem with the concept of the war the issue is that it shouldnt be taking main stage in a what was suppose to be the next saga after Vitiate's defeats. Basically everything from the moment Naga Sadow was defeated up until Echoes of Oblivion was 1 whole saga. Even Shadow of Revan, Kotfe, Kotet was a technically a trilogy that fed off each other. We still really know very little about the civil war other than what's her face has a bone to pick with shae for joining the alliance and the mandalorians actually working with the republic and empire. so the question becomes is she ancestor Krieses (Bo Katan and her sister the duchess). and with that war there needs to be the planet of Mandalore actually making its appearance into the game which it hasnt yet. But I cant see whats her face having anything to do with Malgus or any other force user because she didn't want the Mandalorians to be in service or aligned with the Alliance (reformed as whatever), Zakuul, Republic or Sith Empire. There is also another force out there that is left forgot about since Rise, The Hutt Cartel. That expansion even though it was paid for was easily done in less time than LotS and only focused on the Hutts for Makeb. For something that was suppose to be the rise of a threat that could challenge both Republic and Empire the Hutts have played little to no part out of Oggorubb, Toborro, Karagga in swtor thus far. Then there is the whole retcons to the Dathomirians now because of Ahsoka saying the Nightsisters/brothers as a people are far older than what they are. Could also a small force of Vongs that arrived during Swtor era much in the same way i think Canderous talked about in Kotor 2 but not on the scale of what would be during Luke's post RotJ.

  20. marketing standpoint they can already do whatever they want with it. i mean technically the magic standpoint was based on old dark jedi magic that was slightly different than sith alchemy so technically the powers already exist in old republic the only thing would be more a marketing thing than being lore friendly. I am not saying i agree with them doing it but its a possibility of them doing it because of marketing of ahsoka and whatever future stuff they want to do with the dathomirians. You are right on the timeframe but marketing off other star wars media is a huge a thing that happens with swtor and that would be 1 thing they could do if they got gutsy.
  21. it was in 1 of the videos they were doing before 7.0 was delayed it was back in october or novemberish of that year. they talked about what their plans were beyond and dropped hints at new classes and 8.0 actually being the real expansion that this was more a mechanic and feature expansion trying to reinvent the game so to speak. can't remember which 1 it was but it was more a interview type stream than anything. But they let out a lot of plans then that people really didn't pay attention to because they were bicker about combat styles, ability pruning and other things. and yes i know that but they will probably do it like they do with all the other techblade user companions and allow them to have vibroswords just because they already have some of those available. not saying it makes sense from a standpoint of lore wise i am saying it will probably happen just because when they do they probably wont release any new tech blades/staves etc. So by default they will end up using them. I mean really when was the last time a techblade was even introduced back in Rise of the Hutt Cartel i think was the last i can remember.

I would say largely with Broadsword's track record of increasing money sales on in game items on the other 2 games they you have to assume they are going to massively have the dev team be adding any and everything they could make a pretty profit off of. So much to actually put pressure on Swtor team. Broadsword actually sunk money into buying the rights of swtor so you have to almost assume they are going to try to market as much of star wars nerdom they can get bring out anything and everything from legends to disney canon. Swtor still has free reigns to do almost whatever they want that era. just pushed by disney to market newer content here and there but Broadsword could literally force the dev team into stuff they may not have previously done in the past. so thats why i think thats possible. What happened in the past with Swtor and Bioware thats kinda out the window some stuff is going to continue obviously but profiteering is going to be very much in play for Broadsword.
  23. thats mostly where i stand with it if there is no basis for the species speaking or very few capable of speaking basic then there is almost a 0% chance we will ever get them as playable. other things that can be ruled out would be; Gree, Rakata, Ithorians, Hutts, Wookies, Rodians, Trandoshians, Toydarian, Genoshians probably could rule out the Gungans as well for that matter. Toydarians and Gungans are more for the fact they are no close enough to human form to be a species.
  24. Well any class that gets added is going to be a combat style not a origin storyline. Its kind of partly was hinted at why they never added any new classes to the game because they would have had to add the mirrors to them to the other faction plus 2 advanced classes and 3 specs a piece for that plus all the voice acting they just were not going to do that. In the new system it makes adding new classes actually much more viable and easier because everything is broke down into Force User light/dark or Tech User. With this system all they have to do is add a combat style to those categories they would want to add to the game and you bypass 80% of the production cost. It is not wow, dcuo or other games where they can afford to add new classes and stories for them. swtor is a different beast and how they initially set it up was a nightmare for adding classes. not impossible but we probably would have not gotten nearly as many raids or as much story for the other players not playing the new classes. Beast Tamer (able to tame wild beasts which we already got a taste of on Odessen to be honest), Sith Alchemist (able to call forth various darkside creatures like hssiss/Tu'kata/Terantetek/sith spawn as well create illusions and imbue their weapons with magic powers), Night sister/Night Brother (more magic based like the night sisters are like enhancing others and as well being somewhat a necromancer so somewhat a support/dps role not necessarily a healer but more support role), Dancer (probably be something along the lines of a bard almost pure support and or healer role would be how that would play out), They hinted at they were going to eventually bring in a hybrid force and tech user as well that would be interesting in what category that could fill. Also Tech users with the ability to use non-lightsaber bladed weapons.

I would say Chagarians (they are close to togrutas but a bit of a difference and several of their species has played a role in star wars mythos in the past), Devaronians (let's face its its only a matter of time before we get this race and surprisingly it wasnt added already at this point), Kel Dor (they could make the masks look a little different and some of the features outside but being able to Plo Kun's race would be huge), Kaleesh (this other than the Kel Dor are probably the most alien humanoids i could probably see adding because being able to play the Kaleesh makes since in both language and swtor standpoint), Anzat (basically force vamps now this would be my vote a interesting species to bring into the fold because of their racial abilities for force drain like Nihilus would make for interesting characters as well as cosmetically enough of a difference), Zeltrons, Duros (cad bane's species no need to say anything more), Weequay (hondo's species and there is several in swtor already as NPCs) could probably all be in as playable species goin forward. though i wouldnt rule things out from a marketing standpoint going forward depends on what Broadsword executives press Swtor staff for we could see species that were previously shotdown. Honestly I think we are going to get species at a much faster rate going forward to be honest instead of 1 maybe a expansion or so I think we will be getting them faster because of the amount Broadsword is going to want to market swtor for. They are going to want all the money they can get from the player base and species is a good way of doing that. I actually see the price of newer species going up to 1500-2400 coins though especially if they throw a few species at us that we are not expecting in the slightest.
