  1. if you need DPS on imp side...I'm available. Aggronoob - Annihilation Marauder (306)
  2. Hey, I'm a returning Marauder (Annihilation); looking for an OPS team. Message "Aggronoob" on the imp side if you get a chance, thanks.
  3. I don't want to do old content, I want to do new content, thats why I boosted this character. I left the game at level 65, came back for Onslaught. now I have the following on my mission terminal. Illum - First strike/ Makeb - Countdown to Doomsday Oricon - A path to madness what gives?
  4. Only gauge your numbers on actual fights. Dummy parses hold little to no value. I've seen sentinels that parse 3.6k on dummy struggle to keep up 3k in real fights due to having trouble with uptime/positioning/environmental awareness. For example, watchmen sentinels go full power mod/enhancements but the top parse is achieved by having a crit enhancement. Dummy parse usually ends up having Merciless slash as highest dmg where actual fight parse tends to have overload saber as highest dmg. So it varies a lot. There are no real dummy fights besides Nefra this tier, almost all fights have breaks with the exception of Nefra and Grobthok (if you are doing nothing but DPSing, no AWEing add etc) in NiM DF and none in DP. Not to mention highest dummy parses tend to be the "lucky crit" parses so take it with a grain of salt. If you can average 3k on almost all the fights, you have enough dps to be part of NiM clears.
  5. 1. Yes but you would need a group before entering it, unless you plan on soloing it. 2.If you enter flash point from fleet, it is unlikely that you don't have those missions because those missions are given right at the entrance. 3. If you don't pick up missions, you don't get mission rewards. 4. see above. *Only exception to actually having mission is is the daily commendations you get for completing it via group finder (which will have an indication next to the type of queue stating whether or not the daily reward has been claimed). You can always ask people inside FP, provided you joined via group finder, to share the missions with you.
  6. no you can't. Only spec that does not use slash is combat. Sentinels have one of the biggest ability bloat in the game and can be trimmed down if the devs decide to do so. Strike/Zealous Strike = They both function as focus builders albeit one with a better return and a CD. Leap/Zealous Leap = they both work as gap closers, one with a minimum distance and longer max distance; although leap functions similar to zealous leap(retaining higher focus return/no min distance) if you spec watchman. AOEs = all 3 of them do the same thing, except with positional requirements and one covering range targets in a line (Cyclone slash can be removed this instant and won't have any impact on any spec). Blade storm/slash = one has a semi caster range? apart from how BS interacts (unoffiial) with buffs such as Precision Slash/Heightened Power they are both fillers that have slight variance in damage but one has a CD. With that said, sentinel is not exactly a beginner friendly class to "master". There are so many marauders/sentinels but only a few that know how play effectively. You will need to master about 8-10 key binds and an additional 3-5 for cooldowns/CCs there is no simpler way. You can use shift(or any other) modifier for the list I posted above (maybe not for slash/BS as watchman does not use BS) to simplify things.
  7. Call 911 next time instead of ************. You can report cyber crimes.
  8. if you thought WoW wasnt good but marketing was then you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. There is and was never an MMO with the smooth combat/ability responsiveness of WoW, and it is a HUGE part of PVE/PVP experience. You can talk about who introduced what to MMO, it is like saying Benz introduced gasoline powered automobiles therefor we shouldn't give credit to Tesla(or others), which is as ignorant as it can get. It is not about who introduced what concept to MMOs, it is all about who successfully implemented it in a large scale. I can think many concepts that are just plain better implemented/new in WoW. Transmog CRZ Flex Raiding Adjustable Ability queue Best addon tools/information available (for programmers) etc Bottom line is....How ‘original’ can you truly get when what works is making multiple millions of dollars annually, and what doesn’t work is scrapped or go’s free to play after the first year of its release schedule. Can't forget the fact that games like DAoC could not even cope up with the technological advancement, their shortcoming was down to technology, but WoW is able to implement new features and still keep up with newer engines (SWTOR came out 8 years after WoW, and can't even support 50 people being in one spot) is something of a success in itself.
  9. AKA Don't worry guiz we will fix it in a month. PS: Shadowlands is also afflicted.
  10. you do realize that you have 8 more interrupts in 16m? We have sets of 3 people assigned for each corruptor during the double corruptor phase, meaning we are using 12 our of 16 on corruptors alone and 1-2 dealing with the dispoiler during the same phase. I imagine you could kill corruptors with 2 interrupts if you have good dps and use the interrupt at the last moment of the cast. We also use thirst during this phase specifically.
  11. That was perfect, exactly what I was looking for, thank you.
  12. 1. What is the enrage timer on 16m? 2. How do you deal with the adds? Do the adds always target the tank? It seems like when the adds spawn, they target a tank, but if you hit them(with shields on) they will switch targets and then go back to the recently knocked back tank when roar happens? Having a bit of trouble actually kiting the adds to the fire, seems like the tank gets knocked back far enough that the fires disappear when he runs back in? Do you have tanks gathering adds to the fire? any suggestions?
  13. in traditional FPS i get annoyed when DPS pulls before the tanks but in KDY, I don't really care even when I'm in "tank" role, it's almost impossible to hold all the mobs in KDY as a lowbie tank anyway.
  14. Only thing I can say is, 4 DPS is the better choice for bosses, makes boss fights quicker. A healer will make the trash potion quicker. If we are just looking at the trash part of KDY, then running 3 dps & 1heal is best, followed by 1 tank & 3 dps.
  15. Your argument must be hidden somewhere, because I can't find it.
  16. your assumption has been proven wrong in many MMOs, people who raid, raid for gear whether they admit or not. Take away the HM/NiM tiers of gear, no one will raid those content, even if HM/NiM were tuned for SM level gear with added mechanics. Why would anyone work harder for the same benefits? I certainly wouldn't and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Perhaps you would raid once for the challenge but that's it, and that too if it was somewhat exhibit-able through a title/achievement or something otherwise no one would, certainly not every week. Rolling a new toon is a garbage analogy again for raiding or not raiding, why do you play a different game? surely not for the star wars story.
  17. Yes because not everyone is from EST time zone, nor have the same work hours that you do, nor are the servers only open from 6-1 EST. A healthy MMO will have healthy player base throughout the day, SWTOR needs to merge more servers to be fully enjoyable or to deliver a true MMO experience.
  18. Coming from the same guy who said Pot, meet Kettle..
  19. While prime time play is decent, the server (Shadow lands) is pretty much dead after 1-2am EST on weekdays. Good luck getting even a HM FP/PVP queue to pop after that time. Similar story with pugging OPS, if you don't get your pugs on Tuesday then your best bet is the weekends/monday, even then if you don't get a pug before 9 pm est, you are pretty much SOL. Ranked war zones never really pop, you have to shout in fleet to arrange for another team to queue, solo ranked war zones are almost nonexistence even during prime time. However, if you are mainly a 6-12 EST kinda player, then you should be more than fine and will not see any issues what so ever in getting stuff done.I hope the 2.7 will entice few more people to log on. TLDR: population is dwindling down, each and everyday I see fewer and fewer people on fleet. You can take my word or listen to the fan boys.
  20. And your assumption that having 4 classes or legacy 50 somehow makes a good player is dead wrong. I would take anyone with 1 char that has mastered that toon over someone with legacy 50 or 4 toons that are subpar any day of the week.
