If I may. I have been in architecture for over 15 years. I like having the freedom to do whatever I like in designing. That said, I don't mind the 'hook' system. Btw, I haven't even used it on this MMO - I've only seen it like you all. Let me digress a little on that note...I agree with whomever stated that SWTOR should really step-up their game on the 'advertisements'. GIFs, site updated occassionally, and twitter account that's pretty underwhelming are very disappointing to someone who pays to play. By no means do I need something daily but SWTOR should update more often and provide a more current means of showcasing their game. Ok, back to the strongholds. Until I step into one I will hold my opinions on how I like it or wish they had done something different. If I wanted to specifically design I would stick to my CAD design that I work on day in and day out. If I want something fun in a game that accentuates my play time by designing something that I can go back to for storage, relaxing, or hanging with online friends then I'll play this. Btw, for those who are really upset with this - there's always minecraft - LOL.

Ok, I've read numerous posts about people talking about leaving the game. I just started about a month ago, so to that all I can say is maybe it did suck? I don't know - can't speak to that. However, I can speak to the fact that so far this game is SWEEEEEEET! I played WoW for YEARS - I mean YEARS! Ok, besides that it got a little old and stupid (with the Kung-Fu Panda expansion)! Ok, anyway back to SWTOR and it's comparison to WoW. Yes, I realize that WoW is a MUCH different style/type of game, but this game's detail is so much nicer! If someone had told me when I was a kid watching the first Star Wars movies (episodes 4, 5, and 6) that I was going to be able to play a Jedi Knight or Jedi Consular or even a Smuggler (for free) I would have said YOUR NUTS or gone bonkers with EXCITEMENT! I finally decided to subscribe b/c I needed to just to experience more of the game. As someone in the architecture community (by day), I look at the 'world(s)' they've created online and am BLOWN AWAY. So for the neigh-sayers I say WHAAAAAAAAAT????? And for those who are coming back and those who continue to play - welcome and ROCK ON! I think this game is amazing, but I realize with ANY game there can be tweaks and updates. So far, it appears they are doing this. I know the gripes we all have about better connections, better graphics without the lag, and so on, but overall - if you are a 'bit' older as I then this game encompasses all the things you love about the Original Star Wars franchise, and adding the new even cooler parts of Star Wars! Btw, did I mention this game is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET??!?!?!!?!?!??!?
