hello..STAR WARS the name says it all not central movie themes?,,so the DEATH STAR is not important,,lets get rid of that millenium falcon? gone,,Xwing? gone,,, TIE fghter? gone and my favorite: IMPERIAL STAR DESTROYER,,let just replace that with another land battle, okay? now try and make an EPIC movie like that as for strategic size,,an EMPIRE, with LESS resources, than a game guild??really?

not as long as instances can carry more than 100 or so players u can give all the tools and options in the world,,it doesnt matter if people dont have the WILL to use it many of those , standing on fleet arent antisocial,,theyre AFK, getting drink, bathroom, phone, stretching out, waiting for friends. in the older mmos most of those guys would not be on fleet,,they would be spread around the world,, at instances and spaceports,,so in reality its the "teleport " mentality that is ruining social life waiting and travelling is both immersion enhancing and "forcing " u to talk with strangers thats how i met a lot of nice people,,,NOT in a heroic, but waiting for the boat

yea,,and this where the big guilds have to do their jobs, like they did in wows early days u cant start ANYTHING with only 3 or 5 people,,u need at least 10 or 20 to start it up but finding a big guild, that is NOT focused on game progression,,i dont even think they exist anymore casual/social guilds would be interested, but i dont think they have members enough

its cheap and fast,,,gives a lot of bang for ur bucks but tie pilots rarely get old,,that fact alone ,would make any experienced commander phase the tie out ,and replace it with something more sturdy a star destroyer would need A LOT of cloning tanks on board to replace lost pilots not to mention the tie fighters

the tools are already there,,what is needed is the will to use them but most players dont care about that,,theyre full set on the next level/heroic/gear it is this way of "tunnel view" that ruins the community IMO yea , we all want to progress in the game,,but not at the cost of the reason we play,,FUN

exactly,,this is a golden rule of mmos, and one that BW broke from the start designing the low/mid level play to fit hardcores, have had the effect, that only hardcores is enjoying it and since this is the entry point for new players,,very litte new blood is coming in until they fix that,,this game wont recover
