  1. Annilihator droid in 16 man NMM is not hard. Just use two tanks or any variation of the dozens of strats to do it. Jarg and Sorno have a soft enrage thanks to how insane the railshot is when they go to plan D. It's the result of damage scaling up by a percentage which is far too large.
  2. You mean p3? I've had it happen in p2 and p3, and it's a non issue if you down the mindtrap quick enough.
  3. I never used the word 'priority.' Your insecure guild mates made that jump and started howling on this thread like a bunch of mentally disturbed coyotes. It's pretty funny watching that one guy disparaging all 'blogs' over and over again.
  4. Are all the players in Calli Killed Nox internet tough guy, socially inept, bullies? Haha.
  5. Perhaps you should know your audience before posting? She raids, and has a decent website with lots of good information. For example, she put together the initial charts that listed what all the bosses drop. I think the only people laughing here will be readers reading your posts.
  6. Not only is Bioware half-assing the copying over, they basically screwed a prolific blogger's transfer who would have provided both news coverage and feedback to Bioware. Not a good start to 1.2 Bioware dev's need to stop acting like clowns and start acting professional. CHECK YOUR WORK.
  7. You still wiped hence you didn't really beat the encounter. The way it should work is the boss should reset at that point.
  8. I tank him so he's not facing the group, when he turns on them I burn a taunt. I am not sure what the raid damage is like, but he does randomly hit people, and I try to minimize that.
  9. If you're wiping on the last boss you don't deserve the loot. I think it's working fine.
  10. Sorry but you're wrong here. The difference between Tionese and Columi is pretty big. Even at the Guild Summit Gabe said as much. They admitted that Rakata is broken but they will fix it in 1.2, so getting Rakata and saving the mods is still important. Nonetheless he made a point of saying the gap between Tionese and Columi is big. Doing HM FPs not only gets you whats probably the best itemized gear right now, it prepares you for operations. There's a reason tons of guilds can't do Soa HM. Soa is a control fight through and through. It's not about the best DPS, or the best tank. It's about moving between targets (mind traps, and the balls) while keeping the raid topped off in terms of health. It's actually very well designed, and the only let down is the number of bugs that need to be fixed.
  11. Last I checked WoW had about 11-12 million? Let's say 10 million players. You want to show me another MMO that has HALF those numbers? If you want to get big you need to act big. WoW has been around for a long time, and it remains with an obscene amount of subscribers compared to everyone else. You want to know why? They act like they're big. Bioware? Still avoiding the question on whether they'll open their client to modding. Ridiculous.
  12. You can laugh, but when you're LFGing for a Tank or Healer, be it for a FP or operation, and someone like me replies, you'll be glad. Players like myself come ready, know our class, and learn the encounters. We don't look for short cuts by skipping content.
  13. SWTOR will not be taken seriously until it behaves like a serious MMO. They need to open up the client to modding or they'll remain small time.
  14. I started my BH Powertech tank the first day of EGA. I was fifty a day into official launch. I had all my Columi pieces a week after by running Hardmode Flashpoints in PUGs. The first time I ran a PUG in KP Normal to just "check" out raiding, we wiped on Bonethrasher for 6 hours. Most of the original members had left by then. I got my Columi head piece that night. It felt good. (Remember KUS wasn't out then, and Bonethrasher normal was the only guy who dropped Columi head token). I was the best geared tank at that time, when operations were only run by the hardcore guilds. I ended up joining the top raiding guild on my server as a consequence of being geared 100% in Columi. I'm two Rakata pieces away from a complete Rakata set. The guild I tank for in operations has everything on farm except 16 man KP NMM, which we are close to getting. I have the Infernal title (completed EV in under 2 hours on NMM). When I go into a Warzone I destroy the opposition, and I'm PvE tank specced in PvE gear. When I join a PUG to tank people are happy to have me, grateful, and always comment on how well geared I am. Sometimes they'll even ask me about the Infernal title: only fifteen other people on my server have it, and they were all in my raid when they got it. You want to "skip" HMs because they're not worth it? Be my guest. If you're serious about progression you'll PUG the crap out of them and then app a better guild. Winning requires dedication.
  15. Mechintel, I've been raiding in a guild for three weeks now who have all the content on farm for HM/NMM. I think we only have 2 bosses that are not on farm for NMM because we never bothered doing them that way for one reason or another (Bonethrasher for example). For a while we split into 2 8 mans doing HM raids because we believed the drops in 16 man were not enough. We fixed this by using free for all loot. In any case, right now, from what I can tell from the raid/guild leaders 16 man is by and large easier. We can afford to lose some people and still beat enrage timers, etc. A while ago someone posted videos of SOA on 16 and 8 man. In 16 man the mindtraps had the same amount of hp, and the balls did the same amount of damage. My conclusion, at this point, is that 16 man is indeed easier than 8 man. We haven't had anything hit "harder" or act considerably differently in 16 man. Yet we can afford to lose 2-3 dps and beat the enrage timers.
  16. This. It's useful in BT. In other FPs I use it but not much. I let DPS handle the normals while I go after silvers/greys.
  17. Bioware doesn't care about this operation anymore. They never did. Time to face facts. They're too busy trying to solve the bug where your eyes aren't popping out of your head from their UI, and bonus quests can't be abandoned.
  18. I'm still left wondering why all this work went into a "feature" no one asked for and no one likes. It effects all development on this game, when people complaining about raid bugs in the Operations forum get no response, and yet this issue gets "fixed" and "fixed" again and then "we'll look into it." Bioware, ITS SIMPLE. REVERT YOUR CHANGES. FOCUS ON MORE IMPORTANT THINGS. THANK YOU.
  19. I just added up all the numbers. If anyone has a full set of tanking Rakata can you confirm you have exactly 105% accuracy? Seems like too much of a coincidence. This set would include bracers, belt, implants, and earpiece.
  20. My theory is it's easier to balance with a reset happening at the last tier. This reset is lowering mitigation and just giving you accuracy so you're now "keyed" to the next tier. What would make you useless in tier 2 operations? Not being able to hit properly. That's all your DPS and tanks made useless. You -must- have Rakata or equivalent to do tier 2, if my theory is correct. By removing mitigation stats and bumping accuracy you're now technically reset to your mitigation at fresh 50, or close to it. The next set of armor (dreadmaster armor?) will keep your accuracy and give you your mitigation stats back. Rinse and repeat. This may very well be an oversight by Bioware, but I find it hard to believe -everyone- is getting accuracy bumped for no reason. EDIT: Bioware needs to come clean about this though, and they haven't. Some raiders will quit because they feel the itemization is so daft it's not worth progressing.
  21. I managed in getting 5 Rakata pieces for my BH Powertech. I noticed all the +accuracy and ****** damage mitigation stats. I thought about slotting my columi mods/enhancements in so I could get my old mitigation stats, but that didn't make sense. This is supposed to be an upgrade, right? For hours later I looked over all the other Rakata tanking sets. I'm a Powertech and I should be going for Absorb/Shield chance, along with some defense mixed in (3:3:1 is good ratio like WoW warriors). The full Rakata for all tanks, IMHO, would lower mitigation while increasing accuracy quite a bit. There's only one explanation really. Unless Bioware messed up big time, and didn't itemize properly, the Rakata tanking sets are meant for tanking level 51 mobs. With accuracy at 105% I would have a 10% chance of missing a level 51 mob. This is inline with accuracy of 95% against level 50 (even level). The only explanation for why Rakata just sucks for the current raid tier is that it's not meant for it. It's a set you keep on you for the next tier until you get the coming tier set equivalent of Tionese/Columi. TLDR version: Rakata tanking set has +accuracy for tanking next tier which will be level 51 or level 52 mobs.
  22. Why was this implemented anyway? Who complained? Why are they wasting time fixing things no one cares about?
  23. I've only been able to do bonus boss twice, and that's when 3 CCs were up. I picked one up, focus fire down, picked up the second, focus fire down, go back to boss with the third, focus fire down. In groups, including guild runs, were people got mad I couldn't stay up with all three and the boss up, we wiped and I decided to skip. I suggest strongly that you coordinate the DPS and CC on the adds. They need to nerf the adds to be honest.
  24. I have a theory. Rapid Shots works off your "weapon damage." Unload also claims to work off your "weapon damage." I think Unload is bugged and does not take your aim into account when calculating weapon damage. This is why we see such low numbers with it. This will never be fixed as Bioware is too busy with "telemetry" to read our discussion on the forums
