You seem to be out of the loop... Games with big budgets pay big money for good reviews. Think, sir, think.

85s can go farm and make money. Crafting in WoW is far from great, but by comparison it looks like the greatest system around. They can do an outstanding array of dungeons at the click of a button. Different quests offer your character different advantages, be it aesthetically or so be it. 50s stand on the fleet. Queued, or typing LFG for a while. That is all they do.

That is not nearly humanoid enough. Don't be absurd.

This attitude is the reason PuGs are unplayable.

I seriously dislike players that "stray from the norm" because they think it's cool. There is a mathematically correct way to play every MMO. Your hipster attitude does not change that.

While most deserters are obnoxious, the simple fact is that if the group is terrible (90% of pugs) I'll probably leave too. Unskilled players are a waste of my time.

It's really not even comparable, I believe. It "seems" (I'm no expert) that the servers fill at 5k-10k people.

I believe the reasoning for this is known as "Poor writing."

Or they could just continue to play the game. It is a well done game, you will survive without your e-romance for a few levels.
