if you hate Huttball because you PUG it, then it's not Huttball you hate but, in fact, PUG'ing. Huttball in and of itself is a unique and fun wz. ALL of the wz's suck when you PUG them with people who don't understand objective based pvp. Yes, I'm looing at you 'You mean Civil War has cap points and isn't about 1v1'ing people in ***** end of nowhere?' people I seem to constantly que with.

Hoping against hope that things will eventually get unfu><0r'd for the 50's bracket. 10-49 is QUITE enjoyable once you get into your 20's and have a good portion of your skills. My experience is the 10-49 brackets boasts the best skill/strategy/challenge in most matches. Lev50 pvp is marked by a conflict between the geartastic and the ganktastic. Also, there's nothing else out there for me right now. I'm tired of Elves and fireballs.

Word. Anyone who says assassins are 'useless' in pvp doesn't know how to play one. Or hasn't seen a competent one play huttball.

Why is 10-49 a joke. I and MANY others who've played both 10-49 and 50 feel strongly that the 10-49 bracket is where the real fun/skill is. Lev50 pvp is highly dependent on gear/pre-mades.

Actually, I'm seeing a LARGE increase in the number of healz operatives/scoundrels on the two servers I play on. I know people claim Maras/Sents are the new FOTM, but I think it's these healers. Not necessarily a BAD thing, but it's hilarious to get into a wz as a op healer and there are 3 other op healers and we just HoT each other and everyone else up.

I didn't truly start enjoying huttball until I played it as a Sage. I've played it as a PowerTech (IronFist build) and Operative (healz) and it was a necessary evil on those two. However, with the sage, I have a far more utility abilities that allow me to contribute more to scoring. From the speed boost to my aoe knockback to the pull ability, I began to start enjoying it when playing with my Jugg/Guardian buddy and another friend playing a healer. Then again, I enjoy ALL pvp more when I'm in a quasi pre-made.

What's the deal with all these people? Aren't new race/class combinations and /emotes and other stuff that has NO real impact on the game enough? You want REAL content and fixes? the NERVE of some people

I used to love VS and detest HB. Now, however, I've come to prefer NC and CW and don't entirely loathe HB. Those three require strategy/technique/whatever you want to call it. VS is a zergfest, plain and simple.

Your experience in NC is one I've had frequently and is a textbook example of the 'others' on your team not understanding the objectives of the match. Had this person understood, he wouldn't have criticized you for defending to prevent a back-cap. I've actually gotten several MVP votes by being the one person who solo defends a point in CW or NC and the rest of the team recognized my 'sacrifice'. In such cases, I usually have the lowest dps/heals but have plenty of objective points and related medals.

I'm getting REALLY close. TSW is so very appealing, but I fear history will repeat itself. GW2 holds no interest for me despite how much I enjoyed the original GW. I think the only thing keeping FROM cancelling is the lack of a suitable alternative.

EVERYONE should've seen that coming, you're correct. I think the problem, though, is BioWare's reputation coupled with a VERY beloved IP, led to unrealistic expectations. Perhaps augmented by press/hype from BW themselves (I'm looking at you, Mr. Ohlen). As far as GW2, it's because GW, for what it was, was freaking awesome. THERE was a game with balanced PVP. There was a counter for everything. People have VERY high hopes that the sequel will merge what GW did right with what certain other MMO's do right.

I have figured out why they haven't done this yet and when the realization hit me, I had a 'well, DUH!' moment. If they allowed people to pick their WZ, a LOT of people would pick Civil War or Novare Coast for the simple reason that because of the changes to medals, all they need to do is cap a single point and then sit on it to soak defender medals. They would get 3-6 medals from doing that alone and just rinse/repeat. Huttball and VS require actual effort to get more than a single medal.
