  1. To EA, thats all thanks they could ever want or need.
  2. I get that you other players are not happy about the no addition of ops within the beginning release of swtor, but I'm not convinced that Bioware is done with ops. Why scale up the old ops, in addition if they were completely done with them? Whats the point? It might appease some of the old raiders if they made some of the old content challenging and relevant again, but not much for the old player. I think they are counting on a fairly large wave of players who might give them a try and are making an effort to make these ops more accessible and having more enticing rewards so its not as "scary" to new players who may have minimal experience. Then maybe a new operation might be a more worthwhile endeavor. I can understand not being happy about that. You have the full right to unsubscribe if you want to. Come back when the new operations come out or do not at all if you are fed up with SWTOR. There is a world of MMOs that might content a raiders type such as yourself and a new line of SW games if you're a person who like their star wars fix. Maybe try FFXI, Raasu tells us its all the rage. I'm slightly intrigued, though Anime fantasy games are not really my thing. I do think there is a difference between what Bioware is doing at launch than what Bioware is doing now. Yeah the MMO players might very well devour the story only content (though we have no idea exactly how long a Chapter is, nor if there is any significant variation between a class or a faction interaction, etc the things RPG fans will play to see out different outcomes), which I think Bioware is counting on, and threw out further hooks by offering a chapter every month starting in Janurary ending somewhere in 6 months, which they promise another round of such content.
  3. So you're saying the inclusion of an ops would completely change that? Kind of hyperbole, don't you think?
  4. My reality before this announcement of this xpac was much worse than your current reality. I pictured a true maintenance mode with no content in sight.
  5. I don't run ops as much as I like for a number of reasons. I play the game alot (roughly 6-8 hours a day I wager) , but i can get called away at anytime and it makes it difficult to commit my time purely to an ops groups that could last anywhere from 2-3 hours straight. It doesn't help also that I'm central time and the normal people on the west coast are 2 hours behind me and as around 10 pm pacific is the time most seem to run their, sometimes I'm left staying awake until 3 am in the morning to complete an ops. Time restraint is why I mostly stick to class stories and warzones. I've also had really bad experiences with pug groups, so the only people do them with are guildies. For ToS and Rav, the latest ops, I haven't really found anyone even willing to run those consistently with non progression like groups. A pity, since I would have liked to playthrough them.
  6. I've actually thought about including something of a disclaimer like yours with my referral link but I think people would just perceive me as just trying to be self-serving. It is true though, the person referring gets far more out of this deal than the person clicking the link. If you click someone link, you should do it because you think they are helpful and you like them. Don't just click some random's link. Anyways, at first I didn't really perceive that putting my link in my signature would net me much CC from people clicking, but you would be surprised how many people click. I've gotten 16 people who clicked my link since I put it up around May 31st of this year. I've made around 9k CC I reckon. I haven't had some people click my referral for some time, but I'm still sitting pretty on around 5k CC right now.
  7. Yes please. its a great mask, but it doesn't mesh well with much anything in the current game.
  8. I will destroy you! Oh wait, wrong game.
  9. Some people just want to watch the galaxy burn I guess.
  10. I am.. conflicted about this news. I mean, on one hand, I've grown rather fond of some of my companions from their roles in my class story and would hate to lose them for the sake of nostalgia. On the other hand, ever since the conclusion of vanilla content, all companions have languished in my ship, with no purpose. If they can have one last defining moment in my story, I would perhaps be ok with their leave was permanent. I'll wait for more information before speculating more.
  11. There is already a Nexu mount coming for PVP. I'm sure there will be a CM version shortly after.
  12. For a second when I saw this thread title, I thought Tait was saying he was going on vacation. Liked this short story. I wonder Nico keeps so young.
  13. Nah, that restriction got removed from the Outfit Designer. Also from Dulfy.
  14. Class restrictions on gear don't matter anymore. Just put it on in the Outfit Designer tab and you can have the re-breather as your helmet.
  15. I assume at least one chapter is tying up a certain loose end from SoR.
  16. When I run dailies, its one of the places I hit, fairly big payout.
  17. I thought the mission for Oricon didn't pop up until you hit 55. Sure you can go there, but you wouldn't be able to start the main questline.
  18. Few of my questions. Where is Zakuul located within our galaxy (or if not in our galaxy, where?) Is the Zakuul Empire a society of force sensitives or are the soldiers we see in trailer elite shocktroopers? What was the inspiration behind the design of the Zakuul empire? Do you have further plans with our Glorious Devourer of the Universe, Emperor Vitate? The fact you said that it was said you had hints of the coming of the Zakuul empire makes me feel as though you wouldn't left such a big elephant room by leaving his whereabouts unknown. Who is the face behind the twins? I'm damned curious about that.
  19. Those 30 day codes only come from the original boxed set of SWTOR. Did you already have a physical copy of swtor? If so, I don't think it will work the second time.
  20. Starting over sounds better. You can get better used to your powers and get better caught up with the actual story rathan starting from an old character. Besides 12x XP makes leveling so quick. In terms of population, Harbinger is the highest populated server and it inherited a majority of the APAC players, which makes it more populated than average of what would normally be quieter hours of your typical server. As it is really cheap to transfer characters, I would still recommend transferring over those two from Pot5, especially if they have decent level crafting skills.
  21. The story isn't bad, but its such a pain to go through I just say screw it. Its way too big and there are too many routes you can take until you realize you either went the wrong way or a dead end.
  22. Cool. That way you can see it from any planet you happen to be on. It would be great if the majority started using that. If you haven't already, putting it on the server forums is good too.
