  1. Bounty Hunter is not a species. Being a powertech or mercenary doesn't make you any less of a bounty hunter, it just gives you a focused skill-set of a bounty hunter. You decided to stay a generic, unimportant bounty hunter with no specialized skill-set. Of course they are going to kick you and I would too. I might as well bring along a level 10 in need of social points because they would be about as useful.
  2. You should be able to use him on all your toons after unlocking him with cartel coins instead of have to re quest or re purchase him for all of your alts.
  3. There isn't much point in using this if your class quest won't recognize the fact that you have traveled to your capital world. It wastes more time since you have to travel back to the spaceport, fly to another planet and back to your home world to get it to register for your quest. So I guess a heads up to people not to waste your credits on this one, it's more of an annoyance than it is helpful.
  4. So I have split my textbox tabs into two separate chat boxes. The "general" textbox chat settings consists of 'Trade' all the way down through 'group' and my "other" textbox consists of chat settings 'ops announcement' all the way through 'group information'. The problem is that for some reason when you separate the two tabs it makes the default chat box the "other" textbox. So every time I zone in or out of somewhere and I start typing it's in the "other" textbox though it shows up on my "general" textbox because of the way my settings are. The reason this is annoying is that when I go to link something in chat, for some reason the "other" textbox isn't able to link items. Since the game makes it the default textbox when separated, a lot of times I post things on general chat without a link or catch myself and have to delete the message and click over into the "general" textbox and type it all again. This does get really annoying after a while. I like my setup having 2 textboxes each posting different data. Does someone know a way to allow the "other" textbox to link items or a way to make the "general" textbox the default textbox? Thanks for the help.
  5. Good question. Why do people ask in general chat for other players to help them start a guild while stating that they can leave after if they choose to? I'm sure these people would go ahead and start one without asking if there were no requirement. This restriction does not prevent anyone from being a one man guild, so why is there a restriction?
  6. I have never understood why MMOs force you to have other people in your party to start a guild. All people do is ask general chat for someone to help start one and the people usually leave after anyways.
  7. If force leap/charge not filling the resolve bar is the most class imbalanced thing in the game, this game is in pretty good shape.

    No huttball?

It seems that they are doing novare coast marathons, that's all I get anymore and it's the worst, most boring, unoriginal wz there is.
  9. You say you don't like the idea of nerfing and at the same time you want to improve specific classes. Every class that you don't improve at the same time is essentially getting nerfed.
  10. I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be a whiner. I was trying to make a suggestion. There are times when I have to ask for someone to share the daily, but there are times when no one has it. My point is, what is the difference between you asking for and accepting the quest at the start of the warzone and clicking on a terminal and accepting the quest at the beginning of a warzone? The only difference is that at least once in the game's existence, one person had to be on the fleet to accept the quest one time. That requirement doesn't seem like it should have anybody raging that there is now a terminal inside the WZ or threatening to unsub. Take the suggestion or leave it I don't really care, it would just be more convenient.
  11. I have 12 toons who are at least 50, so I hear what you are saying about how it gets boring to do pve now to level. On the other hand I enjoy aspects of baby pvp (10-29) that you don't get with other groups of pvp. Once I hit 30 with the toon I am leveling now, I won't have any more character slots (out of 16) under 30. So I enjoy the slow leveling because I do pvp for the fun, not to level. If you are more concerned with leveling fast but still want to mix in pvp, I recommend you get the 30% legacy boost while doing the FP and WZ dailies/weekly and questing in the down time. If you want to play level 55 pvp in the meantime I would suggest toon hopping when you feel the urge for stunwars. If most people just did pvp to level up, the planets would get awfully lonely and people who wanted to quest wouldn't have groups for heroics.
  12. At the same time it may support people being on other planets which could encourage world pvp, daily quests, and other things. There really isn't a benefit to being on the fleet unless you enjoy the trolling that goes on in general chat.
  13. Every day there are always multiple people asking that question. There are already vendors in each warzone, why not just add a quest terminal so people can snag the daily quick before the event starts?
  14. Reading peoples complaints about how people complain about things annoys me as much as the original complainers annoy you. How about this for a change, if the subject of a post annoys you... just don't read it. How easy is that. Pretty simple if you ask me. Instead you want to stir things up and in the end you accomplish nothing. I actually enjoy the reading peoples complaints about the game. I feel they had something great and irreversibly ruined it with the Cartel Market. So I hope these posts keep going.
  15. Also worth noting that the new species costs less (600 CC) than a character name change. This makes me wonder how much paid character transfers will cost once they are released... hopefully I won't be around to see.
  16. When I saw that they were coming out with an option to change the name of you characters I was relatively interested. I spent more time being rejected with naming my character than actually customizing it (including trying to just randomize my name) that I just went with whatever. So as I was looking up this feature I noticed that it cost cartel coins. Though I wasn't surprised that it did, it did surprise me how much it did cost. Findings: (Feel free to correct my math if it's wrong) Character Name Change Cost: 1000 Cartel Coins/$9.51 (Buying 1050 Cartel Coins @ $9.99) Guild Name Change Cost: 3000 Cartel Coins/$21.81 (Buying 5500 Cartel Coins @ $39.99 "Best Deal") Do you, or would you ever hate your character/guild name bad enough to pay these prices to have them changed? I personally wouldn't. I honestly would rather start a guild over and reinvite people. There are two ways I would know how to possibly get a character name change. 1. Have a bunch of guildies put in a ticket saying that they found it offensive or 2. Delete the character, make a new one with the same name, then put in a ticket asking for a recovery (already did this one, just not for the sole purpose of changing the name). Yeah, it may be a little more work and time but I honestly find these prices appalling, especially to a subscriber.
  17. Great, so you do evil things... but the republic wouldn't continue to give you jobs worth lots of credit if you're going to go around killing jedi. It wouldn't make any sense to do so. It still makes no sense of why a 'friendly fire' option would be available in the Outlaw's Den and nowhere else. It seems really silly to me. Might as well let your own faction go around killing everywhere else if they want, because they're Dark V !
  18. I understand that they made it able to do, but I want to know why they think it is ok to just kill off someone that is part of your same cause... especially Jedi. I only wish that if someone from my faction wanted to gank me they would either A. Ask for a duel. Or B. Raise me after they kill me so I don't have to keep running all the way back. Thanks also to the post about buying the part with another toon, I will try this. The only problem is they are killing off the vendor too, but I will give it a go.
  19. Open world pvp, the main reason I chose to join the server that I am on. It seems more realistic in the sense that if you can see an enemy, you can kill them. You would do this because they oppose your faction, beliefs, and threaten your order. If the opposite faction kills me in the open world, I don't really care and just kind of accept it regardless of the level difference. What I have a problem with is the Outlaws Den where someone of your own faction can murder you in cold blood for no reason other than you are looking for HK parts. This could be someone that I may have helped in a FP, WZ, OPs, questing and they don't remember and here they are popping out of the shadows to murder a fellow jedi five levels below you in cold blood. They get nothing out of it and they hinder my progress when we are on the same side. Why would they allow this when we could duel. What makes it ok to kill someone in the outlaws den that you can't anywhere else? Like I said, it wouldn't bother me if the opposite faction did this, but it rubs me the wrong way that someone of my own faction wouldn't give me the common courtesy of just dueling me if they felt the need for an unskilled and pointless confrontation.
  20. To have pay for access to a race then have to pay to change your character to be the race that you already payed access to seems a bit absurd. I can see them charging for new hair style unlocks like they do with emotes and stuff but not the stuff you already have access to. I guess in the end it doesn't really matter because people will just sell the unlocks on the GTN anyways, so if you don't want to to spend real $ just save up for it in game.
  21. I think they would make more money off of people subbing to the game. They seem to like limiting content to entice people to sub. Why not make this something they give access to subscribers only. If people want to pay $15 for a one month sub to change their appearance they would probably make more money. I also think this would be a more fair route to take while keeping people happy at the same time.
  22. That is just like a pizza place basing how well they sell sushi as a judgement to how well other food would sell at their joint. If they would would sell the food that everyone would buy like wings and subs they would actually turn a profit. Why would anyone base whether or not to make more species by coming out with one that no one really wants in the first place. I would love to see an actual poll on everyone's first choice of added species. I'm pretty sure Cathar wouldn't be close. So why did Bioware choose them? It obviously wasn't to make as much money as possible... which is actually surprising.
  23. The description of the Sage class ability Mental Alacrity is not correct. It clearly states that it gives the user an 'immunity from interrupts' but does not provide this. Many abilities interrupt (not just the one specific class ability that the only purpose is to interrupt). Stuns and knock-back abilities also interrupt a user. When I am casting an ability and I am knocked back or stunned, my casting bar says 'interrupted'. That's weird because mental alacrity states I can't be interrupted. This is misleading. Don't tell me an ability does something it clearly doesn't. If I'm only immune to class specific interrupts, please state it that way.
  24. This ^ Not to mention you would have the same problem as group finder where someone would sign up for a spot they can't or won't fill (like a healer) and then your team is down a healer. Then no one would be able to respec because that will have been taken out too.
