  1. I filed a third ticket about this, yesterday. Glad to see someone went and unburied this thread, as well. Hopefully it'll see some attention, soon. And to piggyback off of your post, I'd also like to add an inquiry as to why, exactly, the companion gear got fixed before the player gear did? Edit: Wanted to clarify that it's not just the Massassi (192-rated) healer's implants that are bugged. Its all of the level 60-required healing implants for Sorcerers that you can by with commendations that are bugged. Their secondary stats seem to be fine, but their endurance and willpower are dramatically lower than that of their DPS equivalents. The implants acquired via gear tokens that are dropped from operations do not appear to be bugged.
  2. Wintraders have had action taken against them. Pretty sure a guild on the Bastion was banned from participating in Conquest for a week or two because they were caught win-trading.
  3. Well, I don't exactly support Khiriath planning to call a Bioware customer support droids a "goddamn liar," I must agree 100% with this. Even if Bioware can't award players that weren't getting proper loot the gear that they might have won in a roll, you can still track the commendations received per operation run. A simple deduction based on how many commendations a player received (and of what type) should determine what group size and difficulty a player was in, and if one does not match the other, then I'd imagine that it'd be pretty obvious to anyone looking at the data that something's not working right.
  4. You realize anyone that exploited didn't rob you of anything, right? You weren't held back, or pushed farther behind. Some other people (apparently not a majority) just got a little further ahead. And anyone that used the exploit heavily are receiving suspensions/bans, which means they are getting most/all of their ill-gotten gear and schematics taken away... I'm not really sure what your QQing about.
  5. Now that exploit repercussions are being taken care of, can this be looked at? Acknowledged? Fixed?
  6. You'd be better off adding this concern to this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=790053 People had addressed the same issue with 192 and 198s, as well. Sorc Healer implants (where gear bought with commendations is concerned) seems to be irrefutably broken.
  7. I think it makes business sense from Bioware's standpoint. You had 2 brand new systems get released at approximately the same time: Strongholds and Conquest. Strongholds is basically just an incentive for players to continue to do the same tasks over and over again, whether that be crafting, raiding, pvping or something else entirely. Strongholds, when it comes down to it, are largely cosmetic (with some quality of life stuff as an added bonus). To keep strongholds quickly becoming just a glorified credits sink, they had to intrinsically link it to another system in order to make maxing our your stronghold's prestige worth it. So, Bioware tied one new system to the other new system and that got most people actively using both..
  8. Another update, and still no fix for these broken implants.
  9. Huh. Didn't even know you could exploit Nefra.
  10. Dulfy deleted a post, or SWTOR community team deleted a post? Was this post made today and then deleted?
  11. You can exploit Malaphar now? In what fashion?
  12. Every time Bioware fumbles its public relations, take a shot.
  13. I'll start being happy again when 16-man loot drops, slot machines, utility and discipline bugs, and gear (both for companions and player characters) with completely buggered stats gets fixed.
  14. This thread, with people talking about how they're now happily swimming in credits again, pretty much vindicates anyone that *****ed about the slot machine nerf. People waiting for prices to go a bit higher so they can make millions again, purples selling for 150k-180k. Any SWTOR developer or community person that's reading this should take serious note of this thread.
  15. Slicing was already nerfed once, close to vanilla once. If it gets nerfed again, because of whiny forum users whom Bioware has caved to twice in recent memory, I swear to god, I'm moving to FInal Fantasy XIV.
  16. This bug was reported for Sorc healers. Good to know its just the Imperial side that was affected.
  17. This needs to be revised into documenting the reaction to the bugs and exploits since the xpac released, as well. lol
  18. Wow. At least the Republic one got some color. The Imperial walker is pretty much just a Yavin walker with a black Imperial logo instead of a red one.
  19. I mean, you're always gambling on cartel packs... And more accurately, I was deriving humor from the irony of a criticism of how/why people were getting holed up in their strongholds.
  20. Who wants Massassi implants when they're so bugged anyway? Better off with 178s if ur a sorc healer.
  21. What's wrong with staying inside and being in front of a machine all day? Isn't that how you play Star Wars?
  22. I honestly think the furor is over a couple of things. Most level 60s, I'm guessing, exploited Ravagers. Everyone was calling for their being banned. Then this glorious slot machine came out and the rewards were AMAZING. Pissed crafters and dumb exploiters then started calling for the bans of people "exploiting" the slot machines, which, of course, they were not. But Bioware investigated it, anyway, applied a sledgehammer to some of the drop rates and said "Look! We fixed something for you players!" And now the people that were using the slot machine are pissed because they had their toy taken away. The General forums seems to have largely forgotten about the Ravagers exploiters, and I think Bioware is holding some value in that. This slot machine business is bread and circus compared to the Ravagers exploit, and Bioware is trying to milk the attention surrounding it for as long as they can, before people come back to realize that nothing has yet been done about the Ravager's exploiters, seeing as how they were really just posturing, anyway. More time whiny people spend focusing on this slot machine, more time Bioware has some of the heat taken off of them for not having resolved more important tasks.
