  1. Maybe this? http://www.darthhater.com/articles/feature/19836-guide-companion-gifts
  2. Once you choose to unlearn a crewskill, the levels you´ve obtained will be lost...
  3. Legacy names follow the same restrictions as your character name. Legacy names can appear after your "char" name, as a surname. It can also be displayed before the "char" name. (James "Legacy") & ("Legacy" james) The function to have the Legacy names before or after your "char" name, can be found in the options (social tab) You're allowed 15-letters for a name. No spaces. Only the first letter can be capital. That´s what i know...
  4. To be able to see your FPS while in game, (Ctrl + Shift + F) Nope there are not yet any search function in the forums
  5. I believe it´s because players are so used to rely on addons to keep track of threat-generation, Dps brackets and predicted healing. Not saying everyone has this problem. Many suffer from extreme lagg? Not all players in SWTOR has experience from other MMO´s. (although the majority does)
  6. I believe that question was already answered by;
  7. The end of Act 1 means you have reached to a certain point in your class quests. Keep doing your class quests and you will eventuelly obtain your legacy.
  8. No worries dude. Once you hit 20 and the following levels there after. The amount of creds will drastically increase. The cost for the skill aswell as the mount will be the least of your concern. Aslong as you don´t constantly send your companions on crew missions and buy scraps of the GtM...
  9. Sine i´m not yet lvl 50 i can´t say for sure what our third stats will be for end-game. Whilst levelling i think that you should focus mainly on your 1st and secondary sats.
  10. You need to go to the Republic Fleet and seek out the respec trainer in the Northern corner at the Combat training area. (skill mentor Kunoa)
  11. Well, yes. Upgrading your RAM will gain you a performance boost. But for the integrated grpchics you´re using you will always have poor results. Even though your computer meets the rec/min specs to play this game. It doesn´t mean you will play it lagg-free. The min/rec specs is there to tell you - yes this is required to start the game and to play it on low/min settings with a somewhat bumpy performance. Take me for example. The one PC i play this game on isn´t built to handle this game "that well" (2gigs or RAm, Quad-core and a GT430 card.) According to the requirements i´m able to play this game on low settings and poor performance. But i can still play this game with medium to high settings with shadows off. Steady FPS cept from high-populated buildings. All i´m saying is. You might or might not be able to play this game smoothly, but you´re still able to play it. It´s all up to you. Me, i´m satisfied with the results i´m having. I installed the game on my min pc just to see weither or not it was able to handle it and with what results.
  12. That card you´re using aint the most optimal card. With all the issues going on so far with this game, that card will have a hard time... There could be numerous reason as to why your PC acts this way. The reason behind: Pc is working too hard and is overheating. To protect itself it goes into sleepmode. (Try to doa clean-up. remove dust.) Buy some canned-air and use it to clean heat sink plus other fans and vents etc. Try to change your power settings to not go into sleep-mode. Maybe it´s your PSU going crazy (Start>run>eventvwr) and see if it tells you what program is causing it, if there is a program causing it. Have you ever updated your BIOS? Look up any new updates on your brands website. It may or may not solve your problem.
  13. You mark the text you wish to hide in a spoiler tag. Then press the SPOILER button. the spoiler button can be found in the second line, last to the right.
  14. What card are you running? If you´re using a Nvidia card, try downloading the newest beta drivers and make a SLI profile for Swtor.exe Send us your Dxdiag aswell. Start>Run>Dxdiag (use the the spoiler tags when posting it here)
  15. They do. In the 290.53 BETA drivers. http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/win7-winvista-32bit-290.53-beta-driver-uk.html
  16. The authenticator binds to your account through a serial number. Just like when you type in the serial number for the game. The serial number is unique and binds only to "that" game/authenticator. Not anyone elses.
  17. Maybe this can help you decide? http://swtorprogress.com/members.php As far as server-wise goes. No idea. All i know that on my server: Sith inq and Jedi sentinels isn´t hard to find. That´s why i rolled a Smuggler
  18. Sad to say no =/ The only way to keep your companion up (if needed) is to roll a class with a healing spec or toss yourself into the bonfire...
  19. I second that. By lowering your resolution you´ll notice a performance gain.
  20. You also need to make sure you have write-protection on before making any changes to the ini. Or else the changes you applied to the settings, might be reset by the time you log in to the game.
  21. Press Start and search for %appdata% (make sure you have "show hidden files and folders enabled") Open up the Local folder Then the SWTOR folder After that the swtor folder Then the ssettings folder open up the client_settings Configuration file. (START>%appdata%>Local>SWTOR>swtor>settings)
  22. So last night i landed on Alderaan. I started with doing the starter quest that you get right after you get off your ship. I advanced to the House organa, doing the Q-chain. After that i did the first Heroic. By the time that was done i felt i wanted to continue on with my class-quests (smuggler) When i was done with the class-quest-chain on Alderaan i was already lvl 32. Now im trying to decide weither i want to stay on Alderaan and complete all the quests/ (there are tons left) 4 different zones left i havent even touched yet) Or continue on to the next planet and the next part of my class-quests. Thing is, i´d love to stay on alderaan to complete all those quests that i haven´t yet done. But from earlier experience on other planets when doing all the quests, i find myself being too high (level) and that kinda ruined the experience on the next planet. the mobs and the heroics were too easy. There´s nothing more irritating than knowing that by leaving Alderaan i´d also be leaving a ton of quests. So... i´m asking you people who already completed Alderaan and the quest-chains there... Is Alderaan and all its quests something i should consider to complete? Or do i leave for the next planet to continue on with my class-quests? any response to this post is greatly appreciated.
  23. I don´t think there´s yet an option where you can level your crewskills/craft while being offline. Once your inventory/bags run out of space you wont be able to craft anymore, until you empty enough slots required for the current crafting-session Once you have more than one companion you can have them all gather resources, go on missions and craft items. (all at the same time)
  24. If you don´t want to break the 100$ range AND only want to play SWTOR, LoL ... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Gigabyte-Technology-GT-430-1GB-DDR3-Graphic-Card/15421352 That will do
