  1. I'll be interested in seeing if all the "I've cancelled my sub" scrubs actually do. You guys realize threatening to quit the game isn't going to get your way right? And of course you also realize that getting pissed over 2 hours of maintenance time during any games start up phase is ridiculously dumb. If everyone had left their beloved WoW in vanilla for the reasons you guys cite, WoW would have failed miserably.
  2. I tank as Assassin and use Ashara. Basically its a burn the boss down strat and I can usually 2-3 shot bosses. Thanaton was tough, but if you interrupt the chain lightning and aoe ability (force surge?) then he becomes infinitely easier. It's the same strat for his actual ghost (Horak-Mul). I did it as a 46 Tank with dps pet. Truly the biggest thing is efficient use of cooldowns and interrupts. The heal is relatively small so I would let it through, but interrupt the big hits. Since you can't heal, I've found that your friend is using a dps pet and tanking yourself. At this level, using the 20 min cooldown at 75% health and sacrifice when low, coupled with stims and medpacs, I was able to beat him with about 60% health left. Edit: remember, they actually want us to think and use our abilities. They don't want the content faceroll easy. I don't mean this in a dick manner, but if you are a higher level and having trouble, chances are you aren't using a mechanic they want you to use. Try to figure out what works best for you. Also, check Khem's stance and abilities on the expanded bar. He may have auto switched to dps mode or something. It happens.
  3. Go tank spec and use whatever pet in dps spec. I was able to pretty much 2 or 3 shot every class boss up to Voss where it got a little more difficult. Pointers 1) Find the most efficient use of interrupts. Let's be honest, a lot of people just try to face roll and zerg the bosses and get frustrated when it doesn't work. For instance, I have the normal interrupt, spike, and electrocute so I use the kick, spike, kick, electrocute, kick, spike, kick and usually the mob dies. Deception has low slice too. 2) Figure out which spells are ok not to interrupt. You have to think and not just blindly interrupt. Light damage spells can be left alone, but things like chain lightning and the aoe lightning need to be interrupted on pretty much every class boss such as Zash. 3) 20 minute cooldown. Don't wait until you are almost dead. 75% ish seems to be a good marker for me and times in pretty solid with my interrupt rotation. 4) Use ALL your abilities and cooldowns. You can't just spam thrash and hope to win. 5) Get out of AoE's. It's a dynamic game. Don't take shots to the face that you can avoid.
  4. Do you people really think that spamming a ridiculous and immaterial message will get BW's attention? YOU ARE STILL GETTING WHAT YOU WERE PROMISED!!! 5 DAYS EGA!!!
  5. Another QFT. You know, I'm actually okay with the idea of all the immature kids getting peeved that they didn't get more than they promised and quitting the game so I don't have to watch them QQ in general chat. Go Occupy Wall Street or something
  6. QFT And technically, you didn't PAY for early access. You ordered early for early access, but your price is no different than people who are buying the day of release. Get over it people. It's a game and though I may not like it either, I would rather they be cautious than to let everyone in, crash the servers and have them down for most of EGA because they were too aggressive. Just relax. Only kids lose sleep over not getting as much extra as some people. Edit: The original design was 5 days of early access, not 7. If you don't get the full 7, relax you will most likely still get the 5 you were promised.
  7. This is right on the money. It's EARLY game access and doesn't count towards time you paid for. Relax. They are simply making sure that the servers are relatively evened out and don't have some overloaded on the first 2 hours of early game access. You will get to play soon enough, and by official launch things will be kosher. Don't panic or bash the dev's. They don't have 7 years of operation to stand on like some other game.
