  1. Novare coast, Alderaan: Half the team runs directly to the teams side turret, then stands there AFK the entire game, they all get a lot of objective points. Void Star: A healer stands a bit back from the doors, heals the team for 1 million HP, receives very few objective points because the healer wasn't close enough to the doors. One of these two types of players did a lot more to help their team than the other, and it was definitely not the people AFKing on the turret. None of the stats tell the whole story of who helped their team and who did not.
  2. As was already mentioned, it's in the PVP area (Outlaw's Den). I think that probably the reason why there are not many people keeping a list of exactly where all the GTN locations are, is because it's mostly unnecessary. Just go to the fleet.

Just in case some didn't see it, there was a post in the PVP forum regarding Mercs: Perhaps not the best, but at least we know that the devs are aware of that something is missing (as all of us have noticed long ago), and that they will at least try to do something about it eventually. "give Mercenaries and Commandos better escapes in PvP" in particular sounds to me like there could indeed be something interesting coming up.
  5. I would assume the exact same way as Vanguards do their version of the Powertech's Jet Charge (which they can talent in their tank tree). Jet Charge: The Powertech tank uses the jetpack to fly towards the enemy. Storm: The Vanguard tank makes an aggressive run towards the enemy. Making Unload root the target I feel could be OP, especially for Arsenal. Personally, I also don't see interrupted Unloads as being a big issue. I'd be in favor of that too. The reason why I personally would prefer Disengage is because it's something different from what's already in the game, and Disengage would take a lot more skill to use effectively (which I am in favor of). Could also be good, I agree. TBH the only reason why I prefer Disengage (or speed boost) is because I think they would feel more awesome to use. Strong no from me for adding any new stuns into the game.
  6. I don't know about corthosis substrate, but Thermoplast Flux definitely have more than only moderate yield missions. The different Flux materials are some of the easiest materials to get, in my opinion. What level are your professions at? Remember that when you've just opened up a new tier of missions, in the beginning all missions are moderate, after you've leveled it up a bit, you'll get better missions.
  7. At the moment, if I look forwards, then strafe run to the side while still looking forward, then the knockback cone goes to the side. I'd prefer it if the cone instead went in the direction which I am facing. I feel like this would be an improvement especially when circle strafing a target (either because you are circle strafing for combat, or because you are positioning yourself to knock the target into an obstacle). This is the only thing I don't like about the new Overload.

I won't bother commenting on the rest because it's obvious that you don't want to listen, I'll just like to point out to you that this is indisputable proof that you have no idea what you are talking about. PVP dailies do not give credits, there is no way to make decent credits by doing PVP. If PVP people want credits, they'll have to do solo PVE dailies (Black Hole etc). Oh I'm the one missing the point? The point was that you keep bringing up that PVP players can not bring HK into a Warzone, even though that's completely irrelevant. No part of HK has anything to do with any Warzones. HK will for the most part be used for solo PVE, and crafting (and apparently you personally will also use him in Hardmode Maelstrom Prison/Foundry). It's players like you that make me want to change my mind, from being someone who joins groups with players to help them get to the vendor, to instead join groups who will stop people like you from going there. Oh how sweet those tears would be. Have a nice day.

When Bioware first announced the Legacy gear, a lot of people thought that they would work like heirlooms from WOW (the gear would always be the same level as the wearer), however this did not turn out to be the case. There is currently no gear in the game which changes it's level to the wearer. The Legacy gear which you can buy with tokens from the Legacy gear vendors can give you a small stat boost for a little while if you get them at the appropriate level. The idea is that you send the token to a low level alt. As you have noticed, these are unfortunately pretty much useless. The Legacy gear which you can buy with credits, or could have gotten as rewards from events, are level 50 and modifiable. Some people buy this gear on a level 50 character who is doing end game content, loads the gear up with end game mods, and then send the loaded legacy gear to their fresh 50's when they level another character. This way you can quickly gear up alts if you already have a level 50 character doing end game content.

This I feel like would be a good change, or at the very least Rocket Punch should remove any movement imparing effects from the Mercenary, so that at least we can get out of melee range for a little while. Other than that, I really like the suggestion of a disengage ability, my favourite is the one where the Merc uses the jetpack to fly backwards while shooting at the target, snaring the target for the duration. I strongly disagree with any change to stuns, there are already too much of that in the game, and changing it back to 30m turns it back into a very effective offensive ability. In my opinion the focus should be on survivability when against close range enemies.
  11. The gear which Adeline Marr wears in Bounty Hunter Act 2. The gear which Iopiane Ratle wears in Bounty Hunter Act 1 (I know that similar gear exists in the game for Troopers, but not the same color scheme and I don't recognize the legs). Sith Inquisitor helmets which can be worn under robes (please just change Kallig's helmet into such a helmet). The gear which the Sniper wears at the end of the Imperial Agent Character Progression trailer (the white chest which looks similar to PVP tier 1, I like the gloves too). ...however whatever you do, DON'T MAKE THEM ONLY AVAILABLE FROM LOTTERY BOXES! It's OK if they are also available from lottery boxes, but they should also be able to be directly purchased.

  13. Can you explain how you think that the current system would help you in this case? In your first case, the door still got capped...
  14. I think these sound like good changes. When you say that stuns would give X per second you are affected by them, I assume this also means that if the stun is broken early for whatever reason (CC breaker, damage, Cure), the target only gets resolve for the time they spent stunned. The only thing I might disagree with, is I think it would still be good to have resolve decay slightly also before resolve has been filled (although perhaps not quickly as it currently does at 25 per second). Else I think that you'll get resolve filled too easily.
  15. To clear up the "punching through armor" bit: Shield and defense are completely useless against all Force and Tech type abilities, they only work against melee and ranged. With armor however, the type of ability does not matter, what matters is the type of damage. Armor works against Kinetic and Energy damage (sometimes also referred to as "weapon damage"), but not against Elemental and Internal damage (so stuff like bleeds, burns, fire, and so on). Wow, nice numbers by that Jugg tank. I wish I would get into games with that many healers.
  16. That was a rhetorical question, you are obviously not going to be using him for Flashpoints, we both know that. Dailies? A lot of PVP people also have to do dailies because Warzones pays so little credits. Now I see where the problem is, you are confused and think that you have to do Warzones to get him. You don't have to do any Warzones to get HK-51, you just have to go to Outlaw's Den. Can you bring HK-51 to Outlaw's Den? -Yes, you can. Good, now that's finally settled.
  17. So, which Flashpoints are you PVE'ers going to be using HK-51 for? (seeing as how Flashpoints are among of the requirements for getting him, and according to you, you should only have to do content in which HK is useable)
  18. I agree with all of this, however I will add that it seems as though the caps on PVP commendations are going to be raised in patch 1.5, so that you'll be able to have 4500 ranked and 2750 normal.
  19. This is something which I would be willing to pay money for. This could be solved in exactly the same way as with guild banks, except you are also able to put Legacy items in it. I cannot imagine them having coded it in a way which this is not easy to change. Alternatively it could be done like it is in Guild Wars 2, where you can put anything in your bank but if the item is bound to a character, then only the character to which the item is bound can take it from the bank.

I have to laugh, first you make this important announcement regarding gold selling and how much you are against it, then you happily advertise how players will essentially be able to buy gold from you... Apparently you hold the same line as Blizzard on this issue (with Diablo 3), you are very much against gold selling, unless you are the ones profiting from it.

The reason why I felt like I had to point out the specific talents for you was because your spec is so bad that I didn't know if you even understand those basic concepts. You're wasting a lot of points to gain very little.

Purple always have slightly better stats than blue of the same level, however also note that sometimes the stats might not be ones which are good for you (for example, it might be for another class, or for another role). If it is a purple with mod slots, you can replace all of the mods which are currently in it with mods with stats that you like, but note then all of the stats will come from the mods, there will be no difference between your purple and any orange of the same weight with the same mods. It would still be a good idea to do it of course if you like the look of the gear.
  23. Even if lowering the CD on Reactive Shield and Adrenaline Rush was that important to you, one of the main problems here is that you have both talented Ion Cell and Plasma Cell. You can only ever use one of these. For example, if damage mitigation is important, then you are probably using Ion Cell. However then spending talent points on Ionic Accelerator does nothing, and you end up spending 5 points for High Friction Bolts because Superheated Plasma does nothing (and the Plasma burn refresh in HFB does nothing). On the other hand, if you're using Plasma Cell, then Neural Overload and Ion Overload will do nothing.
  24. Just ignore them. One problem with the Marauder class is that it has become full of angry bad players who rerolled FOTM, who do not understand how different classes counter each other, and who are terrified at the thought that they might have to reroll to a different FOTM if they are nerfed. It's not worth trying to have a discussion with them. (..and of course, I understand that not all who play any class are the same, but still...)
