  1. I find that numerous times when I PVP and eat some chain stuns, I can continually get stunned. I know that stuns last around 4 seconds, and that you can eat 2 of them which results in 8 seconds before resolve caps and you are supposedly 'immune' for a time, but I find that quite often despite the bar being maxed I am still being stunned. Am I missing something? Or does it like to break on me?
  2. Cool! Thanks for the replies everyone.
  3. I've got a 41 bounty hunter who I PVP'd from 38 to 40 in the hopes that I could get a full set of level 40 PVP gear and I must say, it's amazing compared to what I was wearing...I went from about 200K damage per match to over 300K without any problems. Recently I have started leveling a Vengeance Juggernaut and was curious as to how one progresses into 50 PVP gear? I remember a sticky a while back about getting all orange gear and buying the best mods you can as to avoid being totally crushed when you are a new 50, but the whole warzone and mercenary commendations thing leads me to believe that one could just farm all the comms that they need at a low level and have a full set for the moment they hit 50, if you get what I mean? I'm talking like you would buy a whole bunch of champion commendations at a low level so that once you hit 50 you can pick up the 'best' gear. Any input is appreciated.
  4. Every class in this game can do their roles effectively. Play what appeals the most to you, dont ask other players to tell you. It's better if you enjoy yourself as opposed to playing something that other players said was 'good' and then not enjoying yourself.
  5. I've only got a level 20 vengeance juggernaut, but here is what I find works. Force Charge > Sundering Assault > Force Scream > Vicious Slash > Smash > Sundering Assault > Ravage > Sundering Assault > etc Basically I prefer Force Scream > Smash > the other finisher where you just slice them (sorry, forget name) because it does more damage assuming you used the skill points for improved smash, not to mention its AOE. You have to make sure you stack Sundering Assault to increase all further damage.
  6. Heh. Yeah. I dont want this game to be a dress up simulator, and normally I dont give have an <insert explicative here> about customizing my characters looks or holding true to a way of doing things, but when I have alignment to deal with any my own vision of my character, I want them to fit it at least a little Where does one get that piece?
  7. Crap. It's bugged >.>?! Isnt that the piece that drops off of the droid boss on Black Talon? Because I seem to recall him being there in my runs but I never ran into him once.
  8. Perfect. Actually about to run that right now ^^
  9. Okay. I was just curious. Still going to keep my eyes open of course...but with less hope now xD Your definition of class is mistaken, however. http://www.swtor.com/info/holonet/classes
  10. Title. (I'm also Juggernaut spec if that affects anything) Is there anywhere that I can find some more jedi esque robes for my Sith Warrior? He's going lightside and past the blue saber I feel like I want him to look a bit more 'light side ish' than just that. I saw nothing on the galactic market, so I figured here was the best place to ask , among my fellow warriors.
  11. Sounds good. How about PVP wise? I'm coming from an AP Bounty Hunter - so I am pampered a bit
  12. Thread title. How does the Sith Warrior - Juggernaut fare for the aforementioned categories? I just started one and want to know if it's a good choice ^^ ... Especially the Vengeance spec.
  13. Thanks for all the replies. I was mostly curious for the PVE element, because that was one of the leading factors to my choice.
  14. At first I hated huttball from ALWAYS having to play it in PVP and never getting the other two maps... But I've actually started to prefer it when I realized that the depth and strategy to it goes far past your team being able to stomp the other team. Even if you team sucks in head on fights, nothing says good strategy cant win the game for you.
  15. I got an orange moddable from Cadedmimu if I am correct (Place with the wookie boss who has a flamethrower partway through)
  16. Part of this post made sense... Then it seemed to become ramblings about a science fiction game being unrealistic? Did I miss something?
  17. Essentially, thread title. Are the two specs equal for either specialization? Or would Merc gain some sort of DPS edge due to the additional pistol?
  18. This is what I got to see during my friends class quest... Self explanatory. http://i.imgur.com/jfMW4.jpg
  19. I'll see what happens. I'm kind of partial towards Mako though ... I feel like she's been with me the whole game and that I'd trust her over any of my new companions like Gault (Wish I didnt even have to take him ... wtb working escape pods/airlock for him). But we'll see... I dont know who Blizz is yet and I dont want to spoil anything ^^
  20. I've done all of my class quests up to and including Quesh. My next stop is supposedly Hoth, but I will head there once I have cleared Quesh (Assuming it has anything good in terms of rewards). I will have to see if that is the reason...because everything else I have tried hasnt fixed the issue.
  21. Classes are fine. Changing/Overhauling current specs might be an interesting idea but one would have to consider balances. New races would also be okay, because past voice overs there wouldnt be many changes required. Bottom line is this: Bioware HAS a solid product that has prettymuch everything we are here for and want with the exception of a few areas that are lacking (Namely endgame content and PVP related goodies). Assuming they listen to their player base and work hard at delivering what we are asking for, I see no reason for them to not find the time to introduce extra things or even expansion packs in the future.
  22. I cant for the life of me figure out a solution. I noticed last night it wasnt consistent, and now that I'm on Quesh I am literally getting zero visible affection changes in either direction. I killed some trapped miners which gave me dark side points and Mako could have cared less, or my conversation options to be either a good guy or a complete jerk ... she doesnt care. The only affection changes I have gotten were when I was onboard my ship and chose the right dialogue for class quests. I saw another thread below about a similar issue, but I figured the more "MAKO BUGGED" posts that are seen, perhaps the faster people become aware of it and a solution is found. Anyone else in the same boat? Edit: Does not show gains...Apparently I still get them, but they dont appear onscreen.
