Thread Title. I liked the style, and it has been a 'set' I have seen posted in various pictures which looks pretty cool. My armor right now is off of Dromund Kaas and looks like I'm some hipster jungle fighter (Here's what it looks like http://tor.zamimg.com/torhead/uploads/screenshots/7106.jpg ... not my character though as I dont have an updated screenshot) Of course I'd like to see other stylings too. Anything beats wearing my current set of armor... I was dumb to get rid of my last one.

Uhh... I heard there was the ability to respec in MMO's as of late...Like, since years ago. You seriously went through what is your 3rd character because you didnt like a certain spec o.O? You're nuts.

Well, it sounds like you lack a video card past an onboard? Onboard cards truly, absolutely suck. This game's code isnt even all that optimized (In my opinion) so it makes getting proper performance a task only accomplished through really tweaking the game. For starters, turn down all the graphical settings - especially things like shadows, antialiasing, anisotropic filters, etc. Also try turning down your resolution and closing all background programs that could be taking up resources from your machine. I recommend you go to your local computer store, preferably a custom store (to save money - I typically save hundreds on computer parts a year when I buy from custom stores as opposed to retail) and buy yourself a video card. Ask the people there for a decent one that will work for gaming (make sure to state the game) and is within your price range. I've ran on two video cards less than $200 for the past 5 years without very many issues other than not being able to max out every setting, and I can play any game on the market just fine right now.

Erm. If your ability serves as a channeled and fairly long range AOE like Death From Above, I can only assume they are 100% the same.

As an Advanced Prototype Powertech, do I want one with straight up stats, or one that has the chance to shield me? I can of course see damage vs mitigation but I'm having a hard time deciding. Edit: While you're here, I'm having another conundrum. I have a pair of Orange Greaves, the Hydraulic Press Greaves ( http://www.torhead.com/schematic/cDDEOCW/hydraulic-press-greaves ) Those are my exact 'pants' but the armor value on them, despite having a reflex armor modification in them, it only 25 ... The website shows 254, why dont mine have that? It it bugged?

Hiya. Ignore the forum name (Seems that my ticket was closed but they didn't change the name >.>). I started playing today. I'm experienced with various MMO's over the years, but I have three questions that come to mind. Firstly, what abilities does Tech Power apply to? I notice that my gun always has this on it - would it apply to the rocket shot? Explosive dart? etc? I haven't found anything that specified what it applies to. Second, what is a good method of acquiring Orange items? I'm thinking Flashpoints might be a good idea when I ran one earlier with a friend and he nabbed himself two pieces of orange gear. I also have hutt and kaar commendations which I saw could net me some good rewards if spent properly. Should I invest them into orange gear? Or weapon and armor mods instead? Third, where are the neutral vendors? I remember reading something on PCG a while back that there were neutral vendors added recently, but I can only find light and dark vendors. I am currently going as an Advanced Prototype Powertech. Thanks!
