Nobody said you had to do any of it.. It is all PVE.. In fact 99% of an MMO is PVE.. If you don't like PVE then don't play an MMO.. Go play Battle Front.. That is what you miss.. I like PVE and I want to play PVE.. I just don't want to be forced to play PVP.. And no.. I didn't buy Battle front for that very reason.. The companions are strictly for PVE.. They have no PVP purpose what so ever.. Demanding people to PVP to get a companion is like demanding you to do Ops and HM's to get PVP gear.. It isn't appropriate.. More flawed logic from a PVP'er..

Despite this new system for dialogue, I don't remember where it said that my refusal to duel with him meant I was outright rejecting him from the Alliance.. I feel cheated to some degree after this exchange and not having him my alliance.. If anything I learned that I really don't have a choice and there really aren't options.. Couldn't there have been some big bad monster that would could have killed together as a show of my power?? Perhaps Lana could have come down and talked some sense into him.. Maybe Darth Marr could make a ghostly appearance.. In either case, the dialog was not clear in the slightest and I would like another crack at Xalek..

My achievement is to complete a PVE quest by doing PVE things.. I don't see the problem with that.. Companions are hardly a PVP anything.. They are strictly PVE.. So why must I PVP for a PVE companion?? That would be like forcing your to run Ops and HM's to get your PVP gear.. Kinda stupid isn't it?? Your logic is just a bit flawed.. Just saying..

I like they way it has been for the last 3 years.. Both sides being voiced.. If it isn't broke, then don't fix it.. I do see how the new text format can be better.. Give us more clear options.. But both sides should still be voiced.. Part of what I liked about my character was her voice, and also what about the comments from the companions.. Seems like they are just cutting costs.. Bioware or EA??

Here is a fair option.. NO PVP!!! Give us a PVE quest to get M1-4X and be done with it.. I am getting tired of Bioware attempting to force people to PVP.. If I wanted to PVP, I would.. I would get the gear and put some time into it.. But I don't.. I like the flashpoints and Ops.. All of which is PVE.. Heck there is a GSI daily that forces you to go into a PVP area to do a PVE quest.. For pete sake!! the only fair compromise here is to stop attempting to force people to do PVP.. Just saying.. Asking me to skip a cheevo is not fair nor a compromise..

I say we donate one of the PVP servers and convert it to a PVE server..

It has been said time and time again.. DO NOT FORCE PVP ON PLAYERS THAT DO NOT WANT TO PVP!! Having said that.. In order to do the quest for M1-4X in 4.0, why must I do 20 warzones?? Is there something strange about the concept of PVE?? Do you not see the server populations right now?? All the PVE ones are heavy and sometimes have a queue, all the PVP ones are lightly populated. Notice a pattern there?? People do not like to be forced to play PVP.. Don't do it in a quest.. 20 warzones?? Are you serious??? Why do you keep doing this to your customers?? I am on Harbinger.. I do not wish to PVP.. Please allow me to proceed in the chain to find the other companions or change the one for M1-4X to something other than PVP.. Solution and a compromise.. Drop it down to like 5 or less warzones and no valor requirements.. Better yet.. Don't force anyone to play PVP.. Please fix this.. Thanks..

Ok.. Either you haven't played or you haven't looked around much.. We didn't lose the comms vendors.. They just don't take comms anyhmore.. They take crystals now.. Glowing and Radiant are the new elite and ultimate comms.. So we didn't lose anything in that regard.. Just changed.. The GTN was emptied for the patch.. I got 24 pages of stuff from the GTN.. When I was putting stuff back this morning there were just 3 pages of mounts.. Yes that was a general search for mounts.. Only 3 pages.. Again nothing was removed.. It will take some time for all the stuff to be put back.. Side quests were not removed.. You just don't have to do them.. Like the 12xp that everyone is crying is gone, you are complaining that the side quests are not as important as before?? I am done here,.. It just seems like you want to complain just to complain.. How about you play the patch and post back when you actually know what has changed and how..

I don't get it.. I started my download at about 6am.. 2 hours before the servers were to be back up.. My download took about 10 minutes.. Servers were up about 6:45am or so and I have been playing every since.. Wife started her download at 6pm.. Patching corrupted her game and I uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch.. Took about 45 minutes for fresh install and patch.. By 7pm she was up and playing.. 19 hours??? I just don't get it?? No offense but are you on like AOL or something?? Sorry had to ask??

Treek has a very limited vocabulary.. In fact it is so low she says one thing while in combat.. I had to go back to using another companion because of it..

Ok.. Start Rant!!! I am very upset that I have played through chapter 9 and I still don't know where my companions are.. Who is going to be the Herald for Qyzen?? Who is going to train Nadia?? Tharan and Holiday??? Meh... They can stay lost.. Can I keep Scorpio as a ship droid?? I don't even know if I am going to keep the companions I have now as it is?? Should I give them gifts to earn influence??? Or wait till I find my old ones?? End Rant!! From what I have played,, This game is a kick in the pants and I am loving it.. Still getting used to the some of the changes.. Like the new companion system for one.. But over all the story is totally awesome.. I just love playing it and being a part of it.. Has anyone answered the question if Lana is even going to be a permanent companion?? Just asking cause I haven't seen any info on that either way.. But if she isn't permanent, then that might be why we can't change her looks.. What about Scorpion, Koth, Yuun, Theron, and other temp companions we have had or will have??

The issue here is that most people are simply missing the point.. The OP is right in a sense, although he could have done better to explain it.. Example: All the men and women in the military have no level.. If anyone picks up a weapon they would do the same damage as anyone else with the same weapon.. Because there is no level in the military and rank is only a title.. The problem is the leveling system itself.. Originally it was designed as a goal orientated system to give players something to do.. You start at level 1 and now you have to do a whole bunch of stuff to reach max level.. That is all fine until you think about the content.. The missions you did at level 6 and meaningless at level 45.. Thus the problem.. Content doesn't change with level.. Nor does it allow people of varying levels to play together in the same content,.. Every MMO has to deal with this issue.. Keeping older content relevant is not an easy task.. Bioware is simply trying to fix the inherent problem with the leveling system.. Which is to make us all the same level when we enter said content.. Or remove the leveling system all together and no more leveling at all.. I doubt the last one would even be considered.. Nor should it.. The solution Bioware has come up with isn't bad.. It just means that the days of plowing through low level stuff to farm things for various reasons is essentially over.. I am not happy about that.. One of the perks of having a high level toon is being able to do that.. I hope they would add other opportunities for farming.. But over all it would be nice to go into low level stuff and get thing relevant to my character at any level.. Does it need to be mandatory?? No.. Should it be?? I don't think it really matters.. Except to say that in order to keep the playing field fair for all players, it either needs to be mandatory or not have it at all.. Having it as an option is just a stupid idea in my view..

I would have to agree.. The 12xp has just helped me get my very first lvl 50 sith character.. I know, I know.. But yup.. She leveled to 50 today.. I now have a little level 50 sithy.. It is nice to just do the class quests and do the story of your character.. The side quests are such a distraction.. Again this would be subscriber only.. A nice perk that might attract a few more subscribers..
