Thus the issue that I am surprised more PVP'ers aren't talking about.. This isn't good for PVP either.. I guess some are to busy with symantics and what is comsmetic or not.. Or worse, trying to decide why someone else wants a companion..

You are forced to PVE because you bought and subscribe to an MMO that is over 99% PVE.. Feel free to cancel and go else where if you feel you are really being forced.. You want a PVP story?? Have you heard of Battlefront?? Might want to check into it.. Yup it has some PVP.. But mostly as a side game,, Kinda like the space missions.. That is how it is in most of the big MMO's.. Sorry. I doubt it is going to change either.. Just my opinion though..

That isn't entirely true.. What companion is unlocked after M1-4X?? It was my understanding they are setup in a tier.. You can't move on to the next tier until you have an outcome with the previous companion.. Being cosmetic or not is irrelevant.. And it is forcing regardless.. I am being told to play PVP against my will in order to unlock this companion.. That is simply wrong.. Again cosmetic or not and you have no right to decide why someone does or does not want unlock him or play PVP.. Reasons are irrelevant.. You are just attempting to justify your view and there is no justification for this.. Bioware is completely wrong for forcing us to do 20 ware zones to unlock M1-4X.. There is no argument here and there is no other point of view.. We are being force to do PVP to obtain a PVE objective.. Like I said, it would be like them moving all the ranked PVP gear into the HM Ops.. Then you would be forced to do PVE to gain a PVP objective.. And that would be just as wrong..

You say my points are wrong and you have totally missed the point of the entire thread.. We do not want to be forced to do PVP quests to get a PVE companion or do a PVE quest.. All this quest is doing is trying force more people into the starving warzones.. I see it all the time how people complain about how long it takes for a warzone to pop.. Let's be honest here.. That really is the only reason to do it.. Well, a change in the attitude in the PVP community would go along way to helping that.. But that will take an act of the force for that to happen..

Not elitism.. Just PVE facts.. Go look at the server populations yourself.. There is a reason why there are vastly more people on the PVE servers than the PVP ones.. Saw the same thing in the Beta.. I can remember the beta forums, PVP'ers used to beg people to make toons on the PVP server.. What PVP'ers don't realize is this attitude of elitism and the idea that you can force PVP onto other people, drives people away.. Then you throw in the entire idea of ganking and corpse camping, or griefing, depending on where you are from.. Who wants do deal with that.. You PVP'ers feel it is your right because it is PVP.. Answer?? GO onto a PVE server.. Which they did.. In large numbers.. So call it what you want.. I am just stating fact..

Again you are missing the issue.. It isn't about who can or can't do something.. It is about being forced to do something we don't feel we should have to do.. When they move all your PVP gear into Hard Mode ops, promise me you won't make any threads complaining about it..

I think a large element to the game is lost when our characters and our companions no longer speak.. I understand the new style gives them more room to give us better options.. I am down with that.. But our characters should still speak as with our companions.. Part of their charm is their voice and what they say.. If it isn't broke don't fix it..

Just by looking at the difference between the PVE and PVP server populations this will never happen.. Doing this will drive a lot of people from playing this game.. Nobody likes to be forced to play PVP.. Yet since the beta, both Bioware and PVP'ers have been trying.. Your idea will not happen.. It forces people to PVP and that is not a good thing.. People don't like it.. Nothing more to say..

That is another issue that I think bioware has missed.. A lot of this stuff is just going to be murder to repeat.. All the Star Fortress HM's to save the planets.. All the heroics to get the supply things.. Heck just to get Who wants to get C2 his mats for 10 weeks?? And why isn't he on my ship already??? I made a hut smell good, that has to be worth something.. I still want my in game calendar.. Now that some quests are going to require events.. I hope Bioware knows that this is a nightmare waiting to happen.. How many people are going to be crowding the Rakghoul tunnels trying to do that quest?? What a mess that will be..

What part of the dialogue was not clear or dialogue issue do you not understand?? Also the dialogue for one class or another is different.. The dialogue for a sith inquisitor is different than that of a Consular shadow?? Now read your post and think about advance class?? The choice needs to be clearly stated.. Have a nice day..

That doesn't tell me not in my alliance.. Nor do I remember it saying that.. I just remember the option to duel or not to duel.. In either case, for a choice like that.. It needs to be clear with no room for error.. Or they should still offer some backdoor means to get him anyways should you want to.. This is a game after.. Perhaps make it a little harder the 2nd time around.. In any case, something like this should not be a permanent choice unless the player makes it one.. Like to kill him..

It may be different for you because of your class.. I was a consular Shadow at the time.. But yes.. It was a single question, there was no warning and he was gone..
