  1. If the people he played against were any sort of competent, only 1/3 of his smashes would ever land. Good luck getting 300k then!
  2. You need to take the 2 points out of seeping wound, and put them in subjugation. 6 second interrupt in pvp is overpowered. I also would take the 2 points from empowerment, and 1 from cloak of carnage to put into hemorrhage. Then take the two points from Enraged Charge and put them into defensive forms. Cloak of Carnage can only be activated every 3 seconds, so 2 points is a waste. Snares dont work against bosses, and crippling slash is a much better snare for pvp. Hemorrhage is a 15% base dmg increase to bleeds now, we need that. I personally prefer defensive forms over enraged charge, because internal and elemental damage reduction is priceless, and generating 2 free fury every gcd from recieved damage is awesome for keeping berserk up - a necessity for survival, and dps.
  3. I don't understand how your healing numbers have gone down. Our healing, even group wide, is based upon the number of crits you receive, and the recipients maximum HP. If you pop berserk, your party gets 1% of their hp per tick; if they have 16,000 hp max, they get 160. The numbers should have remained static for healing.
  4. Well, like I said, I'm itemized for power, so my crits have gone up, and my sustained damage has gone down. I still hit like a damn truck in pvp tho. It still feels like I kill just as fast as before, so I really dont think it has hit that hard. You are right though, it's not a dps increase, it's a nerf.
  5. The dps drop, for me, is about 600 damage over 6 seconds (hint: It's bigger for me then anyone else here probably, because my armor is all itemized for power). Not a big deal. 300 damage off the rupture DoT, and 100 off each stack of deadly saber. That's 100 dps lost over 6 seconds, and bleeds have twice that in cooldown. Total drop ~ 50dps. Not a big deal. In exchange -> my burst rotation appears to be a bit stronger. Using berserk is very nice now. The spec isn't ruined. It's fine, still better then Rage or Carnage by a long shot. GG.
  6. No, they do not. WoW sets the standard for an MMO because that had 12 million subscribers. MLG only toured in WoW because the games popularity itself guaranteed MLG a lot of spotlight. WoW pvp is by no means the standard, and in reality, I would rate the game very, very low. I think king of MMO pvp goes to Guild Wars for best competitive, instanced system, and most balanced classes, and DAoC for the best world pvp system. WoW's pvp is an afterthought, not very well balanced, and hardly even worth mentioning at any discussion involving serious, competitive pvp. The fact that WoW's pvp is outdone by a free to play game is just lulz.
  7. I to would appreciate a rollback on the current UI toolbar. I logged into a pvp game and was immediately overwhelmed by the bright, white boxes around my skills, and the flashing of the UI when the GCD was active. I'm fine with you guys leaving the current noticeable effect for skills that are on cooldown, but please remove the effect when the global is in effect. Thanks.
  8. Sit back for a moment, and think about what the Jedi Order is really about. The Jedi profess to be an order dedicated to upholding justice. This means that the Jedi need to be impartial jurors in every decision, because justice is oftentimes clouded by the very emotions we have as human beings. The Jedi are often called upon to act as neutral diplomats, to deliver terms of treatise, and to act as the Judge and Jury in disputes between individuals, groups, and governments. I confess, I have yet to play a Jedi, but I just started a warrior. I'm hoping to get a good taste of what the storyline is about, and I hope that Bioware has observed the traditional role of the Jedi. Anyway, the whole point of separating yourself from personal emotion, is to achieve a neutral and balanced mentality. One cannot be a proper juror or judge without first being completely neutral. Cases should be decided on facts, not emotion, and this is what the Jedi understand, and strive to achieve. Oftentimes the Jedi are called to be defenders' of the peace as well, and I think this is where a lot of the Jedi turn to the dark side. Combat and war provoke power emotions, and these emotions cloud their judgement. So, I think the Jedi separating themselves from emotion, and removing earthly desires from their mentality is important, powerful, and very respectful. Not everyone can handle it, and those that cannot, turn to the dark side. My first character was a light side sith, who in my opinion, embraces emotion. Rather then separating herself from emotion, my sith embraces the fundamentally positive emotions. Love, compassion, pity and so forth. I think that is the biggest difference between a Jedi, and a Light Side Sith. One embraces positive emotion to affect a positive change, and the other is a neutral observer, who is called upon to fairly judge matters of debate.
  9. As a marauder I am very comfortable pinning down and killing any sorc and operative healers, geared or not. I have a real hard time killing Commando healers, I can pin them down and stop them from healing their group mostly, but I just cannot kill them without an extremely extended 1v1. The problem is that, depending on their build, some of the healing commandos can dish out some impressive damage as well; if that's the case, I generally have to save my interrupt for their damage skills, to prevent incoming damage. I have a couple other skills I can use as interrupts, but I usually try to save them for when the commando goes below 50%. Anyway, before I go on a tandem. They're much, much harder to kill then Sorc or Operative healers, and I feel that they do not sacrifice anything for that increased durability.
  10. The easy fix is to create re-usable pvp stims. Buy them with commendations, useable only in pvp. GG.
  11. Honestly, healers get way more MVP votes over time, and they also win more matches; simply because of the way warzones are set up. I think that makes up for the couple medals you miss. Healers do get screwed on medals though, and the solution is to add 1-2 more healing medals. Perhaps a close call medal, for saving someone who was below 25% or something.
  12. You don't have to dodge smash as an Anni marauder, just saying. Force Camo absorbs all of the damage, and if you miss a single smash, you will lose. Just sayin. Like I said, the burst pattern is predictable. Save defensive cooldowns for the smash, plus, I run -30% aoe dmg anyway. If you throw a smash into my Cloak, that's -50% dmg already. if you throw it into saber ward, there's a good chance it will miss. If you throw it into camo, I will absorb it. I will save my defense cooldowns for the predictable burst, and I will mitigate it, and you will lose because your sustained damage and jousting are seriously at a disadvantage compared to Anni. Rage is just an AOE smash, 1 trick pony. Anyone can predict it, anyone can mitigate it, anyone can beat it. Even mercs. You're welcome to play it, I'm just telling you. The spec is predictable, and will never hold up in serious competitive play.
  13. I'm really not sure what you guys are asking for then. We are the best 1v1 class, and we make half decent ball carriers. We do excellent damage, have good defensive capabilites. It doesn't matter what class you play, if you get focused, you will die. If we had a legit stun, we would be grossly imbalanced. If a marauder could stun you, and then drop a 6k smash, or drop bleeds + annihilate, or gore + scream/ravage...you would die before the stun ended. I do good when I have no heals on my team, and I do outstanding when I bring a guild healer with me, with all 3 specs. I just dont think we need a serious buff.
  14. I'm not usually one to post screens, but generally my games look a little like this: http://i.imgur.com/xzLkv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/NSKAg.jpg I think the class is fine, does well. In fact, outside of huttball, I think we may be borderline overpowered.
  15. ...Predictable burst pattern, easy to dodge burst, brings no group support, lowest sustained damage of all 3 specs, and mediocre control compared to Carnage. Honestly, the spec is absolute garbage against anyone who has any sort of situational awareness. I've played all 3 specs extensively, and Rage is definitely my least favorite. You're entitled to think whatever you want, but I promise, a Rage spec will never beat a Anni spec, or even a Carnage spec, who knows what they are doing.
  16. You cant use a drink right after a vanish, even on an Assassin. If they had time to use one, you did to.
  17. They do energy and internal damage. Energy is mitigated by armor, internal is not.
  18. They're fixing it next patch.
  19. Try warrior. Commandos/Mercs are fish food, the weakest class in the game if you stick a single melee on them. The game classes are balanced fine, there are just way too many whiners. There is not a single class I feel helpless against, ever.
  20. 3k - Oh wait, I just interrupted said merc..so That's 0. Oh, you want to cast something else? Force Charge interrupt - 0 dmg. Oh, tracer missile is back up, my interrupt is off cd now. Oh, merc is dead now btw. Get some melee on your team.
  21. From the warrior point of view, and subsequently keeping Jaesa Wilsaam light side, she believes that you are on a revolutionary path within the Sith Empire. You're working your way up, to affect a positive change from within, not necessarily the downfall. Sometimes when you make choices that attack the Republic directly, Jaesa will disagree with your decision; however, she also confesses not to know your personal agenda. When I first decided to go LS, it was because of the sith code itself. Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me. The Sith Code speaks of passion as a strength, and I think the Star Wars developers have taken that to a huge extreme with the racial hatred, sexual abuse, and overall hatred of the Sith Empire. My personal character believed in the power of passion; but not necessarily the negative passions. Love, compassion, pity, etc are all emotions that conflict with the Jedi Code, and therefore fall under the Sith Code. So, imo, the Sith Code perfectly encompasses light side sith as well; I'm not sure why sith are so extremely motivated through hatred. LS Sith also do not follow the Jedi philosophy throughout the game, there were very few times where my character pursued justice. I foudn that the light side choices generally had nothing to do with seeking justice, which is what the Jedi Code is all about. The jedi are not good guys, they are actually neutral, much like a jury in a courtroom. They make judgements based on pure information, not passions such as pity. So, from my p.o.v, the LS sith is just someone who decides to embrace the positive passions of humanity, and not necessarily the negative ones. Of course, I'm no expert so perhaps I'm just wrong
  22. I used Jaesa when I got her until the very end, and did the fight w/ Baras solo 1v1. Just make sure on the harder/boss pulls you send her in first. She'll tank for a bit, you'll pull aggro, and if you sare going to die, camo drop aggro, and she can tank it with what HP she has left.
  23. I tend to run something a little more like this for anni: http://db.darthhater.com/skill_calc/sith_warrior/marauder/#::e2f2e4fe10f2efef3df4ef26 Carnage: http://db.darthhater.com/skill_calc/sith_warrior/marauder/#::f14e2f3e8fe3fef2e4f6ef4ef8 I don't usually take Overwhelm for Carnage anymore, simply because of the stupid ravage glitch now, where the skill glitches, does no damage, and you're stunned for the duration. I generally only use the ability against a melee for two quick strikes, or against someone who is already cc'd. Wasn't worth the two points for me.
  24. Accuracy after 100% does not increase armor penetration, not sure where people are pulling this from. Accuracy over 100% decreases your opponents defense rating, which is a stat on your character profile. Defense is your chance to parry, deflect, etc etc. By increasing your accuracy to 110% you pretty much nullify all the base defense ratings that every class gets (hint: Inquisitors start with a base 10%). Don't go any higher then 110%, ever, it's a waste of stats. For most Marauder builds you should be focusing mostly on power and surge as mainline stats; we have a lot of guaranteed crits. Accuracy comes with power, and crit comes with surge. Try to lean a little more towards power, but keep some surge.
