  1. In case anyone missed it, moddable Techblades in 1.2! http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=3406372#post3406372
  2. Mostly, the top Republic AC is 6th overall. The stance they've taken is they don't want to add something to faction or class to make people feel like they have to reroll in order to be competitive. They don't want the Boba Fett fan feeling like he has to roll Smuggler; they want people to play the character they like. So instead, they're trying to accommodate mechanics to handle population imbalances (like adding more same-faction WZ). The superbuff is probably part of this as well.
  3. Sorc is #1 and Merc is #2 AC. Inquisitor is #1 base class, and BH is #3. (PT drags it down being the least played AC Imp side).
  4. If it's not linked to the GTN on the main fleet, I will not be buying it due to the Network Effect.
  5. You're spreading misinformation. Another hard hitting ability -> Shock. The two hit at the ACTUAL same time. It also doesn't matter what the cast time of the other ability is or if you have cast pushback during the other ability. They hit at the same time. Not at maybe somewhere around the same time that you have with the psuedo-burst of project.
  6. It was from the summit. And Project has been confirmed. http://www.pcgamer.com/previews/the-old-republic-legacy-system-handson/
  7. At the summit they said Synthweaving, Armstech and Armormech will make augments. Slicing will gather the components.
  8. The bot will also sell things like gear for the ship droids that improves their crafting. I imagine they might also be a mash up of medical droid vendors and crew skill vendors.
  9. From what I understand, the cash options are alternatives to leveling an alt, not to leveling legacy. eg If you want a Sith Pureblood JK, you can level a Sith Pureblood to 50 OR level a human smuggler to legacy 8 and pay 1.5 million credits. The cash on the other items seems to just be a credit sink.
  10. The Consular version is only usable with a companion.
  11. Maybe it's related to the number of classes already available to each species.
  12. You mean it's not an attempt to balance faction population by splitting up the Imps?
  13. No.
  14. Project too. If your target stealths, the rock will just hover in the air for a few seconds, then disappear.
  15. Except that it's only usable during your heroic moment, so more like a 20-30 min cooldown (CD on the heroic moment will be shortened by having max affection). So it's not something you'll be hitting every 30 seconds for speed; it would be a single-use gap opener/closer during tough fights. Given that, is Force Speed really something people want?
  16. Some dealerships will let you do that.
  17. In addition to the procs as stated above, channeled heals also have the benefit of applying some of the heal immediately. This means you could apply 3 ticks in 2 seconds before your target gets hit again but Deli might land too late. This is also helpful if you have to move or get stunned/knocked back; you still get a partial heal whereas Deli is interrupted before applying any heal.
  18. It may be a waste of time short term, but people learning not moving with the expectation that the healer will just compensate will be a far greater waster of time over the long run.
  19. At the summit they said it is something they're looking into because they want people watching the middle of the screen, not squinting at the bottom.
  20. That's a player issue, not a tool issue. Trying to ban a tool because some players will misuse it will not stop said players from finding some other way to be a jerk. Tools are good. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=333373&highlight=14k+hps
  21. If you don't like repeating content, you're playing the wrong genre. Whether you're repeating quests, flashpoints/dungeons, ops/raids, or warzones/battlegrounds, MMOGs are built on repeating content. The only alternative is to quit and jump to another game after you've run through the content once.
