  1. First thing I thought, the cover nerf, it's too much for the dps trees of scoundrels (maybe it was intended for sawbones). Bioware should add a talent, maybe un the upper part of both dps trees, that allows cover to have the same effects before the nerf.
  2. One with poor dps skills, that's for sure
  3. I see 3 main problems with Commando/merc healers. 1) Very tight ammo/heat management. I don't ask for the god mode of 1.0, but something among the lines of diagnostic scan of scoundrels, maybe getting a bit of ammo everytime a hammershot crits? and some free heals to deal with the interrupt hell on PvP, maybe by lowering to half the Cooldown of bacta infusion. I don't ask to be instant, but the current cooldown is looong. 2) Most of the skills can (and will) be interrupted. Since people learned to interrupt, casting classes are at loss on PvP, and some PvE fight with intense knockbacks and interrupts. and we are not very mobile healers, the only heal we can throw at the moment on the run, is kolto bomb and bacta infusion. 3) in Ops, we could use an AoE stronger skill, or at least, a HoT like kolto probe that can be casted on various members of the group.
  4. Male Imperial agent, hands down. Wicked hot british accent, followed close by Male Sith warrior. On the pub side all the voices seem so generic to me (I haven't played consular though).
  5. People were asking this for some time, so well done bioware!
  6. I'm all up for it. when I get to grind obroan someday with my scoundrel, I'll get a set for my merc/mando healers when they become viable, or better yet, I may level one from zero again, only by PvP.
  7. I actually wanna play and do something on the battlefield instead of going to medcenter every 10 seconds of fight. So my bet is to buff the other two healing classes to scouperative level (mercmando healers need a complete re-design. Since people learned to interrupt, it's been a hell for these classes, and ammo/heat management does not help).
  8. Scoundrel healer without guard = dead meat unless the opponent don't grow a brain and don't focus the healer with at least 2 dps.
  9. let me guess, another case of an operative healer outhealing 4 dps focusing on them? if those were smash maras/sents, well, I am happy
  10. And that's the core of the problem. The PvP population is already small, to add a faction imbalance issue to the mix.
  11. I grew tired of corso, so I replaced him with risha. Not a tank, but it will be more fun with her dps and me as healer.
  12. man, there are many factors besides the fact he's an operative: the lvl +50 guys on this bracket are like gods (specially if they are geared). Even with bolster they still have an edge, he could be guarded, off healed (there was another healer class there? like sorc or mercenary?), he may have used WZ medpacks, rolled his way out of damage? remember that the other 3 guys will troll you as well if you take too long to kill him. Maybe your level was 30 something... I'm lvl 43, and the +50 guys sneeze at my scoundrel if I'm not guarded. I die in 4 seconds if I'm not guarded. Now If I get guarded...well, fun time for me trolling the imps
  13. Let me get this straight: 4 sents focused on one healer and didn't manage to kill him? it seems you got trolled at the end
  14. Comeback stories seems to happen to people who don't quit no matter how bad is the WZ situation, is kinda a reward for being there. Maybe my stories are not as epic as yours, being on the unranked 30-54 bracket, but still....is the only bracket I have access by now. Mine happened yesterday, on Novare Coast. Starting the match, the imps took the east and south bankers quickly, beating us to a pulp everytime we get near the south one (and me being a scoundrel healer I had a big mark on my head, when I got near 3 people instantly got over me). We were able to take south, but the match was like 18% pubs (us) 54% imps. Someone on chat called an inc from west bunker and a couple of us were preparing to reinforce them when suddenly another one says (on caps): HOLD SOUTH, DON'T GO WEST!! we retracted and when we got there 4 imps were on it's way to south, we managed barely to hold up, so the guy who told us to hold on tell us to defend south no matter what, we could still win this. west got attacked a couple of times, but we didn't move from south, and managed to repel 4 heavy imp offensives, somehow I managed to heal unguarded, I was lucky that they weren't focusing on me anymore. And at the end, WE WON!!! that was a good comeback. The guy who told us to stay was ecstatic, lol. we voted him as the MVP by majority. Ah, and I had a close call today on Voidstar. On first round, we managed to hold imps to blow the very first door, but in second round they seemed to do exactly the same, we couldn't get any of the doors open. but, 15 seconds before the end, someone managed to plant the explosive on left door (I was on the heavy fight on right door), and we won and nobody in the group couldn't believe it lol.
  15. Damn, I need to step up my play then and train with those godly scoundrels and operative healers you meet, because I don't feel godly at all (scoundrel lvl 42). Maybe if I get a guard, I can hold up a little longer, but unguarded I'm dead meat in seconds, specially if I had an assasin popping out from nowhere...then I see my health bar going to half instantly. And no, I refuse to use cover, specially since it will get nerfed on 2.5 . I don't want to end using it as a crutch.
  16. Damn, i hate sins, every time one pop besides me, I see half of my health bar going down, and if there is another dps nearby, my scoundrel healer is dead meat. So much for the "god like" status of the scouperative healers everybody claims around here
  17. As a learning n00b on this PvP thing (this is my first PvP toon, a scoundrel healer), I have many, many oops (or "terribad") moments to share, specially on my bane, huttball: 1) Huttball. Me stealthing to the enemy's goal line, teammate with the ball near, and I write: "pass!!". then I see him dying, nad shortly after that: "Unstealth first you retard!!!!" . Damn, I didn't unstealth first before the pass, argh I was so ashamed, I write an apology with my face all red on shame, and my team all over laughing. 2) Again, on Huttball: Me with the ball, half team on goal line asking me to pass, and what do I do? run straight from the pit to goal line, without passing at all (god bless that sage healer beside me). we won by that goal, and no one yelled me, but they should have because they were in better position to score. After the WZ, I check my abilities, and finally find the "pass" skill on my powers screen. Red face of shame all over again. 3) I joined a mid way arena, wich my team lost the first round before. in the second round I got CCed almost at the beginning, and tell to myself to not waste my break CC ability, so I wait to wear it off, but meanwhile the other team focuses on each one of my team (except me), and there I was, standing there looking pretty without realizing that I had TWO CCs effects on me, so I basically let my whole team die because I was a greedy sob. They didn't berate me but I realized the truth seconds before the results screen came. The most humillating part, me, the healer, was the one who died last. yes, I know, I'm terribad indeed. Oh well, part of the learning process I think.
  18. I would have helped, in fact, it's my obligation as a pub healer to annoy imps as most as I can, and to heal my teammates of course. No matter what WZ is, I always help my teammates, even if they are winning by their own. the faster they win, the more gains for my team.
