  1. Over the past month the activity in my guild has been abysmal and most of us have been holding back from unsubbing for the sole reason that there will be some type of competitive pvp. In my mind today I had multiple thoughts of reactivating my WoW account and playing it, which I am very sure numerous other people have been contemplating. I am hopeful that this will be resolved very soon, but my patience has been dwindling this past month. Just voicing my concern as a subscriber from a competitive pvp guild.
  2. I have the same problem. It seems like it has a 1 second cast time before it initiates.
  3. Haha ya it is pretty intense unfortunately I only have tank gear
  4. In terms of mobility I have zero problems with force and guardian leap. Typically I always have enough focus to interrupt every time. The cool thing about guardians is that you can lock someone out using interrupt, then cc, then interrupt. You may not be high enough level to do that. When I was leveling I was defense mostly and I agree it was very rough lower level as bh and inq did s boat load of damage early, but if you stick with it you will blossom. In my experience when you are leveling the focus tree gives you quite a bit of damage. I have seen force sweep crit for 3.5k.
  5. I find that guard is a very dynamic ability and needs to be switched based on who is taking damage. A good tip is to unguard after combat so you can quickly guard who needs it without using 2 gcd's. Also, it is very important to bladestorm every time it is up to have the shield buff on. Guardian leap and taunts are so important to keep on cd since you also take less damage from guard. We have a boat load of cc. between push, stasis, hilt strike, and awe you can peel for days. Typically when I engage a group of enemies I leap to one target, awe, place guard if I haven't already, freezing force, then challenging call once they come out of mezz, and guardian leap to their focus target... very effective. Furthermore, you can effectively lock out a healer for a very long time. Interrupt, cc, then interrupt again can be all the time you need to drop a target. Lastly, you have a bit of burst with guardian slash and dispatch. If you are assisting you can put a full stack of sunders and help drop targets. Leap, bladestorm, sundering strike, guardian slash, then dispatch is quite a bit of damage. It takes a little bit of practice and gear, but your role is clearly defined and you will become invaluable.
  6. As a defense guardian you have a great deal of mobility with force leap and guardian leap. Typically my first priority id to put guard on whomever they are focusing, use aoe mezz, aoe snare, then aoe taunt. As a tank you have many ways to peel for anyone that needs to kite with hilt strike, force stasis, and force push. My play style is to prioritize guard, then taunt, then cc, and finally you can help the assist train. usually blade storm, sundering strike, guardian strike and dispatch when you can. I am mid range in damage and top protection every game. It is very effective. Reg - 50 Defense Guardian - Warriors of the Shadow
