  1. I've played this game off and on since it came out. I enjoy having the option of the 12X. I rerolling all 8 classes, and to repeat the planetary quests for all 8 is tedious at best. I'm also enjoying the storylines for each class much better than the first time I played them. No interruptions of menial quests.to get in my way.
  2. One thing to consider, your advice may not be good. I've seen a lot auf advice in the game and there is a lot of bad advice given. In a chat what makes your advice better than someone else you don't know.
  3. My first death that I can remember in the game was a glitch. Traveling in a taxi on Coruscant my JK arrived at the station, jumped out and went through the floor falling to her death. I can recall going ***?!?
  4. For those of us who have been around since the beginning, I find being able to only play the class quests refreshing, don't have to slog through every quest on every planet just to keep up with the leveling of the enemies.
  5. That's what I thought. The typical doom/gloom its so bad, get out now thread which rolls around every so often.
  6. Took me more than a few posts to understand what the OP was saying. Basically if your not on Harbinger AND Tython 1, you have no problems. I was thinking it was a game-wide problem at first.
  7. I know all that, been a sub. since the beginning, just never understood the need to get pissy over it.
  8. The problem with history is there is a lot missing, many rulers we never knew about. To say its never happened is to say you know everything about history.
  9. I find very few things are even worth rolling for, and those that do, meh, can live without them. Never understood the need for people to get all pissy over such things.
  10. They are trying to find a new hamster.
  11. I'll admit, I have companions I like when using cut scenes, and other companions for combat. Take the SW, I prefer Vette or Jaesa for the cut scenes, but Quinn when I'm in battle.
  12. I used adaptive armor for my recent Sith, but I only used chest, legs and boots, along with two lightsabers. If I wanted to change all mods it was 55 planetary credits. Each armor and weapon used 11 (7+2+2). If you don't have enough its easy enough to get, warzone, go back and do previous planet heroics, etc. I played from level 20 to now level 51 using this armor.
  13. I have to agree with Quinn. Now Vette, she strikes me as a gal who would swing either way. That whole former Twi'lek slave thing going on there.
  14. This made me chuckle, especially considering he continued to 'argue' for the next 30-40 minutes after this post.
  15. As a straight guy, I usually play female characters, especially if its a third person view which I use. I haven't completed a single romance, just can't get into romancing a guy. The real thing that is a bit weird to me. There is no problem with romance between races, yet there seems to be a problem with romance between two people of the same sex. I don't get that. (Personally I'd love to have my female Sith Warrior romance Vette.)
  16. The damage reduction didn't bother me, but the reduction of radius of damage did. Now after the first tic it knocks the enemy out of range to the rest of the attack is usless. I'll admit I almost never use DFA in pvp. People see the target on the ground and run out of range which makes it usless.
  17. Nope, I meant fun, not easier to play. Fun doesn't not mean easy, as I've had a few fights that while hard were fun. If 'm fighting a strong enemy I should not feel like I'm fighting an elite. I've had several fights where I've had an easier time against an elite than against three normal enemies. I've also found that being a malee player in a moving fight (in pvp) is less fun. One thing I miss is a knockdown power. Force push is all right, but I find in pve many times I end up pushing the enemy into another group of enemies or off a cliff and the enemy doesn't die (that one is annoying).
  18. I've started playing a BH, Smuggler and Trooper, each so far seem easier than the JK. I haven't had many problems with JK in pve (some in pvp but that's a different story) but, to me, I should have the same difficulty in all classes, but I find the JK by far the most difficult.
  19. I used both T7 and Kira, both are good, if you say one is better than the other then you don't know how to use that companion! Right now I switch between doc and Kira depending on my mood.
  20. The OP actually makes sense if you've played and leveled up classes. I've leveled up a trooper and bounty hunter and to be honest, those feel a lot more enjoyable to play. (One shouldn't have to level to 50 to have moments where they enjoy the game.)
  21. In pvp, its a combination of how good the players are on your team and the team you are against. I'm also sorry to say that when playing my BH in pvp, I love seeing JK, eaasy kills. Sorry, but it's true, when you back up and continue firing and the JK can't fire back, makes for a very easy kill. And when they can close, usually I have walked back into a group of my own allies and its a quick team kill. Sorry, but JK do need something to pull an enemy near to kill and when inside a mob something to knock them all back.
  22. Truth is, a game should be fun on all levels, not just once you reach a certain level. You spend how many hours trying to level to 50 the game should be fun in both pve and pvp, nut just when you reach level 50. Personally, you bought the game, spent money to play it, you do have the right to complain, brag and whatever. Don't like it, dont read them! it's that simple!
  23. And you shouldn't have to wait until level 50 to begin to have fun with a class? Thank you and have a nice day!
  24. I too had a hard time with this one. I must have died twenty times before finally (barely) beating the first one, using everything I had. The second one I only died once and the third I beat easily with over 50% of my health (and almost full companion health) without using several defensive abilities. So, I can't say why one was easier than the others. What's really strange to me is the one fight that was easiest I did the least on.
  25. I can't say the game feels easier with doc than kira. Though I find that while resting after fighting with kira that's when I send companions on crafting missions or check inventory and other mundane tasks that I won't have to do if I used doc.
