  1. Yeah it's usually only up when PTS is active. PTS is not currently available, not sure when it's going to be.
  2. We don't need more cc. Will this increase the resolve it generates so it'll straight up white bar the target like the Powertech Enhanced Paralytics utility does? Because if it does then it's bad for PvP and pretty useless in PvE. But if it doesn't then it's OP (and super annoying) in PvP and still pretty useless in PvE. So basically this one is bad either way.
  3. So bubble stun (3s cc) -> less than 12s of hitting the sorc (assuming healer with the 15s deionize) -> bubble stun -> unnatural preservation -> bubble stun (6s of cc) -> less than 12s of hitting the sorc -> bubble stun (3s cc)-> less than 12s of hitting the sorc -> bubble stun -> unnatural preservation -> bubble stun (6s of cc)? Please no. Bubble stun only gives 300 resolve so it can hit 4 times in a row before you're white barred. Or twice + hard stun or whirlwind. So basically every 30ish seconds you can get hit with a 10-14s stun chain. Can we either adjust how resolve works or stop adding more slows and stuns to the game? Please? Again, either adjust resolve or stop adding more slows/stuns. It's not fun!
  4. I have it and I'm fine with it being offered again. I think you should have to sub for a certain amount of time for it though. I don't care how long but for some reason the idea of story content being put on the CM bothers me so just requiring a sub seems like the better way to do it to me.
  5. I have noticed the site being slower the last few days but today is the first day where it takes forever to load and then gives the maintenance page. However I can bypass it by typing in "https://www.swtor.com" instead of just "www.swtor.com". If I use the https it loads fast, if I don't it sits trying to load. So I don't know if something was changed with that recently.
  6. I did the Heroic 4s some more and recorded them. Hugo seems to work okay as far as I can tell, although he only leapt on a hostage once and I was able to heal it. Not sure if there's supposed to be more to that mechanic. I think he maybe needs a health buff or something though. I solo'd him as a level 70 258 geared operative healer with an influence 50 ranged dps companion. My companion was pretty much the only one doing damage while I sat and healed and he still died pretty quickly. Here's video of that one: https://youtu.be/bkIp8AuC9uk. Yarvok I did a few times. The trash inside seems to despawn after a day or something. I had attempted to kill Yarvok yesterday but died and then logged off. Today when I zoned back in all the trash was gone and I could go straight to Yarvok. I definitely did not kill them yesterday. Not sure if that's intentional. Also when you first open the door and the mobs start to run in, a stealth class can still stealth past all the mobs if they just run past the first pack while they're still coming in. It won't trigger the stealth detection at that point. But that's pretty minor since you can just suicide run to the door anyways. I solo'd Yarvok on my operative healer here: https://youtu.be/_VdK_krkZjk. This had a lot of problems though. Once again the repairable conduits never happened, even after they had all been blown up. Also my companion got stuck in the northwest conduit ( ) and I couldn't heal or res him. So he died. And then I got stuck in the northeast conduit ( ) but holotraversed out. And then the fight went on forever since the conduits never reset and he's easy if you just LoS Salt n' Pepper around the middle pillar thing. I basically just killed him with a DoT and reflect. Yarvok on my guardian dps (in 258 gear): https://youtu.be/GlKBOBdbaFw. Conduits never reset again. I did get stuck in the northwest conduit ( ) but guardian leaped to my companion. Yarvok on my shadow dps (237 gear) where I died to the conduit overload: https://youtu.be/YipZn5QKu8s. Four of the conduits get broken. The north one never gets broken. It goes into the overload thing ( ) where you can repair conduits. I repair one but don't make it in time to a second one and die. Yarvok on my other shadow dps (250 gear) where conduit overload happens but I don't die: https://youtu.be/2ddJ4y2bIPQ. I get stuck in the northeast conduit ( ) but shadow stride to the boss. And then on the next bomb thing that breaks a conduit, it blows me up into the air a bit instead of sending me to a conduit ( ). Although it looks like the north one still turns off. And then after the last one breaks it goes into the overload ( ). I reset two of them and that seems like it stops the automatic death? And then I realized you can still click them for a bit, so I clicked a third. But then after that I never got sent to another conduit and the fight just lasted until I killed him. So I'm guessing the overload is somewhat of an enrage timer maybe? Otherwise you can just slowly whittle him down by LoSing his spray AoE and just hitting him when he's bunkered since that attack seems like it does less damage. Either way I don't think it's working right. And you need to make it so people don't get stuck in the conduits.
  7. Marauder Maneuvers didn't give me any voice over when I picked up the communicators now. Can't it just say it once? Like after you pick up the last one or something? Like others have said Dantooinian Destabilization is broken now. You can't sabotage the wind turbines. I spent some more time fighting Yarvok and I'm guessing what is supposed to happen is you get the repairable power conduits after all of them get broken. But that doesn't always happen. When I fought him on my Shadow I got the option to repair after only breaking 2 of them. And then on my Operative it worked one time, but then when I did it again I never got the option to repair them even long after they had all been broken. I don't know if that had something to do with my companion dying, although he died the one time it worked as well. He did have aggro the time it broke though. So I just sat there and slowly whittled him down. Also the conduit that is in the northwest corner has a tendency to get the player/companion stuck when they get teleported to it when it breaks. That's how my companion died, he just got stuck inside it. I've also been trapped there a couple times but I can holotraverse out. There's also something weird about his timing with the ability he uses while bunkered. He casts it then just sits there doing nothing for several seconds.
  8. So I played some after the update today. It looks like Yarvok's Gratitude is available for purchase on the Reputation Vendors for your legacy once you've unlocked the achievement (for 1 credit). Seems sort of weird that you can't just claim it from the achievements window like other ones though. I'm not sure I'd think to look there. New reputation items include a companion which is neat, that'll definitely get me to do it at least. Also I noticed on the Imperial vendor the Dantooine farmer gear chestpiece actually looks like the Nova Blade chestpiece. I think that's a mistake since on Republic side it's different. The explosives work now for Dantooine Restabilization. Wreckage Inspection still has voice over every time you loot medical supplies. The patch notes say A Friend Among Enemies added an instance to Konnari, but the instance doesn't work at all for me. I can see the green instance indicator but when I zone in I can't get past the doorway and there is no mob inside. Broadside Barrage does seem to work better now. Also this is a minor thing and it isn't new with this particular update but for the bonus mission "Defeat Imperial Forces" Imperial Snipers and Pillagers don't count for it. They added stealth detectors to all the heroics so you can't just stealth past mobs anymore. However it's still easy to get by on Reactor Ransom and Beware of Hugo. You just run straight to where the gate/elevator is then vanish and then you can click to get through. I was still able to solo Hugo as a 237 gear rating Shadow with a rank 9 healer companion, so I think he's still a bit too easy. Not that I mind. Also it said I got credit for "Hungry, Hungry Hugo" but I'm pretty sure he was chowing down on hostages. I was not able to solo Yarvok on my Shadow, but I was able to on my 248ish operative healer with a rank 50 DPS companion. I don't understand the power conduit stuff at all. When I tried it on my Shadow I did "break" some I guess and there was a moment where I could repair them, and when I did Yarvok said something. I have no idea what it did though. And I wasn't able to make it happen on my Operative at all. I don't know if it's because my companion had aggro most of the time or what but even though I was breaking them I never saw an opportunity to repair anything. So if anyone knows how this works please let me know. Yarvok seemed to behave weirdly when he was in his shielded mode as well. Sometimes he'd just stand there doing nothing for a bit. I don't know if that's supposed to be the case, but I think it made the fight easier than it probably should have been. The Heroic 2 walker boss is still bad. Still casts the shield too often and does zero damage to my companion.
  9. Yeah I've played Operative in PvP since Holotraverse was added and I've never had anything more than relatively minor glitches happen with it. I don't think I've ever gone flying across the map. I'm jealous.
  10. Well here's a little clip of a sorc pull desync: Pulled him up, thought he missed the ledge and fell back down, then there was a lot of jiggling. Some nice moves from the operative who grappled up too. Edit: And another one Edit2: A little one (watch the Jug)
  11. I just went and checked with my Republic defector and you're right, you warn the traitor and he gets away instead of having to kill him. Edit: You also turn in the medical supplies from the wreckage mission into an Imperial drop box instead of Republic.
  12. There was one mission I noticed on the Imperial side that does change depending on whether or not you're loyalist/saboteur. The one where you burn the farms and stuff, the last part you either spread the blight if you're loyal or destroy the blight if you're saboteur. And you just don't do the last part at all if you haven't picked a side yet. But that was the only one I noticed. And it's not even really helping them, just hurting them less. Maybe there's an intro mission that sets it up better though I don't know, I wish there was more to it as well.
  13. The toggle doesn't decide anything. It's the tier of Light/Dark you are. For Light/Dark there are like 5 different tiers. The dialogue change is dependent on whether or not you're Tier 1 (or maybe it's Tier 2 I'm not 100% sure) of Light/Dark. If you haven't reached that tier threshold then you get the neutral "you used violence as a tool not a crutch" line, regardless of what your toggle is set to. Since that conversation happens so early on in the story it's very likely you won't have reached the tier threshold unless you've gone out of your way to do other things to build up light/dark points first.
  14. That dialogue is based on your darkside/lightside rank as far as I can tell. I used to get the "you were soft" one back before they made it take way more points to get to Lightside I/II (I forget which) on my lightside agent. After that change I almost always got the "used violence as a tool not a crutch" because I wouldn't be Lightside I/II yet even though I was making all light choices. Similarly the other violence one is for if you've reached Darkside I/II. So maybe you reached the Lightside threshold on that character and not the others somehow?
  15. On PTS Character Copy click the server your character is on, click the character name, click Copy Character. If it says stuff about mail and GTN don't worry about it, it doesn't matter since it's just PTS. Click "Start Copy". It should reload the main PTS Character Copy screen with server select. Just login to PTS and you should see the character, it might have a dumb name like "JGJSHJACUX" or something. So it might be there if you haven't logged in to check. It has always been basically instantaneous for me but it could take a bit I guess.
  16. Nice! I did end up finding all the Rishi ones. I'll put them under spoilers if you want to know the locations. I don't have screenshots though.
  17. Well I finished finding them all and you don't get an extra achievement or item or anything. I was just wondering if doing them all unlocks anything because the text says things like "You know the cipher's code, though not what it belongs to..." and "the cipher appears capable of cracking a code, this may prove useful in the future."
  18. So there's an achievement called "The Dantooine Cipher" where you click on 5 books scattered around Dantooine. There are 4 in various buildings and 1 on Polly's island. You don't seem to get anything for doing it other than the achievement so I have no idea what it's for but apparently there are similar achievements on Rishi and Ossus now too. I've found 4/5 on Rishi but I can't find the fifth one. The first 4 have either been in the slums or the main boardwalk area. I've only found 1 on Ossus so far, in the tunnel between the Canyons and the northern area. Edit: Finished Ossus ciphers, just looking for Rishi #5 now. Any ideas what these are for?
  19. I played through Emp side once so far as level 70 Medicine Operative in 258 gear. Like others have said Emp side base is missing a QT point. There were a couple minor bugs but for the most part it seems good so far. I like the look of the planet, and the music. I was able to solo the Heroic 2+ easily but please tune down how often the walker casts its shield, it's annoying. I'd just sit there twiddling my thumbs waiting for the missile CD to reset (and yes I was interrupting it too, but it casts so often that would frequently be on CD as well). Also I was healing and my companion was DPS and kept aggro and the walker did zero damage to my companion the whole fight. Guessing that's a bug. I solo'd the Heroic 4 where you save the hostages and fight the dog as well. I think that one might be a bit buggy too although I'm not sure. It just seemed a bit weird. The dog would tickle the hostages a bit and they'd run around and then disappear but it didn't seem like he was killing them, they'd still be near full health. It seemed pretty easy for a Heroic 4 though, at least as a healer with stealth. Also I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional but I completed the Golden Dream achievement where you pay off the ransom for 15mil ten times. I received the BoP item in the mail on the character I completed the achievement with, but none of the other characters in that legacy received the item. And it doesn't seem like it can be claimed from the legacy window unless I'm missing something. I think it'd make more sense if every character in the legacy gets the item. Also also I really enjoyed falling in the well and Polly. Is there a way to be friends with Polly? I want a bird with a laser for a companion.
  20. Maybe a tactical item that increases duration/reduces cooldown of Heroic Moment. Or what about a tactical item that would change your flurry move into a completely different ability like a mount boost or a summon group members to you thing or a buff of some sort. For gathering maybe something that lets you harvest while mounted. Being able to use recuperate ability while moving. This one might be controversial but what about a way to gain reputation from doing activities (killing mobs, harvesting, pvping, completing missions, whatever). Like you get a tiny amount of rep towards whatever your highest non-maxed rep is for doing it or something.
  21. I don't think they talked about companions at all during the presentation. Early on they asked Theron fans to cheer... and then asked for the people who killed Theron to cheer. That was about it. Personally I get kind of annoyed when they act like being able to kill companions is a good thing. Especially since it's a complete lie that people who choose to keep them aren't affected by it.
  22. Excited for new story, hope it's a decent amount. Onderon is cool and Mek'Sha looks like a good place for a new huttball map if you ask me. New gearing sounds... interesting. We'll see how balancing goes with that. At least PvP gear will be a thing again.
  23. Looks a lot better than what we have now. I like the animations your character does when you add a piece on. I would like to see sound effects added to weapons. And I find the play button a little confusing, especially with mounts. It seems you can see flourishes and stuff but it just goes through all the different possible animations and it's not super clear what is what. Also sometimes I expected it to go to the next animation but it'd just reset to the one I was just doing until I clicked it some more. It should either say what the animation is (if it's a flourish, if it's the idle animation, etc.) or have it be a dropdown menu or something that you select from.
  24. Well if you really want to know Medicine Operative has 36 abilities, Concealment and Lethality have 35. Bodyguard Merc is technically the class with the most abilities at 38 so Operatives are right up there with them. Least is Carnage Marauder with 29. You probably do want to keybind most of them. I use 1-5, q, e, t, f, g, v, c, x, z, b and then shift or ctrl modify some too.
  25. I'm thinking about going to this but I've never been to one before. With space being limited does anyone know how quickly they usually fill up? Like do you have to line up hours in advance or anything? Or is that not usually a problem as long as you get there a little bit before it starts?
