  1. Quick recovery is gone, which does suck. However, the sweep part of it is going into Atura berserk and the 3 second cooldown on smash is being moved into the new 30% damage of smash.
  2. Basically: Annihilation got a slight nerf via utility Carnage + Rage both got buffs to bring them in line with Annihilation. So the answer is: We got both nerfed and buffed. For PvP, all 3 trees will be pretty viable. For PvE Annihilation and Carnage will both be viable, remains to be seen if one is more viable than the other. Rage may or may not compare for PvE, we'll have to see with DR caps being raised.
  3. Best quote ever, especially since it's coming from a sorc. Tracer spammer may have made it even funnier if one of them made that comment.
  4. For current patch, you'd bring an op dps in for the ability to wreck enemy healers. Their burst is amazing and with their stuns it doesn't allow cross healing. Combine an operative with a marauder and pretty much anything you target dies exceedingly fast. For 1.2 however... From what I've read at least, op dps will be terrible, but op healers will be the way to go with their buff in addition to being the most mobile healers. For operative dps though, ya, they're screwed. But things may have changed since I last checked up on it, so don't take my word for 100% accurate for 1.2 operative dps.
  5. The one, the only: Gillybear
  6. Most people can't cure Sorc DoTs unlike pretty much every other DoT class is probably a reason why you don't see it super often. As an Anni Marauder, I do see it, but not amazingly frequently.
  7. So what you're basically saying is that unlike every other class, marauders have to learn not only what their class does, but they have to learn what every other class can do, what the animations look like, what the common opener / attacks are, and then think of the marauder and what abilities it has to counter that class. And all that needs to take place almost instantly when you see an opposing class so you know how to beat them 1v1. If the above is correct, then I agree with your post 100%. It's why I enjoy playing a marauder. That and the fact that it just decimates 1v1 fights when you learn how to play it correctly. This is slightly off topic, but how do you fight an operative if your CC break is on CD and they stealth open on you? I realize you want to smash them out of their stealth if you know they're nearby so they lose that stealth burst, if not the stuns + backstab abilities, but if an operative gets the jump on you with their openers + cc and you don't have a CC break for a 1v1 situation, how do you deal with that? Or is the only thing you can do is attempt to escape once the CC is over?
  8. Marauders have 3 ranged abilities. The ranges are, 10, 10 and 15 with a 4-set pvp bonus that can only be used below 20%. Sniper roots completely screw us. As for people complaining about resolve bar filling way too fast indirectly... It means people are going to have to be *smart* about CCing and that will reduce the huge CC fest the game currently is now.
  9. Too many people will rage quit trying to level up a marauder that it won't become fotm. I would say that if they survive that grind, then they'll have to deal with the gear disparity in which it's another rage quitting period, but a fresh 50 will be able to have full BM gear most likely come 1.2.
  10. That's just unload and it's not limited to pvp. It doesn't do any damage, it's just annoying.
  11. I tried looking through the forums and couldn't find a thread about it, so here is my question: What level do you have to reach in order to send more than 3 companions out on a crew skill mission? Currently 40 and have 5 companions, would be nice to be able to send 4 or 5 of them out at one time.
