  1. Ok better evidence; the heal was on my friend who was also in the warzone with me as I basically was running around pocket healing him. He was a level 12 also, which means no he didn't have anything trained yet that would boost his heals that he received from me. From personal experience I have leveled a (1)-sage/ (1) Inquisitor, a (2)-operative/(1)-smuggler healer and a (1) bounty hunter and (1)trooper healer on several different servers as server pops dwindled.. All to 50 and most in full BM. OF THOSE CHARACTERS, never one time while healing sub 50 did I ever receive a surgeons medal. That's not a fluke. I equip this new crystal and all of a sudden I pop heals like this? Wrong... The crystal absolutely effects sub-50 PvP. I even took a screen shot because I knew no one would believe it. At this point the more I PvP I can tell you without a doubt this crystal ABSOLUTELY effects PvP. To claim otherwise is ignorance or just plain incompetency regarding the stat boost. http://i46.tinypic.com/mcu6gk.jpg
  2. I disagree @ level 12 with one expertise crystal I hit a 5.2k heal on a sage earning a surgeon medal. Its over powered as all get out, I cant imagine how over powered it is for people weilding two of them.
  3. 5k Surgeon medal on a sage @ level 16 is not overpowered you hush your pie hole! Leave the +41 expertise crystals alone!
  4. Its the principle, they tested the waters with gear that had mods in it; it sold. The cartel packs have crystals with +41 stats in it; it sold. Now they are testing the market with the ship parts, if it too sells mark my words it just a matter of time till purple gear shows up. People will eventually be able to pay-2-win gear, im calling it now. Its not about the availablity or the cost. Its the principle of the thing.
  5. I am insulted by the life day cartel pack items... I swear the speeder looks straight out of the Star Wars Trailer park... All the mount rider needs is a can of Natural Ice to complete the look.
  6. GW2 launched with server transfers and has been out half as long and already expanded into a new zone and just added a way to change character appearence. I would prefer if BioWares time table was half as decent as that games. Alas...
  7. Just saying you were being generous is all! I agree with most of your post. However, I would place it more around the vicinity of never, not a chance in h***, ever even if people paid for it. Why? Because the amount of moving people would be doing would once again end up with "Fatman" like servers and some empty ghost town. They cant afford more imbalances or reconsolidations. Better to just force people to reroll. Besides if people have to reroll instead of transfer they will make more money long term off the subscription then by just setting an arbitrary price on a transfer.
  8. Im betting $150 mil was spent on the planning, implimentation and release of the fremium model since they new before launch this game was not gonna end well....
  9. A & D should be strafe, Unbind S to prevent yourself from back peddling, bind your keys to your new toy. That should be a good place to start.
  10. Why the hell do people keep saying two tool bars is enough. I use at the minimum three. Every slot of those three too. And regularly use all the keys. I want to know why you people arn't. Really. As a healer, most of 1-12 is bound to heal skills and energy skills to return my energy. My second bar is filled with melee attacks, cc, movement freer etc. My third bar has all my aoe skills vehicles and bombs. I use all of these skills. Srsly... What are you people doing wrong face mashing 4 keys. O, I bet YOU guys only needing 1 maybe 2 tool bars are tue ones crying about getting whooped in PvP by that 'OP' class. (Which is probably more like that OP player that is utilizing ALL his skills for different situations.) Jeesh really. On topic. OP why are you surprised its a let down? You left for a reason, the core of the game hasn't changed, they just tossed in some fluff with barely any extra content. You were bound to be disappointed when you returned.
  11. This. Signed and you got my support! Make it so!
  12. I was under the impression that BioWare pretty much had free creative control regarding this game. EA kept their hands mostly out of the pot while this game was under development. This game however began being developed something like 6-7 years prior to its release. I think that when EA looked at the product they got after all that time and money invested in it they flipped out and realized this game was gonna tank. Thus, they rushed launch to try to cash in on christmas box sales. Every move since hasn't been about promoting game stability and future, but about recouping as much money as possible before the game goes into maintenance mode. This Pay-2-Play model is just screaming last ditch effort to nickel and dime. I know its easy to blame EA for everything here going wrong, but a huge portion of the problems can be sat directly at the feet of the BioWare devs. I will give them credit though, they get kudos in my book for f'ing the **** out of EA investors.
  13. Im thrilled the community was nice to her but this post could have been made without her gender flying in the wind like a burning bra with the addition of adding that she is a keyboard turner. Way to add to the sterotype of sucky female gamers.
  14. Since this is a thread about female gamers I would just like to add not all females are keyboard turners like the OP. Many female gamers use the mouse and keybinds, and those females dont get *****ed out by other people they play with. Mostly because they are not handicapping themselves with poor choices, thus there gender usually doesn't ever get revealed.
  15. Watching this guy get flamed by people who 'cant' post has been the highlight of my night.
  16. Resubbed for cartel coins and jumped on the PTS to test ride the F2P cartel store. Im a little happy about having access to some of the cool fluff. Plus I had a great deal of fun for about three days leveling up my Jedi Sage I had left off on. But, I dont think F2P will keep me for long. Once the shiny wears off it is still the same content with nothing really new. But it will be fun while it lasts.
  17. Out of curiosity I went through and added up peoples votes (and what I could make out as a vote) for threads. This is the general numbers I got. It was interesting. Word to the devs- DONT MAKE ANOTHER PLANET LIKE TARIS. Taris - 34 I dont think people like this planet Balmorra- 24 Belsavis- 22 Corellia- 15 Coruscant- 10 Hoth- 11 Alderaan- 11 Nar Shadaa- 12 Voss- 13 Quesh- 11 Korriban- 2 Illum-- 2 Tat- 3 DK- 1 Hutta- 1 Tython- 1 Fleet- 4 Special mention goes out to Ord Mantell for being the only planet not listed on the 'hate it' thread.
  18. Just my own two cents. BioWare shot themselves in the foot with VO. They placed all their bets on VO being the 'revolutionary' change to MMO's thinking it would keep players involved to the extent that they neglected staples most MMO players were used to. Now, they need VO to keep whats left of the population engaged in the only good selling point of SWTOR; story. But because they failed on just about everything else they are not generating the sub revenue to develop it. Its entirely hilarious.
  19. So, I want to make sure I understand this correctly... The biggest gripe is that the AoE Knockback now is a cone instead of a 360 degree AoE?... Seriously? This is the big gripe for PvE? Honestly, stop keyboard turning, use your mouse, rotate mash AoE key, knockback npc.... Why does this seem so complicated? A nerf implies a serious change in functionality.... I dont see how making this an AoE cone is that huge a deal. Come to think of it... Off the top of my head I cant recall any mmo I have played where anyone got a 360 degree AoE knockback until this game... People have managed just fine with using cone knockbacks. The mechanic isn't new. Additionally I would add, for PvE purposes directional knockback should be more important than 360 degree AoE knockback because you can control the direction the NPC's go thus limiting accidental pulls. As for healing, if your used to getting plowed from the back by NPC's may I purpose facing towards the direction the npc's come from if your incapable of turning and pushing a button? You dont have to be facing someone to heal them... Just saying. Also you could idk... Use an ability that lowers your threat generation in combination with a guard bubble... Logic people.... Really. Also I didnt read this whole thread but after reading the first couple pages of complaints regarding knockbacks it was hard to take it seriously. My biggest concern that no one seemed to address was the resolve changes... As if we need bigger stun wars... But thats PvP and god knows we shouldnt discuss that in an obvious PvE thread.
  20. This entire post is nothing but your opinion of why SWTOR is better then GW2.... I opened this thinking you may have had some decent facts to back it up. What a let down.
  21. Because they never 'straight up' copy anything... http://cdn.overclock.net/5/5f/500x1000px-LL-5fb083c8_337x700px-LL-1cf420da_SWTOR.jpeg
  22. http://www.torstatus.net/shards/us/stats This site may not be perfect, but the trend is a steady decline across all servers. Just saying. There really is no arguement one can propose that doesnt suggest the game is losing subs. If you like the game stop worrying about it and enjoy it while its around. If you dont **** and jump on the GW2 train /thread
