SWTOR charged me 60 bucks for the digital download when I bought it, the fact that they are giving away the software for free now is irellievant, in that respect. For players new to the game, sure its great, but you obviously didn;t read all the posts t see I was a returning player. EDIT: -Klaric: Thats great, I've come to see its true what they say about SW:TOR, its a fan boi game, since its end-game content is stale, repetitive, and the same as most other MMO's reskinned, thats the only reason you stick by it, a name. Glad you specifically stayed with TOR, Really don't need you trolling other games, this was me just expressing my gripe about The Failure of the Free-to-Play Platform, and it wrongfully, self-proclaimed as such, when it in fact is a play-to-Win platform. I'm done, off to play the EoN Alpha some more, yes I have a diverse demographic of play, try it some time.

Actually I would pay a sub for GW2, but theres so much more you can buy I dont think it would be a good model for them, you get 100% of the game, and only pay for fluff, actually don't have to spend a dime, you can spend in-game currency to buy the gems (cartel coin equivalent) from the exchange, and get everything that way. and back to SW:TOR... -Yes I do play a Tank as a Main, so i do have quite a few more buttons than 24, more so when you pvp,

im not subbing for a game that isnt worth it They should have taken a Look at the Guild Wars & Guild Wars 2 model THAT is how Free-to-Play is meant to be.

As the title says, I and some friends were hoping to finish our story quests on our characters, when this game went Free-to-Play, but of course, it was done the worst possible way, Pay-to-Win. Without going on and on about how the supposed Free-to-Play was done wrong, and instead made into a Pay-to-Win, scenario, I'll just pass on my first impressions/thoughts, after just logging in... "hmm Restrictions seem reasonable for the most part, curious how the 2 character restriction will work with my 6 characters..." "Origin servers changed merge blah blah blah, ok" "hmm free Legacy change, no change for that." "wow! 300 people in fleet!" "hmm respec, done, done." "action bars..oh need to turn those on in the UI..." "a c t i o n b a r s?" "oh you have got to be effing kidding me, they took away the other base action bars and THOSE are the two 'extra' that were mentioned for subs -.-" "cartel coins for more bars? oh $!@#& this." /log "F2P my ***, more like P2W!" /grumble

I personally am still on my first 30 days of the game...then they pull this whole , 'valued customer' shpeel and just because i choose to make and play alts, and ENJOY their games story lines and not rush to 50, those in the same or similar boat as me, don't get to be valued customers, only 'second rate', Is just wrong, if they are going to play 'favorites' they are going down the wrong road in the mmo industry, its all or none, or make it a CE delayed perk, or a delayed pre-order perk if you want, but to srgregate players based off level? Thats just wrong, everyone chose their own path, they should not be 'left out' because they chose 'wrongly'.

I put my support behind the ladies, for an even medium, My Jugg looks like Brick **** house but hes a tall Sith Pureblood, , them lady Juggernauts shouldn't have THAT kind of apperance..
