  1. If you have already started or completed KotFE and/or KotET you will not be able to do Shadow of Revan ever on that character. If you want to do them you must do Shadow of Revan and Rise of the Emperor before starting KotFE or KotET. Ilum, Makeb and Oricon can be completed even after starting or completing KotFE and/or KotET though.
  2. That's exactly the point of it. It's meant to be clicked by F2P/preferred players. Reason why many players ask subs to click their referral link is because it's guaranteed 100 CC every month from every player who clicks it (after initial CC reward of course).
  3. 1200 gmt (Greenwich Mean Time) 1300 bst (British Summer Time)
  4. Have been seeing these recently way too often. Mainly commandos in T4 gear. Especially healers are very likely to do this. They run around and aggro as many groups as possible, then just wait there until everyone else gets to them and kill around 50% of enemies while doing so.
  5. The fight is really easy if you know the mechanics. Basics like "you see red under you, run away" applies in this too. My gear is 230 blues/purples with eleven 228 augments so nothing special + crafted 228 stuff like relics.
  6. You can drop 75% of all possible armor pieces from your list just by delivering boxes to person who gives armor pieces to specific class. Aygo: Trooper and Warrior Visz: Smuggler and Bounty hunter Dr. Oggurobb: Inquisitor and Agent Sana-Rae: Knight and Consular
  7. Well, I've never claimed to be expert. In fact I get a lot crap in flashpoints for being a newbie healer. And I can't really get better because they just click koltos anyway and be at full heath in second -> nothing for me to heal. I stand corrected.
  8. Basics, at least in PvE: Sage/Sorc: great healing, not much burst but you don't really need it either, very easy playstyle Commando/Merc: great healing, very bursty, best AoE healer, playstyle is easy to medium difficulty, requres a bit more skill and knowledge than Sage/Sorc Scoundrel/Operative: good healing, almost no burst at all (you have like one big heal), decent AoE healer, playstyle is very HoT based so you will have to be doing something constantly, works best in combination with one of the other healer classes (meaning two Scoundrel/Operative healers in operation isn't optimal, doable but far from optimal)
  9. Sentinel would bring a lot of utility to group. Great dps, still probably the highest melee dps in the game if you can play sentinel. Guardian is simple but dps potential is in middle of pack. Shadows are just fun to play. Infiltration is in good spot dps wise. Serenity is fun to play but isn't on par with other dps specs. + Stealth that would allow skipping
  10. Hammer Station Vet on my Merc. If I remember correctly other were assassin tank, merc dps and sorc healer. I start as Bodyguard because I've been trying to get healing set build on side but quickly realize it and say I have to respec. We get through everything without big issues apart from me ripping aggro from level 55 assassin constantly, aggro drop on cooldown. I say that BW should really buff tank aggro generation. Minor thing really but I've heard that some raid teams are struggling with it. I have gotten so used to tanking on my Commando/Merc that I have completely forgot how boring everything is if it doesn't happen. We get to two turrets and after destroying them assassin leaves without saying anything. I started feeling bad about it later yesterday evening. I really hope he/she didn't discouraged from what I said about aggro generation on general level. Athiss Vet on my Commando. This time I'm the weird one I guess. This time as healer. Vanguard tank, shadow dps and can't remember last one. We get to second boss without big issues. Maybe a bit too boring run for me so far. Add management isn't perfect but they get killed sooner or later. Near the end of fight I get swarmed by last set of adds and almost die because I try to kill them instead of spam healing myself. After the fight I apologize for being bad healer and we continue. We go through the long way without big issues. Only ones additional champion was pulled before previous one died. Last boss fight goes without big issues. Edit: I just have to add this. Cademimu Vet Very weird guardian who didn't even have a real name on character. He wanted everyone to skip in cutscene before last boss. Because I refused to skip after "skip" appeared on chat guardian decided to cancel the cutscene for everyone and we had to watch it again. Brilliant move there...
  11. What are you talking about? They said 4 hours. It has been less than 4 hours. It started at 1500 my local time. Now it's 1856.
  12. Because 3000+ CXP from level 10 content is way too much. Content where you can't die. Not to even mention that you don't even need heals in there. I've completed both flashpoints before solo mode was added at level 14-17 with multiple different combos: dps+dps comp, dps+tank comp, dps+healer comp, tank+dps comp (back when companions only had one role).
  13. You're not allowed to advertise your referral in actual post even if link is in your signature.
  14. Hopefully I don't go from ~84 ms to ~120 ms again.
  15. If you're already in BiS then there's nothing you can get from crates (don't know if speeders still drop in T4). You're left with only on option: start building set for another role. Nothing different from previous gearing system: once you're in BiS there's nothing for you to gain anymore.
  16. AMD GPUs? Actually there's a lot of communication between your hard drive and processor after first loading screen. You would need all game data to be in RAM for everything to load near instantly. And since game installation alone is about 37GB you'd need quite a lot of RAM.
  17. I will never understand that strategy. Ignoring everything else and going straight to boss. You have to kill the enemies in front of console anyway so why not do it before boss? I've only seen this strategy used twice in hundreds of Red Reaper runs I've done.
  18. "It's bad because it's only prototype quality! I'm too proud to be using those!" 244s are only bad if you already have all possible options for that slot at rating 242. 244 armorings and enhancements are better than 240 armorings and enhancements. "But prototype quality is below me! I'm emperor of universe!" Well, if that's what you choose. Whatever floats your boat. Did I already mention the best part? What most players cry about nowadays? Yeah, repair bills. Which one is cheaper to repair: prototype, artifact or legendary? Only items where you have a point are relics.
  19. Happens when players try to create superserver without knowing limits of their selected "superserver". You need supercomputer or at least some kind of server cluster to handle 50000+ players at the same time. Don't believe? Check EVE Online.
  20. Let's see: 8 companions doing crew skill missions 1 melee at level 50 (use for crafting too) 1 ranged at level 50 (use for crafting too) After that you probably want more companions to level 50 so you can still do stuff while your other level 50 companions craft.
  21. It's because of the fact that armor appearance changes between Republic and Empire. If you could transfer those armor pieces to Republic character they would look different.
  22. Oricon is mentioned once or twice. Can't really remember the exact number of times but nothing specific to story of Dread Masters isn't mentioned.
  23. Look wise: All rifles I've found or have in collections < Searing Crusader + Trimantium Asylum / Rakata or even The Justice + Section Guardian combo. I've also seen other very cool armor + cannon combos. So, I don't know what's up with "ugly cannons".
