Saw someone mention removing casual Warzones, good idea I say . Why the two options? PVP is for PVPers right? if you're going to PVP then do the damn PVP already....

SWTOR has potentially fun PVP I agree, I'm just not getting any enjoyment out of it right now. I will point out that the fun times I have is with friends but most of them have given up on it and I mean we never really played that often together anyway. So I totally get the argument of wanting to group with friends.

I honestly don't think they'll ever fix this, suggested match making upgrades probably isn't in the budget for this MMO, and the so called die hard PVPers who like having the easy victims and wins around don't want solo Que's, pretty big chance it's gonna stay the way it is anyways. Pretty soon it's going to only be the die hard PVPers in the que's anyway. Me personally I love PVP, I simply don't much care for it in SWTOR which is why I've turned to GSF. now that's fun! The best way to fix this is to just give half token credit to the losers or something like that because a reprogram of the current match making system as amazing as that would be is not likely going to happen.

And what you say makes no sense either, I see GOOD and BAD players getting Steam Rolled, the problem is even 1 or 2 GOOD players in a match can only do so much. Me personally I'm sick to death of having to go through 10 matches or more for 1 win, after the 5th I just start raging. I pay for this game I don't want to have to blow 8 hours for a win because some greedy arse is on the other side bringing his friends in. I've tried the build your own group aproach but I can only usually get them interested about once a week. SO THEY NEED OPTIONS! WHY ARE PEOPLE SAYING NO TO OPTIONS? why? because you're having fun steam rolling with no compition thats why.

Premades are very very very annoying! we really need 2 different que's

I usually gravitate towards PVP, but in SWTOR it's trash. you might play GSF, I guess it ain't everyone's cup of tea but then again what is? It's another choice though if you're after the PVP gear. Yes Premades are a load of crap but it's only part of what I consider bad PVP to begin with. Well I can't honestly say it's complete crap, Duels are fun!

So what you're saying is you aren't happy with PVE players participating in PVP? I didn't get the memo when I started playing SWTOR that I'm not allowed to PVP even though most of my focus is in PVE, damn I guess I should stop queing for PVP then since I'm not really a true PVPer since I don't do it every day! Thanks for the memo! damn this game has so many rules!!!

Lots of good points and I agree with it whole heartedly, all I'm gonna say is I feel like SWTOR pvp is absolute trash as it stands right now. Now I can't solely blame that on the developers because as another poster stated, the community will likely find a way to still cheese any changes that may come around. this game devolves around PVP I've noticed and the community is as much to blame as the games developers. Thankyou for showing your feelings about the PVP scene I could not agree more with you! I essentially had the same experience you did.

yeah what I suggest is direct immunity for a couple of seconds after being stunned, It seems that the mechanic that's in place right now isn't working if you're getting focused (or rather) players have essentially just found a way to beat the mechanic.

I'm immortal build but I don't use offensive gear, Though I get kills I like to Harass rather than just kill, It's pretty funny but people have the DPS mentality in PVP and I get told all the time I shouldn't be in defensive gear, but Immortal is just so much more fun in defensive gear for me. It all falls down to what you want to do on your Jugg, but on a GOOD match I'm lucky to break 1mil DPS, but I can also hold off 3 guys for a significant amount of time while help arrives if I'm defending a node, I'd like to point out that I'm often in the upper tiers of the finished game ratings. and I'll attribute this to ASSISTING and GUARDING other players in kills while defending nodes and this has often netted me good ratings on the score board. I know I'm in the minority and honestly I can get kills on occasion in solo's but I'm really there to buy time for my team. I would try assist killing and see if that improves your over all rating in games. if someone is killing someone that doesn't take you away from your objectives join in throw guard on your mate and do it every time you see the opportunity and see if this helps your ratings.

I've played probably 40 games in the last 3 days and have been in 3 winning games in unranked. So I've given up PVP in this game due to it, I'm not the best PVPer anymore as age has cought up to me and I just don't care to be among the best anymore. I PVP for fun only, but SWTOR PVP is the farthest thing from fun I can think of as it stands now so why bother doing something that isn't fun right? We have guild events for PVP, so I know the PVP in SWTOR CAN be fun, but getting ganked over and over in un even matches just puts me off, I'm not really sure anything can be done about it though because people play who they play with and limiting who they can play with will just piss them off. Anyway rant over ;P

Adding stun immunity for a couple of seconds after getting stunned would go a long way in helping solve this issue (Somewhat anyway). Stunfest is really what keeps me from enjoying the PVP in SWTOR.
