there is a whole codex entry and popup that accompanies getting to level 20. It says that you should start saving because the speeder is expensive. Learn to read...

I wouldn't even mind if they had it just the ability to switch trees within an Advanced Class. You can heal/dps or tank/dps but you can not tank/heal. Sounds fair to me. ^Incorrect

The space combat does need the XP tooled down, just like Warzones. But just questing it feels alright. I've been playing since day 1 EGA and have a 22 and an 11. Spend much of my time playing with the crafting (because gathering works well out in the wilds, but when you are crafting upgrades it takes a little focus) and the only time I see real XP jumps it's through space and PVP. My 22 (actually 23 now as of a little bit ago) is on Nar Shadda and the quests are a little behind but that was because it only hit me that I only HAD to do my story missions at the end of my time on the previous planet. My plan is to do what missions are convenient while doing my class story, maybe do some PVP and space (because both are awesome), and then skip much of the side stuff. I will use my next toon to do all that stuff I missed. Like many, I also have a life outside of playing games, so I don't rush. And by life I am not implying I am not a chronic nerd, just that my nerd-ness expands outside of "OMGWTF GAMEZ!!1!1"

Rolling a toon on a server that has an extremely high population and refusing to leave when a queue appears does not make a launch a failure. This was the best launch of an MMO I have ever seen. Every launch "problem" is the users fault, not the company. Hooray SWTOR!

I tend to agree as long as it is inside of the AC you already picked. I'm a BH Merc and I am torn between healing for my guild and enjoying my leveling. If I could pop over to my healing spec in a flashpoint and then back to my DPS when soloing I would feel so much better. At this point I feel like another knuckle-dragging DPS who brings nothing to the table in my guild. I'm even willing to invest in a separate healing set, I really would not mind as long as I could switch easily.

People really gotta get over the queues. They will happen with a game launch. Most that are so upset is because during EGA they had very little in the way of queues and got used to it. Then when the game actually launched they had no idea what to do with themselves.

Changing the configuration file really does work. It's like night and day. I can vouch because I went "this trick is crap, it won't work." I tried it, got into game, and went "Holy cow... that really happened..." DO IT!

1. Got my CE box from the retailer yesterday after work. 2. Got home and put in the product key. 3. Smiled as I grabbed my debit card. 4. Input my payment information and security key. 5. Double checked to make sure all my account boxes were checked. 6. Smiled as I grabbed my security dongle. (hehe dongle) 7. Waited in a 5-10 minute queue and then played till I passed out. 8. Repeat steps 6-8 Ad Infinum.

Nothing official yet but for the love of the force I am glad to see that someone else has noticed the problem! So many nodes! So many lost chances at PHAT RESOURCE LOOTZ! Keep buggin' them about it and should get fixed. I think it has to do with their position against the ground because it's usually the nodes that are right up against or inside of ground clutter/containers. Though, come to think of it that was only the case in beta; now I get the issue far less often but sometimes the nodes that don't work are sitting right out in the open...? Hrm...

/sign /sign /sign I wasted over half my commendations that I was going to use on mods on a stupid blaster pistol because I ctrl+right instead of left... Even a 30 second - 1 minute timer would work for me because it was literally a "*click* Wait... no, take that back. *sell* Wait... where did my commendations go? *checks log* 723 credits!? I lost an hour worth of commendations for the cost of 2-3 companion resource runs!?" And an hour is being nice, because I think it was more like a few hours... Stupid pistol... *throws in sarlacc pit*

I'll admit it takes some getting used to, but personally it feels more efficient the way it is. Once you know what you are looking for and what category things fall into it's literally 30 seconds at MAX to find exactly what you want. My only issue with it, is that I sometimes just want to search -item level range- and -useable- to see all the possible things under a broad category I can use. Item mods are a category like this. I don't want to specify, I just wanna see my options!

Agreed. Needs slowed down by a TON. However, the game itself is amazing.
