  1. Guys wth with black hole dps offhands? Where are the MK-1 pieces? Tank offhands are available for black hole points why there is no dps offhands? :/
  2. Do you think that daily quests should be solo activity or group activity? I personally think that dailies should be solo activity, it is where you get upgrades for raid and therefore I have to do it everyday to get rewards asap, I want to do them when I have time, not when other people (who have not done it yet) are available. Log in -> rush dailies -> go on with my daily RL activities until it's a raid day. Right now you pretty much can not do a daily on a raid day (if you have a job that is), because there is simply not enough time to find a group and do all dailies. All dailies related to last raid tier should be near each other and should be relatively short. (up to ~1.5 hour of solo questing for daily dose of commendations!)
  3. It would be great, but as long as we don't have addons and still have calculate all of our DKP out of game, we will be forced to use out of game calendar. Anyway I had no doubt in-game calendar for raids will be in @ launch, how wrong I was...
  4. That is exactly why GW2 will not have end game PvE. (5man content is not what I call end game PvE).
  5. I hope they stick with the trinity and if change anything let it be strengthening of the role differences. No trinity no mmorpg for me. I want to fill a role.
  6. Currently there is only one raid tier - Rakata, everything else can be obtained without ever taking part in a raid. Normal raids do not provide any better quality items than Flashpoints and Nightmare raids reward same quality as Hard Raids, leaving us with 2 grades of rewards (columi=flashpoints and normal raids, rakata=hard and nightmare raids). Is there any initiative to change that?
  7. Depends. I hope for harder new raid and for "addon support coming" announcement. If both of those fail I will not subscribe past march.
  8. I can see the decline of players, if only measure our guild 2 weeks after launch 71 is our online members record, now at the peak average is 30 at best. I myself find it hard to log in because there is nothing left to do, nightmare raids are cleared almost all BiS equipment from raids is acquired and I am no hardcore player, I don't even have the daily Rakata slots because I have no time to do dailies.. The content is poorly designed so decent mmo players with experience might skip half of end game. I really wanted this game to be successful but guildies leaving one after another are giving me a hard time to believe it will grow to be something more then another failed wow killer.
  9. Yes sure it is fundamentally a different class.. it only shares same quests and same gear tokens in raids which does not make them so different..
  10. So anyone can tell if these two relics share "similar damage-dealing effect" or not? Energy Surge Device and Gravity Wave Device ?
  11. Well isn't it obvious, bioware wanted to make 8 classes per faction, but they did not have time nor budget to make 8 stories per faction, so they combined 2 classes into 1 story. Yes you should not be able to spec between classes, but those stopped being "classes" when they were put together into 1 bigger "class". Following this logic you could call every spec a "class". I want to be able to respec to anything my class can potentially be, because rolling 8 stories is already more than enough.
  12. I will be talking mainly about PvE here and specifically the loot distribution aspect, not the difficulty even though they are intersected and can't be separated. Currently I find the gearing aspect in swtor lacking. Let me explain why. Flashpoints: best obtainable gear - Columi. Commendations - Tionese. Normal raids: best obtainalbe gear - Columi. Commendations - Tionese. Hard raids: best obtainable gear - Rakata. Commendations - Columi. Nightmare raids: best obtainable gear - Rakata. Commendations - Columi. Well now I can't help, but feel that BW got sabotaged by whoever made these decisions. 1) It should be the other way around - you farm commendations for better loot then you obtain directly, not for worse loot. I never ever had the use for tionese or columi commendations, because I got the loot before I got enough commendations. 2) Two of four group content sections are absolutely the same in gear quality even though they scale (or should scale) in difficulty. 3) Hardest tier does not reward highest rewards. In the end I feel like skipping 2 of those 4 difficulty tiers, because they really have nothing to offer. I feel responsible to suggest at least one schema for things to work a lot better in my humble opinion. Main objective is to make those 4 sections of group content to feel like you are actually progressing while moving through them and taking higher step each time. Flashpoints: best obtainable gear - Energized. Commendations - Tionese. Normal raids: best obtainable gear - Tionese. Commendations - Columi. Hard raids: best obtainable gear - Columi/Exotech. Commendations - Rakata. Nightmare raids: best obtainalbe gear - Rakata. Commendations - Rakata. If you can't see what I did here, let me explain. As you start at the lowest step, you get the poorest loot, if you can not advance to higher step with the loot you got - repeat and farm commendations for better loot. Once you are able - move on to harder tier and get better drops instantly! If those are not enough to get you to Hard Raids - farm normals for a couple of weeks until you have commendations for a few Columi pieces. Once you feel confident to take down Hard Raid bosses - go there and get instant Columi/Exotech rewards. I am 50/50 whether you should be able to farm highest tier loot commendations or not, so I leave this decision to you Bioware (either way it would be better compared to what we have now). Once you are in the Hardest Tier you go for Highest prizes, with additional Nightmare Mode only rewards. This way you would feel like actually progressing through content as well as progressing your character performance with better rewards in each step. I think it is very straightforward and logical, and it's the way it should have been from the start, but better later than never right? Thank you for reading.
  13. I support. My reason is simple - gearing up in/for raids is as half as fun when you can't see your numbers grow. Loot worth is somewhat cloudy, I can not feel the value of raid rewards therefore motivation to raid is much lower then it could be.
  14. I agree on every aspect and suggested somewhat similar tweaks in my thread. Too bad I can't make such well constructed posts to attract the right amount of attention as English is not my native language, so thank you for posting OP. (my suggestion thread http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=283976)
  15. I am all for respecing AC, I hate the idea that you ave to level same class 2 times to get the taste of every spec.
  16. I had a thought about that, but did not wan't to make "another dual-spec" thread out of it
  17. Flashpoints: 1 tank 1 heal 2 dps 8man raid: 1 tank 2 heals 5 dps 16man raid: 1 tank 3 heals 12 dps Results: In a guild we lack tanks and heals for flashpoints, and/or we have too many of them for operations (especially 16man). Please try to balance it to keep the proportions equal throughout the group content.
  18. We are average raiding guild with 3 raids per week, we are nowhere near the hardcore type, but we already done most of the raids even on nightmare, and really there is no motivation to do nightmare as it does not bring anything new in terms of rewards (except bragging rights) compared to hards. The content itself is plenty imo, 2 raids each with 5 bosses is generous for a single raid tier. Reasons why I think the content is over so fast (compared to another mmo we all know about). 1) Most obvious - raids are too easy. 2) Less spots per raid = more loot per person, gearing up is too fast and items feel cheap. 3) Less gear slots even further shortens the gearing period. What changes I suggest: 1) No Normal Raid drops in Flashpoints (presently the columi level). 2) A little harder "Hard" raids (like 10% more hp on bosses and 10% more damage to raid). 3) Significantly harder Nightmare with higher ilvl item drops, to motivate and feel more rewarding. (fails should be unforgiving, failed to move from spot=dead, failed to move out of raid=wipe etc.) As off topic I would also like to mention that gearing up in raids are half as fun when you do not have damage meters and can't see your numbers grow.
  19. Hello Bioware. Now master looter has an option to give item randomly, it would be great to have additional option - "Post item for Need/Greed roll". Thanks for reading and hopefully considering.
  20. This change is no doubt a good one. Whiner's are always satisfied because they can whine more and that is all they need.
  21. Ok so there's no point uploading our drops I guess as it won't be accurate with master looter on.
