Keep the random, give a higher reward for it. If you don't want the random and higher reward, at least you know you're going to the one you like.

Your skill trees were reset because of HUGE changes in the talents and skills, not because they felt like messing with you. It's part of changing the game for the better, although "for the better" is probably worthy of discussion in different threads, but it's something you will have to live with in ANY living, breathing MMO. You said WoW ruined their skill trees, but that was part of their defenition of growing. If you don't want your skill trees reset through this growth, you're probably better off playing a one person game.

I like this idea. I've been trying to rally support around my "legacy names pop up in mail list" suggestion, but this would be better and render mine obsolete. Either way, I wish this would happen!

I'm bumping this because with the new server transfer/consolidation, I think it's more important than ever. People are dealing with new names and such... it would be nice if my legacy names would pop up in my mail list just like my friends and guildees names.

Not trying to be a dick, but everyone has questions (I like yours, so, again, not being a dick) but if they don't answer, they don't answer. I have 15 posts and none of them are answered, all of them probably have varying degrees of importance to anyone else but myself, but what makes you so special? If it's that important to you, keep asking it and people will keep reading it, and if they like it, it will keep getting bumped.

Just speaking on the same gender thing: I know it was promised, but since the game may or may not be circling the toilet, and with the Chic-Fil-A (sp?) thing and all the tidal wave of emotions after it, I wouldn't blame the company for holding off on implementing that anytime soon. Small minded people on both sides of the same sex issue can make huge waves and unwanted attention that this game doesn't need right now. Just my humble opinion.

Aaah yes, I remember that. I like your post. If I remember correctly, the Sith Warrior has something KIND OF like this at the very beginning before you get Vette, but not really. You interview people, punish/reward/kill them, then Darth Baras critiques your choices. That's about as close as you get. I agree, I would like to see a lot more of that brought back into this game.

I hate to say it, but I think you fall in the category of "can't please everybody". They want everyone to experience the whole game, not just one side. Now, devil's advocate of my own argument would be that since they're obviously not doing as well as they thought and trying to keep as many people as possible, maybe they should look at your standpoint and other like you.

My wife and I use alt codes (è, ø) to get the names we want, and i know we aren't the only ones. We also are on our third server after all these changes so it's sometimes hard to remember who is who, who does what, and what faction they're on. I'm not saying it should be at the top of the list, but I know we aren't the only ones that get frustrated by this and it seems to me that it is a simple fix.

This is a good idea. Put a little "unify colors" button on the dressing room window just like the character window. Nice.

I think I agree with most of this stuff. My only gripe about your post is too much information all at once. Some people will get bored and stop reading. Some people will think you are whining because of sheer volume of your post. I would say break up your ideas into different posts, but thats just me.

My point is they should not be working for those two factions exclusively. But you made an excellent point with Hutts and Mandalorians. For the sake of my idea, Bounty Hunters and Smugglers could work for Hutts because they go between both Imperials and Republic. Mandalorians would be harder to incorporate because of their honor code and all, but it is definatly an excellent idea.

I agree. Although, I do see it being filled with a bunch of complaining about the f2p people at first, I do think we will need a place to discuss things that won't be tainted by people that enjoy trolling with no consequences.
