I wish there was a naming policy on all the servers personally. Ever since my 'voluntary' transfer have seen so many stupidly named characters dancing naked on the rebel fleet thinking they are something special that it makes me wish there was a specific server for approved names only. I wouldn't mind waiting 72 hours for a name to get approved. That is where I would go.

For the most part I agree. I have only minor complaints about little things like chat window bugs etc. Otherwise it is a splendid game.

I'm a huge stickler for names. It is one of my pet peeves. In WoW, when I got really bored and sick of the stupidity people would come up with for characters...I would search zone by zone for any name violating the naming policy. When I choose a name I want it for a specific reason, a concept, an idea, the underlying meaning it may have in relation to another character of mine.... I'm pretty sure if anyone walked into a new town and was told they can no longer have their name... they wouldn't be very happy with it either.

The easiest solution I've found for this problem: Force Persuade myself that there is no kiosk.

If you can't win (get the robes you want due to the failure of the game selection), improvise (choose something you do have control over)

your new name is CrapBag. How you doing. Its not fun to lose something you put time, energy, thought into. Not to mention the entire family lore/lagacy/story you might have put into said names.

I only lost my Legacy name, everything else remained.

Luckily all I lost was my Legacy name but I was worried about the char names when I did it as well. I'm sorry it went so badly.

In one of the threads for graphics optimization under customer service: Have DX9 Installed Run the game in compatability mode for WinXP sp3. If you you have a mega machine this won't do anything but if its a mid range machine, this disables the LOD nerfing of the high res textures and smooths out a lot of the lines when the setting are high quality in the game options. I love the game, I'm just very very very frustrated about the hidden info. they could have just put it all out there to begin with. I even asked in a ticket about this very thing and was told there is no information that is provided... then i see that posting on massively... really really crappy.

I've already got the armors in his inventory that will make him look like a Trooper. If you can't win, improvise.

I have fun on both sides of the fence. I wish there were more variation between the sides, they are simply mirror classes. Whether I continue to have fun remains to be seen after this 'voluntary' server move, whether or not i get to keep my names.

Multiple Server Issues

Why do simple things take 6, 11, 19 etc minutes to craft? Then to just to turn around re-engineer the item(s), fail 25 times without a schematic. Spend the next 4 hours getting the same things you had in order to try again. I am all for crafting. I love crafting. I love outfitting my characters, but there seems to be no point for this mechanic. It is senseless and just causes frustration. If there is a reason I'd love to know what the justification is.

I just received this on my Dark Jedi Sage but I cannot find an equipped image for it. I would like to know how it looks so I can decide what to do with it. The Icons never seem to quite fit how they look equipped. If anyone has a link to a known screenshot of one could you notify me pls? I would really appreciate it.
