  1. 1. no complaints about the class in general 2. we NEED an interrupt that can be used on boss fights. when going against Revan and LR-5, interrupts are crucial and if you don't have one, you put your group at a major disadvantage.
  2. There is a serious bug here: I'm queued with 3 people and the queue will pop, but it will show a list of people (none are in my group) and when I select Ready it goes to "Waiting on 2" and then "Waiting on 4." And if I decline the box just pops back up and I get 7-10 notification messages that "A group has been found." To fix it we had to quit the group and retry. Then the queue window would pop up with the same 4th person who would never accept, and the only way to get a group going was to add a 4th and then use GF. Now, while in the middle of Esseles, I would get a window to pop up to get me to join another group WHILE I WAS GROUPED. The other people from that list would then whisper me telling me to accept and I had to explain to them that it was a bug and I was already in a flashpoint.
  3. Awesome. Although I'm waiting for sequel to Revan, which probably won't happen until an expansion...
  4. does that mean you guys will finally acknowledge that THIS thread exists: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=72909&page=56
  5. this. the Legacy system is great for alts, but prioritizing it over features that affect everyone (such as having someone to play with/against) is killing the game.
  6. priority should be server merges. no matter how many useless features you add to a game (chat bubbles, etc), if people dont have anyone to play with, they will stop playing. everyone complains about how BW should "fix" pvp or "fix" the GTN, but fixing those isn't going to bring players back. its the lack of players thats killing off the players, and its a slippery slope until they bring server pops back up to manageable levels.
  7. Its a rumor that people started when BW announced they were upgrading their servers to handle a higher population.
  8. I've been wondering the same thing. the bigwigs up at EA probably threw a fit when they saw that 400k subscriber loss and forced BioWare to make changes. But getting rid of your SCM, the FACE of your company? From what I have read, Stephen Reed was busy with future work, etc, and a person with that important of a role doesn't just get up and walk out without without training someone to fill his shoes. Honestly, the only explanation I can come up with, is that BioWare has decided that they don't need to interact with their players anymore, and thats the WRONG thing to do if you want to keep paying customers.
  9. Back to the original question: it was a multitude of things - The game wasn't living up to expectations. We were promised a "WoW-killer" but it was pushed for a holiday release which meant they released an unfinished game. - Server sizes were throttled and there were too many servers to begin with, because they didn't want servers to fail on Day 1. Then, they increased the server cap, causing Heavy/Full servers to look like they had a lower population than before. - Then came the first exodus where people quit after their free 30 days were up, or after a few months when they found out the game just wasn't for them. - Then came the second exodus around 1.2 which was supposed to be the saving grace of the game, but wasn't enough to keep people satisfied, and they viewed it as a band-aid instead of a fix. Around this time most light/standard servers seemed to have a decent population still and not many people noticed the effects. The Rakghoul Event helped a bit with that because for a time fleet and Tatooine were booming with players, in most cases rising back to or above 1.1 population levels for at least a week, and slowly started to taper off again. - But soon enough, a great migration began. I don't know how it went on other servers, but on mine, the weekend before D3 released everything seemed to grind to a halt. We went from 120 people at Fleet during peak (down from 135-140 during 1.1) to a max of 65. This crash caused the game to almost halt. A lot of the guilds that were prominent (Drunk Tanks, Hammerfist Clan, etc) seemed to vanish. PVP queues dropped to 1 pop every 15-20 minutes if you were lucky, and it became extremely hard to find groups to run Flashpoints. Also, with a lack of players, the markets began to tank because there were less buyers. I have seen augments and augmented gear that sold like hotcakes at the beginning of 1.2 sit in the GTN at 3/4 their original selling price for a week or more without being sold. Will population rise back up with 1.3 and when people get tired of the latest and greatest games that have come out? I hope so, but there's no real way to tell.
  10. Thanks. As for your question, Synthweaving orange gear broken down by armor type and faction: Large Pic There are no schematics for heavy hooded robes, but they are available from the PVP vendor and as drops/quest rewards. Except you can barely see most tiaras under your hood/hide head slot.
  11. Whether we want to believe it or not, our galaxy is facing an epidemic right now. Spread across known space and the uncharted regions, hundreds of thousands of Marauders are living without hooded robes, while other Sith and Jedi classes are complaining about having too many. In fact, just today I heard a Jedi exclaim how tired he was of wearing hooded robes and wished for a change. In reply, a simple citizen asked if the Jedi would donate his abundance of unwanted robes to less fortunate Marauders. Inspired by this brave citizen, I have made it my mission to personally see that EVERY Marauder has as equal of a chance to wear hooded robes as do their comrades and enemies. But I cannot do this alone. It will take the combined power of all you inhabitants of the galaxy to make sure that no Marauder has to live in fear of being caught in public un-hooded. If every Force user were to check their cargo holds and donate only one or two of their old, no longer worn robes, we would have enough hooded robes for every Marauder to go without wanting. So I beg, no, I PLEAD with you kind souls, citizens of the Empire and Republic alike, find it in your hearts to feel for our plight, and help my fellow Marauders and I to become clothed in the gear we were meant to have. Because we all know that there is nothing more important in life than being dashingly good looking. If I have managed to hold your attention for this long, I personally would like to thank you. Malize Vhett, citizen of the Empire, The Shadowlands
  12. I like legacy, considering I'm on my 3rd character. I just don't like how expensive it is. I used my first million for the ship droid, but i cant justify the 600k for a 6 minute cool down on quick travel or 5mil for a personal GTN terminal. Really looking forward to the Exp gain in 1.3 though.
  13. How about the one where you tell us what we want to hear and actually follow through?
  14. Its ridiculous that we can't eve get an acknowledgement from BioWare that this thread even exists.
