  1. LoS, short for Line of Sight I let my khem die (pff he doesn't do anything useful) She can heal for alot but nothing what you can't manage if you use your brain. And yes, i agree Rolan was alot harder but atleast you can finish that guy off quite fashionable.
  2. lvl'ed as MM, only had trouble on Voss/correlia but nothing really serious. I used Kaliyo/SCORPIO through the entire game, purely as a distraction rather then a tank. Sometimes life can be hard only when you have to fight a sorcerer mob but you'll manage.

  4. It's alot fairer now, found a few people actually managing to trick me into using my CC cleaner, just to lock me again. (tactical facepalm aimed at me) Op, stop aiming at Vanguards/powertechs/juggernauts/guardian, it's suicide.

Sorc in pvp is abit frustrating in the beginning, (my main is a sniper so i'm kinda hardened:D) But as healer and having my guard buddy with me, i just refuse to die, unless i get zerged by 2+ melee. Lighting seems to work quite well or atleast better then Madness. (i know people swear by the hybrid build, which pretty strong but it doesn't take a PT/vanguard down) just my opinion. OP, play sniper and then start complaining about being "underpowered", You don't know half of the pain you're going to experience.
  6. depends on playstyle and terrain if i have enough poles to circle around = many end up dead. Open terrain = MM excels at it, I'm a leth sniper because i prefer the mobility, also a sorc/sage can't cleanse the dots away because they are tech dots, Merc/operative can do this. People have different preferences and different playstyle. MM offers alot despite the static gameplay.
  7. emperor's force push can actually push me trough a column. Bugs are present and need fixing.
  8. Seconded, pretty much the only fix for PvP that sniper needs against those pesky chargers.

We have no problem with the mechanics of the fight, they are pretty much clear The point of this whole thread is that difficulty is out of wack and double spaws of droids (yes i can confirm that this happens on normal) We aren't talking about a nerf but about fixing obvious bugs, are people against that?
  10. Sacrificing a tank for another dps is a possibility, and seems to be the only way of doing so but a very tricky strategy aswell (if stun probes hit your tank, your healer isn't going to be happy) BW made this guy a niche boss which is bad for business.
  11. Normal needs a review, rest is pretty much fine. You can't even kill the stun probes with the fire. (tested it myself) It took us alot of tries (we aren't full columine/rakata, just your everyday retired raider) We keep the debuff up 24/7 but the dps can't keep up with dealing with all those probes. (else tank gets beating or healer starts doing a dubsteb) + you pretty much lose a dps to it to soak the stun) In the end we have to spend more time killing the probes instead of killing the boss.
  12. SCORPIO is in the same boat, it was a nightmare to find a decent techstaff, till you can do those bonus series.
  13. The stance switching is pretty understandable, but one-sided (talent for force retain is needed, 10/20?) Some other changes are just awkward please note, This currently on PTR, it can change if they get negative results.
  14. Drunken monkeys seem to roam these forums more often then usual, Seems like alot of people can't adapt and overcome? Sniper is considered "useless" by most people, still doesn't stop me from decimating the other team.
  15. shadows off and AA off and it shouldn't happen. If lag is your problem, then you should start checking your network configuration/firewalls. Maybe an angry mail to your provider about your MBPS? (check this first though) @OP A GT560 is more then enough to run it on high settings, Check CPU specs prior to gfx SW:Tor consumes alot of cpu resources.
  16. Operatives IS a very decent healer but it has a high skill cap, in PvP/PvE you methods of healing are very different. I've seen many fail but the ones that didn't are pretty much immortal. I do agree that HoT's need a small rework (10/15% buff) or allow surgical/diagnostic scan refresh the HoT's. Operatives/scoundrel were FOTM class due to their Opening move simply dealing alot of dmg and leaving most people at low hp before they could actually fight back.
  17. OP was probably on acid when he wrote this... The opening strike was capable to remove an average of 40-60% of the hp. Many operatives knew that it wouldn't last long.

  20. Arsenal/gunnery spec could use a change, because now they are playing sitting duck Pressing more buttons is cool, a decrease in overall dmg is just not needed.
  21. without expertise you take an average of... 7% more dmg?. Vanguard/PT/juggernaut/guardian are medal farmers..., dmg/protection/objectives As for dmg, when guard is up don't play frontline charger and CC high value targets (healers or sorcs/sages) Additional note: with those stats you should be nearly invincible either your guard target is being a noob and decides to take the dmg instead of avoiding it. Also you can't take 3 people all by yourself, i think you're playing abit too overconfident.
  22. people have a tendency to underestimate sniper/gunslinger, not suprising Vanguard/powertech/guardian/juggernaut are due to recent changes, the best medal farmers They can dish out a fair amount of dmg/ have enormous defensive capabilities/ and guard...
