  1. It also tells you their interests in the Codex, which is where those lists on these websites came from. But the codex will also give you hints on what kind of conversation choices they will like.
  2. At this time the companions that use techblades and techstaves are without moddable items. (Yuun, Akaavi, Vector.. etc etc)
  3. I was just heal trading on the Fleet and this subject came up.. I was getting ready to make a thread about it but as there is one here already. I agree 100%, make it a fluff option for the smuggler / agent that only we can hear at the minimum. I need my giggles!! It makes the game fun! Tessah Tesla the Infernal
  4. Started as a scoundrel in early access, and still raid 3 times a week healing our 16m. Yes, our healing between the mirror classes is gimped. We have poor energy restoration tools, trying to keep upper-hand stacked when it's on such a short timer and stacks so low is silly, and on top of all of that.. we have no beneficial buffs coming from our heals(mainly the armor buffs the other two get). I feel like bioware isn't taking this class seriously at all. The 1.2 changes are a step in the right direction, but the class will remain the lowest played percentile until they address the energy consumption and possibly just dump/improve the whole upper-hand system. And as for the pvp posts.. you don't count. Stacking medpacs on people and going into stealth until they need a big heal wont work against a boss encounter. When everyone needs healed from an aoe attack, and your tank is going down.. you'll notice very quickly that your pvp healing skills mean diddlysquat. But kudos to that screenshot of your numbers.. I'll just keep my infernal title.
  5. I was the 8th level 50 on my server, 1st smuggler class. I leveled Sawbones Scoundrel the whole way with Corso tanking everything in the sand people social armor. I must admit, after making the other classes, I always look back and think of how much easier life was to level safely at a moderate pace than having to stop after nearly every group to recover.
  6. Wow, how odd.. I have little to no desire to play any force users! Just doesn't feel like star wars to me. Remember that part in the movie where Luke got a clutch heal from that sage while he was fighting Vader? oh wait..
  7. Khem Val is the Empire's Bowdaar.. he's tall, muscular, intimidating.. adn runs around naked.
  8. We're the heals in between the healing.. with slow release ticking away at about 2k every other second that's basically a non-crit heal. Our resource pool should be passively increased though like a sage, or lowering that scrapper talent Underdog down to tier 1. They're still playing around with it though, the current idea is giving us an extra upperhand to play with.
  9. In overall usefulness, order goes Sage > Commando > Scoundrel. I main scoundrel, so I don't wanna hear anything. I just had a debate with a sage in my guild and finally logged through all my alts and noticed that Scoundrel healers are the only one with no beneficial buffs from our healing skills, and we have the worst energy replenishment, just slightly below commando, but commando has more tricks to get some back.

  11. Hmm, I could have sworn I saw bioware mention something about actually putting a tier specific to nightmare, but will be a little delayed and not on immediate 1.2 patch. Removing normal is fine, and as for the OP's quote there, it says "Campaign" 146 gear. This could mean Tionese sets. Like our current daily system giving you those level 50 mods that come out to par with the tionese raid set, which was completely worthless btw, there could logically be a 2nd tier at say.. 148 and the final tier at 150 in a new operation for the Tier 2?? Logic is overwhelming omg.
  12. As a member of one of the few guilds that only does 16 man operations, I beg you to not make them easier than 8 man. They should be harder, because you have more people. If you're going to do anything to operations, how about fixing Soa's bugs? Like how he still traps the tank, the pylon landing on him but doesn't actually remove the shield, not being able to see the green aoe in phase 1, or maybe having all the loot drop while master looter is on? This is the only issues our guild had clearing Eternity Vault on Nightmare. The purpose of doing a 16m to me is you have sixteen plus really good competent players who can take on the extra challenge. It's an accomplishment to overcome, and the "concern" about it being harder just means those players weren't up to the challenge.
  13. My guild and I spent some time looking over the stats given by the Rakata tier and noticed the disturbing truth. This whole tier seems very half @**ed, all the enhancements are exactly the same. Healers get alacrity on literally everything, so they end up having far too much, and zero surge. Dps gets accuracy on literally everything, making again.. far too much. After sweeping through the vendors we came to the conclusion that only two items in the whole tier has a viable enhancement. Both of these items are weapons for troopers. Project Storm Canon which gives crit and surge, and The Firestorm which gives power and surge. These two enhancments should have been mingled into the sets instead of forcing us to have to go through literally dozens of rakata trooper weapon drops just to yank out that enhancement and trash the weapon. As a healer, 8 of my rakata give me 51 alacrity for a total of 408 alacrity, only the implants offering surge, little power and crit. I have already altered my talents to remove the 4% increased alacrity to help negate this problem, but I'm still going to hit diminishing returns either way.
  14. Bravely going where every man has gone before... Dialog wise: M1-4X I found the most amusing, but for overall usefulness (as with any class really) the healer companion is always the best option, unless you level as a healer.. in which case you just take a dps companion.
  15. Yes, the stat allocation seems a bit silly.. but Aim is the right one. Several companions work this way. It's not a bug.

  17. Good thing I started taking original pictures when I asked.. just never bothered to upload them. I'd have to redo most of them though so they all look the same. Because I am that compulsive. I haven't been able to mimic the gorgeous Risha turned head though since I did her and Elara.
  18. Imperial one is in the works, as the imps on my server aren't very helpful I will be undertaking it myself.. so pictures will be coming along slowly over the next month.
  19. Yah, I'm having difficulty finding imperial's with the security key who aren't trolls or trying to hassle me for being a republic main. At this point, I'm willing to roll on your server and meet you on the fleet.. naturally coming to you means I can't repay the credits though.

  22. Lol... die in a fire? It would take me much longer to get through the imp side as I have little interest for it.. don't know the quests.. and would always end up slightly undergeared.
