  1. I have this one character having this issue. May be others, but this one is the main poster/purchaser. Anyway, sometimes when I right-click the GTN terminal it will bring up my inventory, but not the GTN. It may work if I go to another terminal, and will usually correct itself on it's own if I relog. It's frustrating when it happens in your stronghold as you have to go back to the fleet.
  2. Can we not have mounts automatically add to the action bars whenever we acquire them? Or at the very least, stop getting them double added?
  3. Here's an odd answer for you, I've actually been using Treek as a tank for my marauder. She can take some major hits, and still manages to put out a little bit of healing, along with pretty decent damage. The best part is mount/dismount to heal her, since I'm still nearly full health. Of course, I have her gear really stacked for my level, so that probably helps.
  4. I just gave up and got Treek, haven't looked back. I hated Vette, almost as much as Mako. And on the empire side, Treek is quite the vicious little furball! And the other plus side, I can jam through conversations w/out worrying about about companion points or whatever they're called. To be perfectly frank, I'd rather do this whole thing sans companion altogether, but Bioware made the characters too weak for that. I don't want to be a whirling dervish of power and destruction and oh, also, that other guy or girl was there.
  5. The only thing you should really complain about is if a DPS tries to pull the group. Everything else is their fault, and you should leave them to their fate. I'm pretty experienced in DPS and heals, if I pull agro off a tank and it's a silver or less, that's fine. Just leave it, don't worry about chasing it, don't complain in the group. It's what I do, it's what I was made for, and if I bite off more than I can chew, let me die and suffer the consequences (I don't think I've ever died to this, save for when the tank goes down but that's a different story). If I'm a baddy I'll pull it too far for you to snap agro if I die, but then you just know you have a less experienced person and can decide accordingly. Doing the initial pull, that's a whole other ball of wax. All that initial agro will default to whomever pulls, then the second on the list will be heals. Take two seconds to let them know that's a no-no (it could be their first group, after all), and if it happens again, why that's why they invited the kick button.
  6. I would throw money at my screen for 40-50% increases!
  7. If the game has given any even the smallest interest in Star Wars, check out the Darth Bain books. It's much darker than what you would think of for Star Wars, and is what got me interested in the expanded fiction. There's some other good ones out there, but a lot of it really hit or miss. The Darth Bane books, though, seem to bear little resemblance to what you would think of as SW
  8. I had quit after a couple of months, but just re-subbed. I already know it probably won't last long. Here's my reasons: 5) This game should have released with a real LFG tool. There's one in now, I haven't messed with it really, but this was a big issue for me when I first quit 4) I feel like too much effort was spent on the myriad cut scenes, and not enough on game polish. 3) Too many random mobs. If you're not stealth, it feels like a great deal of time is spent wading through hordes and hordes of 3-somes 2) Lack of areas leveling areas. I'm of the honest opinion that I should have a least two places to play for nearly every level range. It's such a linear path every time you start a new character. And on that, there's only 2 starting areas for each faction. For an altaholic, this is nearly unbearable. 1) Companions. Well, not companions per se (though I honestly don't care for them very much), but because of companions you had to make enemies stronger or our characters weaker. The end result either way, at least while leveling, is that I often feel weak. You can tell I don't RP much, nor did I make it to 50 on my first run through And honestly, the only thing that has changed since I was gone is number 5
  9. I really can't stress how little I care about a comparison between this game and SWG. In fact, the bigger the delta between this game and that, the better. If that game was curing cancer, I want this one to give out SARS. Serial.
  10. So, here's a question.. which is more efficient with normal question, Vette or Quinn? I notice I end most fights with Quinn with my health lower than with Vette. She does have better gear, but not by leaps and bounds. Also I'm only 26. is it worth remodding to all str and gearing up quinn? Or should I stick with more HP gear and use vette? Or is that like the $64,000 question? For what it's worth I'd rather have more str and do more damage myself. I know a tank spec isn't supposed to pump out a ton of damage, but my Vicious slash at 26 does way less damage than my operatives shiv did at 19
  11. On Gilda the hutt or whatever, imperial side, I've rarely felt alone. I don't really keep track of the numbers, but casually I never really go far without running into at least a few people
  12. Also, as a follow up to my own post, I would like to say I'm betting you will not see something like this for at least one major content patch. Reason being, I've play all the empire classes up to around 20 or so. While that's not a real test by any stretch, I could definitely tell some classes put out much more DPS than others. I personally don't think that's too huge of a deal, but the second numbers get crunched you'll see a flood of players asking why x is stronger than y and demanding fixes.
  13. I didn't read any of the thread, I'm just answering the question. I would at least like a personal version where I can see my own dps. Don't get me wrong, I'm really not a min/maxer, but seeing my own numbers at least pushes me to try harder.
  14. That's all I'm asking for. I've not seen anyone asking to change class or advanced class, just to have duel spec in the same advanced class
  15. These arguments are all moot. It's more or less fine right now, but wait about 6 months when people start complaining on the forums they can't get heals or tanks for their groups. It will happen. It's already happening in general chat. I have both a tank and a healer, pretty good at both, but I still play my DPS characters more because guess what, I'm in a group a LOT less than when I'm playing alone. At this point I don't know when I'll be getting back to tank/heals, just because leveling feels like nothing but a grind. No matter how much you want this game to be hard core, it is not. Go play Vanguard. I don't think asking for duel specs is asking for the moon. Do you guys really not feel like you're overreacting to this request?
