  1. I stopped watching after the constant backpedaling and clicking.
  2. If you PvE for gear you're doing it wrong. (am I doing this right?)
  3. 1. DAoC 2. WoW 3. SWG 4. TOR & WAR (WAR had a better system, but I like TOR's combat more) Fun to some degree, but terrible at the same time: 1. Diablo 2. CoH The only MMO where I completely despised the PvP was Aion. Everything about that combat felt f2p.
  4. Well apparently, Rift isn't living up to the standard considering its drop to mediocre subscriber numbers. I'm starting to think the majority of the MMO playerbase are just tired of the genre, and don't want to admit it.

    Run circles and WIN

I'm a level 50 sin, I mouse turn, I don't have any problems with this.
  6. I actually do have arugment, sailor. You get 3 centurion commendations if you get no unassembled champ gear, so if you do get unassembled champ, you get 1 centurion commendation. Now imagine opening 30 bags, and getting the same champ relics and implants over and over. 30 bags later, which is about a week of dailies plus the two weeklies, you still can't afford a main piece of centurion gear. A tier set which is barely better than an orange with level 50 mods in it. This happens to me and my guildies, we're lucky to get one centurion piece a week from the flood of implants and relics that drop. If you find this acceptable, by all means, keep defending it.
  7. Aion was not a challenge. Challenge =/= grinding. This is from someone who leveled to 50 in Aion, and got a couple pieces of endgame gear himself.
  8. What MMO would that be? In any MMO I've played with PvP gear, you can at least get the first tier in about 1-2 weeks. Hell, even in Aion you could farm the abyss tokens. In this game there's really no way of knowing.
  9. On my 12th bag in a row with nothing. I swear they stealth nerfed it in 1.0.2d
  10. Because BF is a MMORPG, right?
  11. Yes, with battlemaster gear, and popping stims/adrenals/relic at the same time, it's possible.

    I am God, name me.

*on my scoundrel, after you do that* dodge, disappearing act, wait a about 3-4 seconds, do my opener all over again. Done this about 30 times with great success. But honestly, most of the time people aren't quick enough to hit their CC breaker, or it isn't up (I'm assuming).

    Sad but true

I doubt Arenanet got the idea for Charr from Warcraft 3.

6 million in most parts of the world, including all the expansion packs. Compared to the other highest selling PC games, which have like 5 million boxes sold just from their expansion packs alone, it isn't a whole lot. It's still an accomplishment for sure, but it isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be.

You'd need modifiers for that, unless your mouse has a couple other buttons.

It's still kind of funny that you can play the entirety of the game on a naga.

It doesn't have random encounters, but it does have a map that's not broken down into instances like a BG or something. So I think the WvWvW could be considered world pvp.

I enjoyed JE, DA, MF, DA2, and somewhat enjoyed MF2. KOTOR obviously being one of my favorites next to Baldur's Gate. You're entitled to your opinion, I just don't see how Arenanet has that much more passion when they only have one game (released), that's honestly not that spectacular. But at the end of the day I guess it's just our silly opinions.

I'm not sure why you think Arenanet has more passion than Bioware, the only game they've ever created outside of GW2 is the first Guild Wars, which was decent. If you're implying Bioware has lost their passion over years of making great titles, I guess we'll have to wait for more TOR patches and MF3 to decide that. But the problem is we're making this argument under the assumption that GW2 is going to be absolutely amazing and lives up to the hype. Which MMO's rarely ever do, but we'll see.

Same song and dance, I think this exact thing has been said a million times just with a different MMO name inserted. GW2 and TOR will coexist. Both will coexist with WoW.
