  1. Bioware please fix this guy. He and his adds are still bugged. I'm all for a challenge but this is ridiculous.
  2. Wow, so much crying going on. I am one of those "Hardcore, Elitist" PvPers, but seriously wins = Teamwork. You can have a group of fairly to poorly geared people who know how to play and can work together well overcome a team of BM wearing people. I know plenty of people wearing full BM that just , well lack any kind of skill and are not even a challenge. While I agree that losing does have some pretty severe consequences as far as comms, valor etc, it really isn't the end of the world. That should invoke you who are crying, to gather some people and start making premades and working together. Every warzone is a team effort it is not and never has been a 1 man show. Need to have the right composition in every match to succeed making a premade helps. I normally run with a Guardian and 2 heals and myself as dps. About 60-70% of the time we win and it really depends on the rest of the group makeup as well as the other team. Having overall 3 healers on your team is gonna help the team tremendously as well as 1-2 tank types to guard and helps mitigate group dmg. Try thinking about strategy and teamwork in order to win instead of crying about not getting everything handed to you on a silver platter.
  3. Although I didn't always like how certain productions were made or the storyline of them from Lucas, it was nevertheless entertaining and that is what counts. Even if there is some little continuity issue here or there, no one is perfect especially when dealing with the Star Wars Universe. I still thought all the movies were entertaining entirely. I was also pleased with how 1-3 turned out. I wasn't a big fan of pod racing and personally I think probably could have done something else but its not my story its Lucas' story, and if thats how he wanted it thats what we get. For some of you who claim because you paid for it, therefore its yours, got some very very deluded dreams of grandeur. I mean one could say the same about a child, gave birth raised it, and sent it out into the world, does that mean that child now and adult is the property of everyone or belongs to everyone? No, no matter how old they are they are still someones child/offspring and no on can take that away. No matter how much money you throw at it. Instead of blowing a blood vessel and getting red in the face raging about Lucas or some little slip in one of the stories, sit back and just take the movie/book/show for what it is...... ENTERTAINMENT. Plus... it's Fiction get over it.
  4. The fleet is the only place I see that actually doesn't combine all the instance chats into one general. As for planets it doesnt matter. But really lets say there are 1000 total people on the fleet of which they are divided in to 4 instances of the Fleet. General Chat for the most part can get really overwhelming with the spamming and the "who can piss further into the wind" contests that really multiplying by 4 would just be ridiculous. However say if you are trying to find a group a global LFG channel is good or using the LFG flag on your /who list. Me personally I like this game quite a bit. I'm glad they had some clairvoyance of the Fleet being overpopulated vs the rest of the planets and divided its chat. Sure I could turn off general chat but I also use it for certain things and if the chat log is moving at lightspeed then really its useless. Perhaps a little later after the initial swarm of new players enters and the redundant questions cease they may merge the chats but I wouldn't count on it right now. They just are too many " What goes with <crewskill>?" "Where do I train or respec?" "How can I change my AC?" spamming general. OF which Answers to all of these questions can be found via Map or Codex.
  5. If ya nerf Sorc Healing you are gonna destroy Sorc PVE. There are some rough fights that a sorc healer can be strained a bit on in PVE. Their healing isn't really that op. Could always oh I dunno...... INTERRUPT!! 9/10 Ill sit there healing in PVP and never get interrupted and then people complain about it. Jesus... learn your class abilities.
  6. Force Lightning has a CD if you don't spec into Madness. Your point has been nullified
  7. I postd a moment ago that I play a 45 sorc healer. I also play a 35 Sith Marauder and a 35 Powertech. In no way of those three so far have I seen either one being extremely more dominant than another. Then again none are 50 yet with a bunch of pvp gear. But regardless there are those who don't play this class Sorc/sage who are just gonna whine consistently and probably get heard, or who makes one to level 10 and pvps and says omg so OP when they really arent just so they can post about it as if it was valid.
  8. Not all premades are completely full premades. I was in one where 3/4 of the team was premade. Even so we ended up winning but not by a whole lot where the other team was just random. Get your own premade going if you have such an issue with it. Plus PVP isn't the only thing this game has to offer. Still very early on in this games life but the PVP available and its mechanics are far better than alot of other games I've seen recently and in the past.
  9. As a Sorc healer (currently lvl 45), I will say that yeah I can keep myself up when being beat on by 1 maybe 2 people but then again I can't keep anyone else up and eventually my force runs out or I get stunlocked into oblivion. However I am very squishy it doesn't take a whole lot to take me out 1 stun can severely cripple me where I can't heal to recover if I don't do jus tthe right thing. But with that said if I'm not targeted yeah whomever I am healing most likely won't die unless the whole other team outdpses my heals. As for FP's alot of times I help dps because the healing is more than sufficient enough to do both. Otherwise I just sit there jumping around in a circle waiting. I don't think a nerf should be in place because occasionally there are those really hard hitting fights where even my healing is strained (pve). Overall the OP is correct even in dps sorc they are no more powerful than some other classes. Some people whine because well the sorc that just destroyed them was probably in some decent pvp gear where the dead was a lower level with none. This whole topic of sorcs are op needs to be put on hold for awhile. A couple weeks of live play is hardly long enough to determine the validity of the claim. After about 90 days since live launch if you still see Sorcs dominating over everything I'd be surprised. For most part itll balance itself out with the diversity of classes that are coming forth. At launch there were a ton of Inq sorcs and assasins. At this point in time those numbers are thinning out a bit. The only thing I can think of that needs a bit of tweaking in PvP at this moment in time is the sheer amount of stuns available and the fact that immediately leaving a stun and being restunned is almost full duration is deadly. A little more of a diminshing returns on recently stunned people might be a bit helpful. Also I was just in a WZ where a Jedi Sentinel was only person attacking me each and every time he killed me if i didnt get help. My force would run out and I'd be dead and hes still trucking with 50+% hp left. So to further say Sorcs are OP is ignorant.
  10. I'd suggest not rushing to get him. It's really not that big of a deal. Plus if you keep your companion geared appropriate to its level. Khem if properly geared for his level can last quite a long time even if you are dps plus it helps quite a bit when you got a pocket tank and beast him up so you never get hit and you can just blow stuff up. I usually tend to leave Khem in DPS Stance because I play as heals and I let him do most of the killing, if its too slow and the mobs dont hit too hard I'll bring out Andronikus to burst stuff down. When he's properly geared he can easily kill just bout anything in a hurry.
  11. Sorc healing I find to be very enjoyable. Especially when you get up a bit higher in level got alot of different options to choose from. Speccing right as well really helps especially when you buff up Static barrier to give the target dmg reduction helps in some longer fights when force regen is more important. I tend to refresh barrier on the tank as often as needed use resurgance as often as needed or keep it up on tank at almsot all times unless hes just not taking much damage. When he takes a bit of burst dmg use Innervate which is extremely handy. A nice 3 second channeled heal which does quite a bit of healing. If others take some minor dmg here and there throw resurgance on them and they should be relatively fine may need to hit them with a dark heal for a quick minor heal but be careful with that if overusing it will drain your force fairly quickly. Sometimes if you can judge the dmg and timing right go with the longer cast Infusion. Usually can hit decently hard with that and top anyone off unless really low. If alot of dmg is going out barrier people quick Revivification. Resurgance them all and refresh when needed should help to alleviate while you keep focus on tank. After a little practice youll get used to the healing needed. I find it quite enjoyable actually and so far haven't had too many issues healing. Aside from one time being slightly underlevel for a Flashpoint and healing was a bit of a strain on some heavy hitting mobs. Oh also my ideal build.. some may or maynot agree completely but meh works for me http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201GGbRrdMdGzZf00MZ0z.1
  12. Perhaps because it is still fairly early in the game not everyone has had alot of experience or practice in how the PvP works... give it some time then check it out. Plus complaining about Sorc stuns, if I am not mistaken EVERY class has a similar stun and duration so your arguement is invalid. I have PvPed as Sorc at level 35 and sometimes I do well others it seems like I cant do much at all. Its really dependant on your opponents skill and what they are actually using. If a smuggler is just using rapid shots well yeah you are gonna kick their face in using force lightning because that dps is weak and only meant for Energy conservation or regen. Stop whining about Sorcs really they are easy to kill they wear light armor,... they are squishy but yes they pack a punch.. essentially "Glass Cannons". Now present some real hard evidence a Sorc is OP and maybe just maybe it'll be taken seriously. As a side note. Unless there is an extremely obvious like IWIN button somewhere no nerfs/adjustments should happen for any class for at least 90 days to really get some good quality numbers.
  13. It's not necessarily anything particularly wrong with your gear if its scaling up as you get new pieces. Generally each planet has a level range of mobs and a certain difficulty. Each new planet you visit along the quest line does get considerably tougher a level 24 mob on Nar Shadda is infact weaker than a level 24 mob on Tattoine although they are the same level its the low end of those mobs on new planet. A weak normal 24 on Tattoine would almost be consider a strong on Nar Shadda. So just take that into consideration when switching planets to be cautious at first and see how things go before jumping into the fray taking on big groups.
  14. One of the best BH helmets I have seen so far has dropped out of Boarding Party 34ish Flashpoint. It actually starts resembling the iconic BH look fully enclosed almost Fett like.
