  1. Bump! I wouldn't even mind if they created a planet solely for players to develop. Give Republic one side and Imperials another or something, and let us go wild like The Sims (or maybe like SWG? Never played that, though).. Guild ships as a base, player-controlled planet, open-space exploration .. what fun!
  2. Thanks for all the answers. I know people told me to play what I enjoy, but the thing is, it's not just the character that makes the game fun - it's the interaction with people and the environment. I also am not against playing ANY character, and while Inquisitor healer is my first choice, it's ultimately the healing that I want to do =)
  3. Do you feel squishy? How does PvP work for you as a healer? and gear competition? (I haven't played any flashpoints or heroics or anything)
  4. Not a matter of balanced or not balanced, I just feel like it's not as fine or involving .. The videos I've watched all seem to just hit the same couple buttons depending on the situation. Is healing in this game fun? I tried a BH for a couple levels in beta, it was pretty fun destroying things
  5. I want to heal! I love it. WoW, Guild Wars, City of Villains (whatever healing was for that), even in offline RPGs I heal whenever I can. The thing is, I just can't get used to the idea of healing with a gun or whatever IAs and BHs do. I want to heal as a Sorcerer! However, I heard that there are just billions of Sorcerers and that they're not even great at healing. I play for fun, but I've experienced groups where there are a ton of the same class and very few of others.. it's harder to grab groups, people are pickier, you're first in line to be replaced if a friend wants in, etc etc. What do you guys think? Should I try tanking or DPSing as another class? I don't mind that either as I enjoy every single roll, but healing is just my little niche. I'm not against playing ANY class honestly, and if I'm wrong about BH and IA healing by all means, correct me. Looking forward to an answer!!
  6. Not sure if this is the right forumarea, but has anyone tried to run the game under Windows 8? I want to try it out because I heard good things, but I also want to play the game =p
  7. Based on my limited experience playing this game in beta, I feel that this game actually does away with the "oh this is a healing class" stereotype due to the Advanced Class system coupled with the fact that many classes can in effect heal. Personally, I plan on healing as a Sorcerer, but I also agree with what that other guy posted above me: MMO vets don't stereotype as much. The game community here hopefully will be mature as it is more fantastical-based in incredibly popular lore, and those who play this game hopefully are the ones who love single player RPGs but are starting to feel lonely in them, if that makes sense.. For example, playing Skyrim .. It's awesome until you yearn to see other actual players playing
  8. This is ridiculous. I'd give them a B- because of their enthusiasm, effort and support. I'm not in the early access, and I understand why they're doing it. 1) Incentive to preorder 2) Discover bugs before the official official launch 3) To ease the servers into the huge amount of customers 4) Stuff I don't know This is probably the most active development team I've seen in a while. They're actually explaining what they do, they respond directly to questions, and they're trying new things while keeping what works in other MMOs. The reason they're not an A is because their web site is hard to navigate on certain occasions.
