  1. This bug killed the GTN for me. I'm a crafter and I can no longer sell anything on GTN after the latest patch. Hope they'll fix that quick.
  2. What do you think of this new helmet? Reminds me of a super car model... http://www.theverge.com/2014/8/15/6005127/stormtrooper-helmets-from-star-wars-episode-vii-design-leak
  3. Better play The Sims... Actually after the "house" thing implamented to the game it will be more or less like The Sims. Buy new furniture, add new rooms, "interact" with your wife/housband. Btw, are we gonna have birth control in the game anyway?
  4. I was planing to rec. a Razer SWTOR mouse but anyway
  5. Is it normal that much of "eating and drinking" involved in zen? Well the answer is "yes" I believe. Buddha says that his best known miracle is "to drink when he wants and to eat when he wants" So go for it dude...
  6. Armorings does not have set bonuses but the armors does. Do not mix these two. You'll learn to craft the armorings if you crit, that's all.
  7. Level of the orange gear is changed by the level of augments, armorings and mods on it. If you put a level 33 armoring on a level 1 orange gear it will become level 34 orange gear from now on. Level 1 orange gear has no use as it has nothing on it.
  8. I haven't soloed any of the two missions from the start. After a few deaths I've figured out when to interrupt and when to attack, also which companion is better. Try a little harder. Everytime it gets easier
  9. Agreed. I'd like to see that option in my account for the same reasons.
  10. You are free to go friend. No level restrictions for crafting.
  11. If this is your first character in the game then I suggest you pick Cybertech, Schavenging and Underworld Trading. You will need to make upgrades to orange armors(armoring and mods mainly) during the game. This way you'll keep your armors up to date, cheaper.
  12. I'm on ToFN and didn't like GSF at all. Played a few times but no, it is not my thing.
  13. Afaik there is no "secret" behind it. Same random engine works for all the companions including the crew droid. You may also add some more crit or efficiency by buying modules related to your crew skill from the ship merchant droid. You have to buy that ship merchant droid from the legacy options. A part from that, your crits are only about luck.
  14. As you have said both Biochem and Cybertech are good for leveling your main or alts. Regarding the end game, I would say, only Biochem is a little usefull for the reusables but Cybertech has no use unless you "try" to RE the high level armorings and mods. Even if you succeed on REing, you will need to farm rare materials to produce them. If you only have one character, you don't even need a crew skill but if you need to level some alts, both Biochem and Cybertech are needed IMO. Edit: For end game Cybertech crafting this topic may help.
  15. You think there is no lag problem in europe servers? Well, think again... Some days it is just unplayable.
  16. Why don't you go check the GTN prices? It will be more accurate. Just observe for a few days and figure out the price range yourself.
  17. For me, it is not about killing but about the reasons to kill. We all have to eat. To do that we have to feed on organic materials such as vegetables and animals. So we have to kill in order to keep on living. As long as we don't kill more than we need, our intention is "light". That makes the acts just. Killing, even though it is not necessary and for self needs only (for enjoyment etc.) is considered as an act of "dark side". "Killing, to save others' lives" or not, that's the question
  18. What people think about us is simply overrated For example, I've bought a Razer "crap" and I just don't care what you think about it...
  19. "Reverse engineering". Just check the previous posts and stickies about crafting. For short; You have to RE green mods to blue ones, and blue ones to purple ones. You have to crit in order to get them though. You may need a series of attempts.
  20. Not just a companion but I would like to play a Voss storyline with a Voss character. They have an interesting culture imho...
  21. I'm using SWTOR Razer mouse for over a year now. If you are planning to buy one and use it on wireless, I do not recommend. There are connection problems when it is on wireless. I couldn't solve it with firmware updates and couldn't send it to amazon or Razer because of the high shipment costs. But the numeric key pad on the side of the mouse is incredibly usefull. When on wire, the response is beautifull and the command keys are right under your thumb. Great experience.
