Powertechs are awesome in the game. I have a level 50 Mar and decided to try Powertech. Only at lvl 21 and i'm in the top 3 every time. There's so much you have as a powertech. AoE being the biggest, also negating enemies from outputing damage with neural dart. Shielding others. I can beat Juggs 1v1. I've done 150k damage and 80k protection before. That's 80k the other team didn't get.

I'd rather have more power than a chance at crit. All my enhancements are Acc/Power. My relic is Rakata boost to Power. I use stims that give me str/power.

I realized other classes can't do **** against us 1v1. We had a tournament of duels in our guild between level 50s and I did pretty well. As Rage even over carnage marauder. Other classes get extremely screwed over when they don't have the buffs of others. You're health while fighting will go down but keep ripping that damage and time your CDs right. While smash is our biggest asset, its great at destroying personal shields. You destroy that...others turn squishy. Plus, other classes are in the same boat as far as CDs. No stun in this game matters if you don't capitalize on it and when people fight us, they freak out due to their health going down real fast they forget their timers. Plus, fights are extremely fast for us unless you fight an operative which are super *******.

Don't hold your breathe tho. I do hope they fixed performance in Ilum tho, crossin' fingies!!!

In the semi-words of James Earl Jones...You don't understand the power...of the RAGE!!! I did Carnage and it was pretty cool. Massacre and Gore, very nice. Went to rage though... and I like it better. I think its just taste though. I like choking people and then smashing them. I get a kick out of that. I go back and forth between PvE and PvP too much and my guild loves my Rage. I'm the mob destroyer. With us and our lovely Melee DPS, the game gets boring watching people just run around and kite stuff.

I just think it's super hilarious the Rakata Gear we get. Who thought up that? I know I'm a cyborg already but that takes it a little far. At least I get pant tho. Not cool pants but pants none the less.

I hate warzones to death because people would queue for that just for some valor or commendations and not actually try to get the win. Now my lvl 50 char sucks because he has full PvP gear but i get steamrolled because i can't find a group to roll with in WZ. Now, on Ilum, I have a lot of fun just gather people for an Ops against Rep players. My server is Grand Master Zym and we don't usually have a ton of people in Ilum anyways. We can usually fight equal mobs of Republics so we have great battles. I know the whole thing went down yesterday, but none of that happened on my server. I still think we outnumber the republic but its a PvE server so not a lot of PvPers there. I do agree that expertise is lame. PvP gear has been great though, especially when you can't finish a HM due to bugs.

Only way a Marauder is OP is when he attacks the right people. Don't go attacking guys that are shielded to death or try to fight stealth players. Go after healers. Go after mobs if you are RAGE like me. Had some great fights in Ilum last night because its a PvE server and not that many people play so i'd say it was 15 vs 15. We eventually took over Ilum, but it was an epic fight. Waaay better than WZ bs.

Know why I don't have your problem? I'm at work. I won't have your problem when I get off work and log on too because that's when everyone else will get on. You're playing too early.

Just give it time, others will roll a Rep char sometime. Don't know why they aren't already because Trooper is OP.

I'm not on that server but Rep on mine tried to gank us on Ilum and we weren't having it. Sorry not a lot of people are rolling Rep but don't group up and think ur going to save the galaxy from Sith any time soon. 10 Op Rep soon got rolled by 25 Ops Imp.

Ranged doesn't feel Star Wars enough for me. I like melee DPS. I know there are a billion shooting scenes in SW but everyone loves the lightsaber duels more and that's what I get out of this game. I'm not a WoW or EQ or general MMO fan. I try to fit in but I'm going to play the damn class I want. It's BW job to not make us feel gimped. I play this advanced class well because I've given 110% to it, learning it from others and experimenting. Now that PvP is fixed for a bracket for just 50s, its time to gear up or reroll. I think we are OP and other classes just don't want to feel weak next to our power. I'm from Buenos Aires and I say Kill Them All (ok, I'm from Texas but its still a cool line).

Things I want that I seem to see other classes get away with: Speed sprint Force Push Force Pull Stun(a real one) Shield Heavy Armor I also want my force choke to work and give me a few seconds of invul while doing it. A few more seconds of Force Camo. Any changes from above, would most likely make me waay too OP. I already rank high in damage and avg 6 medals. If I had to pick one, i'd choose force pull.

Yeah, that's right about the PvP purple LS. No modding. But everyone loves it when I kill people in a cutscene with it.

There's 3 of every color for almost all items. Crystals I know, have boosts for end, crit, and power, so out of green, blue, and purples that's the 9 possibles. Same for offhands, like for example 3 blues can have identical stats of the same product but one can boost crit, or alacrity or straight up more defense. To open those 3 blue possibilities, you have to keep RE'ing Greens of that item.

I got the 5k yesterday as a Marauder you haters. Used a buff that increases damage and healing. I'll take all the medals i can get since i'm CC'd every 2 seconds.

She does, but for Marauder it gets to a point where its easier if you are healed in combat than trying to out DPS the mobs.

i roll with Rage and do just fine. There are times when every BH is out to get me though. Truthfully, unchecked we wreck the crap out of people. If not, its CC and knockback hell.

Only thing I hate is how my offhand saber is gimped. Needs more base damage. If they are going to give Troopers and other classes so many CCs, and heals then at least let me rake in more damage for the time i have before the next CC, or slow. I love how in boarding party PvP, I can have 4 or 5 guys on me CC'ing me not near the doors but my teammates can't seem to plant the bomb. 1v1 I'm okay with...I'll at least kill the guy or he'll be licing his wounds and out of the fight for a few.
