  1. From what I'm getting from BW (Nothing) they don't seem to think anything is wrong. So now instead of trading an assault location instead Republic sits at their base because they can't leave without getting obliterated by the Imps waiting outside. There is still a 4:1 ratio, Imps still control every base and farm 4x as much Valor per kill and since I don't hear anything from BioWare regarding Ilum Im assuming their happy with the results. I sure wish I could get to BM in half the time like the Imps can because they can farm thousands of valor sitting at our base in Ilum. But no, Im stuck doing WZs cuz thats the only way to have an equal fight in the game. Bioware, if you don't care about the imbalance of PvP get rid of the insane incentives of PvP gear. It's not fair 1 faction gets it with so much less effort simply because they have the numbers. It's frustrating investing hundreds of hours in a game to reach a goal the other faction got in half the time. I cancelled my subscription when Ilum first broke because the incentives were so imbalanced between the Emp and Repub it made me sick. I wish they fixed it but I just dont see it happening. Oh well. Goodluck BW. Anyone else seeing the same things on their server?
  2. BioWare is blind... I feel no love since they dont care about Republic players. Thanks for making every single decision in game to benefit the Empire tho. - Ilum Spawn Camping Valor gains go to Empire - Ilum Dailies go to Empire (Since they outnumber Republic everywhere 10-1. So we cant collect armaments cuz the camp there and if we approach we get jumped by 10x our number. - WZs go to Empire since all lvl 50s get a free Battlemaster title for camping Ilum and not getting punished. - Abilites for Republic players are delayed vs. Empire in PvP and they still haven't fixed it months after release. Damn I hate being a troll but I just can't take how little BioWare cares. Please Bioware stop all production on Generals 2, I would hate for a beutiful game to take the same dump The Old Republic took after KotOR and KotOR 2.
  3. You're a genius bro. Every person in here wants to think their class is better than other classes in some way. One way to do that is to give the underdog the advantage in a 1 on 1 fight. Emps will switch over because they will want to go around and faceroll people jsut like they do now with sheer numbers. Hell, I wanna faceroll people in a 1 on 1 fight too! If that happens it would bring Ilum into a game of strategy, 2 sides of equal power fighting for bases. Instead of 1 side owning all bases and the other side luring that side into the turrets in their base. GG
  4. I'll be the first to admit that as a Repub, playing Ilum for about 2 hours just trying to keep them from overrunning the base I earned roughly 70-80k valor. Now this was with no bases under our control and gaining 70 valor per kill. I believe just like myself many Repubs showed up to prevent the Empire from overrunning our base and destroying the turrets (We spam healed those turrets from 17% health back to full health at one point) for as long as possible to avoid the games PvP being ruined for all Republic players. Once the Dev announcement released about turrets giving no valor most our Ops group left and I resumed PvP in WZs. Within 15 minutes of that announcement our base was overrunning and the Emps were spawn camping us. (I saw this after coming out of a WZ while still in Ilum) and that was the last time I was there. Now, the point im trying to make is, sure I scored 2 levels of valor from 53-55 while I was in Ilum defending our base. But the Emps where scoring 200 valor for the same 70 we were getting. This unique kill crap people are talking about is dumb. If you were actively engaged every assist I got was valor. Thats why the Emps were spamming lightning. Every person who died and were hit by the lightning gave them valor. Any healing or AOE class benefit the most from this little clash. Melee dps got screwed and really had to work for their valor. To sum it up. Republic Players earned 70 Valor per kill for 2 hours came out to 70-80k valor. Empire Players earned 200 Valor per kill for 2 hours came out to 200-230k valor. That is significant, and unfortunately this was only achieved because of player imbalance and the Empire can overrun any Republic base due to sheer numbers. I'm happy I was able to score a few easy levels but at the same time am disappointed that the Empire had it so easy to level up 3x as fast as us. I expect to see a lot of Sith Inquisitors with BM titles after today.

  6. The longer BioWare goes on without fixing Ilum the more people will be cancelling their accounts. No player wants to play PvP when its 1 sided, and when all the Repubs have to work for Battlemaster and Emps get it free, its only a matter of time before every Republic player gives up on the game. BioWare has a ticking time bomb here. Activision and Blizzard are ROFL as I type this.
  7. I dont even have to post a screenshot. Everyone whos reading this knows what Im talking about. 10-1 ratio in Ilum is just "fun" especially when their crawling in our base farming respawns. I love BioWare to death but they really fu**ed up. So... how many more Republic are we gonna lose to the Empire before its so one sided that BioWare either has to get rid of one side or crawl back into the singleplayer gaming hole they crawled out of. This is a joke.
  8. Are there long WZ ques? Im Republic and at most Ive waited up to a minute before getting in. As far as server inbalance goes, it doesnt hurt the lesser side because we get into WZs fast, its the side that is overpopulated that I could see a problem. Regardless, I'm enjoying my time in my PvP server and havent had to deal with much ganking so far.
  9. I hope we get a wider dissemination of access keys today. Goodluck everyone!
  10. Impressive! Try telling the community to wait 16 hours to play and see how some of them respond. I guess we shouldnt be surprised though. This is in fact a game and as a gamer I don't expect other gamers to adhere to the standards that many of us have grown into or learned over the course of our years of maturing and learning. I'd imagine many of the complaints are from adolescents. Even the ones that aren't may not have grown up in much of a stable enviornment and use these games as an escape. I hope they find it, however I can't be surprised to see some of that anger and aggression translate onto the forums pages.
  11. As we should have all expected, these waves of emails granting access are coming and going and MOST of us still don't have access to the game even though we preordered it. Bioware announced long ago the early release was to be the 15th, some of the community is playing TWO DAYS earlier than we had anticipated! So why all the complaining? For all of you who want to blow through this game in a matter of days you are completely overlooking what Bioware wanted to create for this game. A "Story" that we can get involved in. Don't treat this game like all the other MMOs and burn through it! Try to enjoy the story Bioware has spent so much energy creating. Theres no "First to 50" achievement so whats the rush? We're all going to get there sooner or later so enjoy the time you have outside of the game while you can because once you get the invite, lets be honest here, this game is going to consume our time.
