  1. Great tip - usually aren't they just 60 CC though? Still, not having to spend 60 CC is always a plus too
  2. Yeah :/ It sucks being on the bad end of it though. It would be neat if there was a "can't get same item twice" thing built in with the BOP items at least
  3. You can skip a lot too if you're just trying to get to the new content. Doing Makeb for a few levels - switch to Revan once you hit 55 or so - then stick with that till 60- you'll be good.
  4. Perhaps throwing $5 at SWTOR will help unlock more options too (to make it Preferred Status)
  5. Basically echoing what was said by JediQuaker - but for myself I just vendor everything I dont need. Its just a bit of a hassel to rip mods out for alts (and can be expensive too). If its not something that I care to keep around for dress-up, it meets the vendor.
  6. I use the Jawa Junk myself once in a while for turn in. My Account - Forum Management - Update your forum signature Also here - https://account.swtor.com/user/forum
  7. You have to be on the same part as each other I believe - but you can duo the Instances. Its super fun being with a friend, both companions, and each having a Jesus Droid to clean up everything nicely.
  8. I don't know exactly how much you can "romance", but playing KOTFE or not shouldn't matter
  9. All. The. Time. is right - (for me at least). I know on my end, if its not too incredibly annoying based on your internet speed, a Uninstall / Reinstall of the entire game should fix it - or sometimes just a fresh restart of the computer and restart of SWTOR application a few hours later may fix it too. (easy but annoying routes). There are quite a few forum posts out there regarding this - you'll likely find the better responses on the official EA forums (for SWTOR help) http://answers.ea.com/t5/STAR-WARS-The-Old-Republic/quot-This-application-has-encountered-an-unspecified-error-quot/td-p/4886325
  10. This is what you should focus on - if you have a CC chestpiece that you really like, you'll have to get the rest of the set as well. Some sets have 7 pieces, some only 4 - it varies depending on the set. You'll have to get the rest of the pieces and equip them all on a single character - it will then "unlock" that set in the collections tab, which you can then pay CC (60, 240, or 400 depending on rarity I believe) to globally unlock across all characters. You'll be able to spawn as many sets of the armor as you like too - make all your companions match! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  11. I'm still waiting for a Jawa option myself
  12. thank you i'll use that later to pick those up finally
  13. some things unfortunately you may have to wait for - once you become a higher level credits are much easier to farm / gather Otherwise you could purchase some Cartel Coins, but some packs off the Cartel Shop, then sell the packs on the GTN once the Bind-period ends. You could roughly estimate how many credits you need - versus how many CC of items it'll take to gather that many.
  14. I would just look at what is the best bang for your credits. I'm a casual player though myself, so I cannot justify paying a lot more credits for just a couple extra points, but I think either would work just fine.
  15. Smart I bought just 10 packs of the newest one the other day - didn't get the item I wanted, but got a couple gold items and silver ones that netted about 6-7 million in total revenue. Its "safer" to just buy the packs and resell the packs as is - but way more "funner" to buy the packs, open them up, and then sell what you get out of it
  16. i wouldn't mind seeing some direct sales from time to time like the Xoxaan set that was out recently.
  17. I would test out multiple characters to see what character you like fighting stuff with. I can at least give you my 2 cents for characters I've played Bounty Hunter (merc) was a blast to play, though I felt it was the most confusing to figure out a proper rotation. I ended up just clicking random abilities most encounters and then any ability that flashed. I felt their abilities took up at least 3 hotbars. The BH had my favorite list of companions though (Blizz mainly ) (Plays similar to Trooper I believe) Smuggler (Gunslinger) was super fun. Made sense for me more than - easier to navigate. I liked the cover mechanic (plays similar to Agent from what I've heard). Sith Inquisitor (Assassin) I found to make the most sense rotation wise. I figured out what abilities to keep up and I enjoyed being able to AOE basically infinitely (BH and Smugg were able to for the most part too) Sith Warrior (Marauder) Was probably easier to play than my inquisitor, but I couldn't stealth. And I couldn't use AOE infinitely (since the one move cost rage that you needed to build up) if I remember correctly. Jedi Knight (Guardian) played basically the same as the Marauder - I didn't see that significantly of a change of how fighting went. Anyways, hopefully that somewhat sort of helps perhaps....
  18. Very great suggestions for someone starting fresh with a 60 without any income sources. But yeah - OP - if you're just focused on the end-game and gear, dont worry about it. I am one who enjoys the trip more than the destination, so I would always recommend playing through class stories. I'm reserving my free 60 for mainly just the other spec of a class I've already played (when I want two lightsabers instead of one for my Jedi Knight perhaps)
  19. what part was hard to solo? I found with a healing companion everything went easily as long as I didn't pull 2 packs of mobs at once. Perhaps you were in content that wasn't ideal for your level?
  20. yeah the instant 60 will start you with only the KOTFE chapters to be able to play
  21. Best guide i've found : http://dulfy.net/2014/01/21/swtor-thorn-rakghoul-resurgence-event-guide/
