  1. Really? You're asking us what you should do til saturday? Son... I am disappoint.
  2. GW2 broke the mold quite nicely with regards to that.
  3. Strip this game of its voiced dialogue and sub-class system and what do you have? This game uses more tried-and-true mechanics from WoW than not, right down to the mailbox mount camping and I wont try to hide that. I do enjoy it, though.
  4. Who cares how some pseudo celebrities slander each other. These people do not make the daily agenda for most people. And no, blog country is not an accurate assesment of most people. Bottom line, these women in the picture are certainly not fat. Anyone who calls Kate Upton, whom I just googled, fat too, is just plain wrong.
  5. "People will rebel to anything as long as it's not a challenge to them. :rak_03:" - Case in point, This is all well and good but when you start contributing SWTOR to the oppression of society you lose me. You simply can't draw that paralel and say that people who have no problems with SWTOR contribute to oppression in 'society'. I want to highlight this post by a gentleman on the second page because it's an all around decent objection that I could rewrite but it wouldn't serve a purpose: Humans objectify whatever they like. The slave girl outfit in Star Wars has been around for a long time. How many female cosplayers where the slave outfit? Are they objectifying themselves? The PC gender crap needs to stop. It's not based on reality. Women are objectified by their looks because how they look attracts mates and shows they are fertile. This is why girls try to be pretty, it's not just a cultural thing, it's a real life biological thing. Guys on the other hand are objectified by the resources they can provide. This is why guys are usual seen covered with a lot of clothing. Perfect example, high fashion for a lady is a dress that usually will show the bust line and a lot of leg. Guys wear expensive suits and shoes. There is a great amount of research available on the subject, and if you disagree you should go and find it. There is nothing offensive about it, it's simply life.
  6. Dancing, baking pumpkin pie oh and I gave a viking funeral to a bird after my dog broke its neck for flying into my house and trying to actually eat from my dogs food bowl. Soon that pumpkin pie will be mine.
  7. People will rebel to anything as long as it's not a challenge to them.
  8. Women pixels in-game being "nude" under the slavegirl outfit actually feels like a throwback to SWG. I dig it. But regarding the whole gender stereotype thing.. Stereotype is stereotype. They surface everywhere. Anything you can say in regards to in game dialogue is practially based on stereotypes. Iguess all I have to say is that I don't want you to get your knickers in a twist over it.
  9. I would consider simply picking up slicing and treasure hunting (for further schematics for your other crew skills). Not too sure about my third choice. Perhaps diplomacy for companion gifts.
  10. Because it should either be removed, renamed or the dynamics of the button changed. You are also free to enlighten us with any better alternatives. Evidently this button is too easy to a) misunderstand or b) misuse due to a lack of confirmation box.
  11. I will humor you and tell you how I "accidentally" abandonded my quest. I misclicked when I meant to press reset. Which resulted in me losing out on the entire chain and a title. In case you are somehow misunderstood my point, I want this feature changed so that you can pick up the quest, I thought this was fairly obvious. But I digress. To anyone else, to make it perfectly clear, I want to be able to pick up on an abandonded quest. Not be locked out of it forever. Or at any rate remove the button entirely and just make a button clearly stated "Delete Quest Forever". I should not have to read the fine print everytime I pick up a quest line to see if the items and or titles are really worth 'abandoning'. Or at the very least give me a warning that I may not be able to pick up on it again. Now that I do know the true intention of this feature I will not make use of it again. Oh, and before anyone else comes along and tells me it's my fault for.. clicking twice? I did not get a confirmation window that clearly states that you may not be able to pick up on the quest again (But does it really? As I said, I do not know)
  12. Hi Goretzu, I'm gonna take back what I said about Jump to Lightspeed. Not happening. I hoped that the old new space missions was a hint at a possible new expansion but I don't believe they will redo all of space by now. Hoped for it though!
  13. I'm a slow player and a founder and I am personally done with this game once I have completed my class stories. Effectively losing quests forever with the single (okay, two) click of a button is bad, plus of course all the other meaningless bugs I can live with. But if they decide to do away with the class stories at level 50, that's where I'll go and that is when I'll quit. I'm sorry to say BioWare, in the past I would go with this game because it was developed by you. Now I'm only here for Star Wars. /Whine done, /equip flame shield.
  14. Basically I have lost a whole quest chain on Dromund Kaas including a title and dark/light points, but more importantly to help me level up for my class mission. I accidentally abandonded the 'Life and Death" quest to go to Revan's cavern, now I am completely locked out of the Revanite compound, including from the quest giver in Dromund Kaas. I have successfully submitted a ticket to no avail, relogged, teleported to the fleet, tried quest sharing, all to no avail. And according to this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=470134#post4521471 This is a known 'feature' that won't be changed any time soon. Yet they are obviously aware that their "Delete this quest and its chain for good from your game" button can be 'irritating'. I implore you please get rid of this nasty 'feature', this has been my only suggestion (and complaint) about this game in the year I've subbed but I can only let so much happen without getting disappointed and this feature should really be changed.
  15. Off the top of my head: Planescape: Torment GTA: San Andreas Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines Diablo II + LoD and Median XL mod (or Zy-el) The Elder Scroll series. Find your favorite, they are all excellent.
  16. It's a shame. I'm really itching for some prime space combat-exploration after watching a certain video. Hey, at least we can still buy our own ship parts.
  17. Of course they are planning a space project. I called SWToR: Jump to Lightspeed a long time ago. Let's hope it's not followed up by any Rage of the Wookiees.
  18. By what? A hundred forum posts? I can understand that you personally favor sentinels and marauders but don't let that fool you into thinking they are a much more attractive class. They are a much more attractive class than a Guardian if you prefer to have three damage specializations, that much is true.
