  1. Announced features and currently implemented features are two completely different things. Rift, WoW, Warhammer, DCU, STO, LotRO, etc. all announced plenty of features that have never materialized, so I take "Announced Features" with a huge grain of salt. Once we actually have the feature is when it matters to the community. They can announce anything they want, doesn't change the fact that we don't have it yet.
  2. I agree with this completely rational, obviously unbiased, fact filled, opinion. Wait, no i dont.
  3. Planets I'd love to see: Dac - home planet of the Mon Calamari & Quarren Neimoidia - home planet of the Neimodians Utapau - home planet of the Utai & Pau'an Side note and bit of a nit pick for everyone saying the they want Endor because they want to see Ewoks. Ewoks are not technically from the planet Endor, they are from Endor's 2nd moon called the "forest moon of Endor" or "sanctuary moon". It is the farthest moon from the Gas giant planet of Endor. Again, just a nit pick.
  4. on my main 7.1 million with another 1.2 million spread across my alts
  5. I'm working on my 4th level 50 since EA and I hate leveling/questing and level extremely slowly because of that. If you have been playing since December, almost 4 months now, and haven't gotten to 50 on a single character then there is a problem. Seriously.
  6. Then an MMO isn't for you? All the people who complain that "there is nothing to do at 50" go take a look at that other game that people claim is so much better, there is nothing to do there at 85, just like there was nothing to do at 80, or 70 or even 60...except: Socialize Raid Run instances PVP Crafting Dailies Roll an alt Work on achievements Explore HOLY CRAP, that list looks like the exact same stuff you do at max level in all other MMO's as well including SWTOR!!! in SWTOR at 50 you can: Socialize Run Operations Run instances PVP Crafting Dailies Roll an alt Work on achievements/codex entries Explore / datacrons/ holocrons But there is so little to do. And again if you don't like doing ANY of that then maybe an MMO isnt for you, because they are all. the. same.
  7. I play using nothing but my massive telekinetic powers. The game responds at the speed of my very thoughts, so I am more efficient then those who keybind or click. Unless I'm drunk.
  8. A friend of mine knows this guy who's brother's girlfriend's babysits this kid who goes to school with another kid who's dad when to college with a guy who gets cofee at the same place a dude who cleans the offices of Bioware austin and he totally heard from this other guy who was cleaning the bathroom when a guy who was interning came in said the game has like totally failed and will go to a revolutionary new format call we pay you to play in like ten minutes ago.
  9. I named my IA Crais after Bilar Crais, the Peacekeeper captain from Farscape. I tried to play my IA as close to the way the character was portrayed in the series; loyal to a fault, determined, strong sense of duty, all things i thought an IA would aspire to have.
  10. This is the same reasoning i had when i went lightside with my IA.
  11. Ive had actual quests for Kalyio, Scorpio, Vector, and Dr. Lokin so they are there.
  12. I just want a countdown to appear on the abilities that are on CD.
  13. Completely agree with this. Red Goo is a pain to gather.
  14. Really? Where is he? Because i can't find him anymore. I know the Nightelf Mohawk character was once in the game for a couple of weeks handing out grenades in the starter zone coinciding with Patch 3.2.2 (2009-09-22) and the broadcasting of the commercial were Mr.T's account gets hacked. I haven't seen him since.
  15. Last night, Imperial fleet on my server never goes below 100-165 players. For two hours I formed PUGs for a hard mode flashpoints (I am a healer) with tons of luck. In that time I found several DPS (almost always at the same time), each of who were patient and good players. How is this considered bad for the game? I know that i will scream that a LFG kills the community. Do you know why an LFG tool kills the community for a game? People quitting the game because it is impossible to form groups competent groups to do the content. Just look at that other game with its LFG tool. Trolls, AFKers, Griefers, Ninja's and people wanting to be carried. It isn't any better (probably worse actually) at lower levels also. LFG allows people to forgo any form of responsibility and just do what ever they want because there is no consequences. If you form groups from your own server at least you have the ability to "discipline as a community" or blacklist the truly horrid players with bad attitudes. People will become known for their behavior, good or bad. Last week I was trying to form a group to help my friend with The Red Reaper, and we ended up having spectacular group and ended up adding the PUGs to our friends lists!. Luckily I am completely under-geared for a level 45 flashpoint and the group was understanding and willing to help, so we were able to do it that way. I'm sure for Republic players finding groups is easy on my server as well when there are 100+ people on their fleet since population imbalance is grossly exaggerated in most cases, but right now it seems like the best for all players players is toenjoy the game and continue building a strong community on their servers. Server specific forums would defiantly help more then a LFG tool.
  16. Will the ability to invite guild members to a group via the guild roster be implemented, because as of right now you have to add all your guildies to your friends list to be able to right click their name to invite or physically type out /invite soandso?
  17. I had a Razer Naga and a Naga Epic, and both broke within months of purchase. I got a G700 and it has worked flawlessly for over a year now. I like the Logitech a lot better because the Razer always felt small in my hands where as the G700 is larger and more contoured to the way i grip the mouse and the location of the buttons are more intuitive. Further the software for using the G700 is far more user friendly the the Razer ever was. I also like that i can use the G700 corded as well as wirelessly if the batteries are low. Overall a great mouse.
  18. Why is gravity invisible, why do we have a scientific concept we can not see? It's not like we can't see it in action every day in a myriad of circumstances. What sense does it make to keep gravity invisible to us? What possible reason could there be for this? Some bad answers I want to head off at the pass: "I can sense how much gravity I have when i fall out of a tree" Unless you're a super advanced Ultra-mega robot from Japan, no you can't. You just can't. And even the robot would need to know all the gravitational values anyway, and we just don't have this information. You might have a vague notion of how much gravity is acting upon you, but this is the whole problem I'm on about. Why not just show us like aging or weight gain? I can see someone get old, and i can see people get fat. Why can't we get a clear visual representation of gravity acting on people? And I don't want to hear how you can fall from a 20 story building better then someone else, quit waving around your gravity epeen.
  19. You mean the outdated and ignorant nearly 100 year old grammar book, The Elements of Style, that colleges and most educated people ignore? Is that what I should read to exercise my brain? Perhaps telling me to go read Language Log would have been more apt? Hrmm
  20. If you have a back injury you should be up exercising and strengthening your back rather then sitting around playing a computer game. I'm in healthcare as well.
