  1. The lack of feedback is irritating but understandable given the restructuring currently happening at BioWare. I'd hazard a guess that they aren't revealing any details on new content dates because of it.
  2. One of the biggest problems with RvR is that the engine simply isn't optimised to support a gathering of players and a reason that most mmo developers keep it out entirely. This may change in time but until the game can support over a hundred people in close proximity without running like a slide slow, RvR just isn't practical. The PvP itself has the potential to be good. Warzones with equally matched teams are a lot of fun but since there is no matchmaking system, it is more often then not unbalanced and frustrating.
  3. Ever been questing on a planet and then decided to go to the fleet to upgrade your weapons/armour, get supplies or whatever? It's a major PITA to get back to your location especially with all the loading screens and traveling, with that in mind a mark and recall ability would be a huge quality of life improvement. The ability would first allow a player to mark an outside location on any planet with a flare and then get a special priority transport back to that location, for a price of course(higher depending on what planet it is located on). The flare would only last for a few hours so the ability would be somewhat limited but would make running flashpoints, helping friends on other planets or just returning to the fleet for a moment far less stressful.

  5. Dynamic public quests would have been a great addition to the game, it's a great shame that they weren't included and quite bizarre given that Mythic have also been working on the game. The 2 and 4man heroic dailies are usually quite enjoyable provided you can get the group together but public quests are far more casual friendly. I don't disagree that a lot of the locations look static and dull but there are more pressing problems that need attention at the moment. This game desperately needs something good that will set it apart from all other mmos if it wants to succeed in today's mmo market. Some more mini games like Pazaak and a greater space experience would really do wonders.

  8. Hopefully Makeb will have new hubs for endgame players. One with a shared chat channel to the fleet though as to not further segregate the players. Whatever happens though I pray they don't add shared hubs, it's the stupidest thing that ever happened to WoW, two factions that are supposedly at war standing right next to each other.
  9. I love PvP but I won't even entertain the idea of playing a warzone until either ranked warzones are introduced for solo players or there's a system that splits up the pugs from the premades. It is vital, absolutely vital that players are on a level playing field when playing any PvP game. At the moment that isn't happening which will explain why pvp isn't as popular as it should be.

  12. I hate it when people cry nerfs because of PvP. I don't disagree that Assault spec needs some toning down but you have to take with one hand and give with the other. Vanguards are a very fun and capable DPS class at the moment and I'd hate to see that change.
  13. Same and I don't even have a great connection, the only delay I get is the speeder on the fleet and some of the animations that are out of whack. The game is as responsive as any other mmo. Perhaps it's related to the hardware then.

  15. That's Bizarre, I know there's an animation delay on some abilities like bladestorm but all other abilities are firing instantly. Click on a channeled ability like Pulse cannon and it channels instantly, no delay what so ever. Maybe you guys are having some problems with lag.

  18. I wish they would make credits shared legacy wide. It make purchasing things on alts so much simpler.
  19. I reckon over, possibly at the half a mil mark. I'd wager they've lost a butt load of customers since the last announcement, yet there's still many very busy servers.

  21. As the previous poster mentioned it is a medium armour piece so unavailable to Guardians. For future reference though http://tor-fashion.com/ contains pictures of many of the orange armour sets for each armour rating, along with information on how to obtain them.
  22. Last time I checked group finder found groups for people. Was this broke in today's maintenance or something?
  23. I'm not arguing that the game has better PvP, it's a PvP focused game and is designed and balanced around PvP which would explain why they don't care much for PvE endgame. Anyway I played 3 of the beta weekends but didn't manage to log more than a couple of hours for the last one. The story was beyond lame, Group quests are just click this or zerg 100 of that while hoping you don't get instagibbed; exploring is kinda forced since you need to visit every part of the map to level up. Again I'm not trying to argue whether it's a bad game or not(the coming months will decide that) but I can tell it's not for me. FPS offer me a better PvP experience and WoW/SWTOR offer a better PvE experience with actual progression so I'd rather stick with that.
