  1. Could someone explain to me what the point of a DPS Operative is when... Marauders have higher brust, higher sustained, easier resource management, useful defensive and offensive cooldowns, VANISH, gap closer, 2 interrupts... etc. Someone please get on these forums now, and explain to me WHY DPS operatives should even exist in this game. Now. Do it.
  2. Huttball is the most imbalanced **** excuse for PvP I have ever encountered in any MMO I've ever played. I'd be happy to never see it again.
  3. You're neglecting to mention that (Concealment) Operatives have the worst energy resource management in the game of any DPS class in the game; we are ****ed in any drawn out skirmish.
  4. An assassin should never lose to an operative 1v1 with equal gear and skill when specced correctly. Do not question this. Also ***, we have knockback? :confused::confused:

  6. I love that no dev wants to touch Operative DPS with a ten foot pole. Too scare to lose subs.
  7. I would wager that same player is probably more "vicious" using an assassin with equal practice time invested.
  8. So since they are removing biochem adrenals and click trinkets from Warzones and replacing them with just the warzone adrenals, will operatives / sins be able to use them without them breaking stealth?
  9. OP healers will be that much more necessary and overpowered, while OP DPS will remain the worst melee DPS in the game. Bioware doesn't know how to balance this game for ****.
  10. Every class named has useful sustained damage and utility outside of a single burst phase.
  11. Title. Why? Huge burst damage potential nerf. Which class is affected most by drops in burst damage? ding. Been arguing this point all day to idiots saying "NO IT AFFECTS US ALL EQUALLY." Name me another class as impotent as concealment without their initial burst opener? The least useful melee class becomes even less useful.
  12. I have an i7 2.5 ghz, it isn't an extreme edition though so I don't think I can overclock it. 8 gigs of ram. I don't want to turn this specifically into a what computer parts work and what don't; my expierience specifically has been I have been able to overclock my card and run games like BF3 at higher frame rates on ultra, but it does nothing in SWTOR.
  13. Could someone explain to me why overclocking / underclocking my card in other games leads to performance gains / losses but does nothing in this game? Thanks.
  14. Then you lose out on 2 augment slots... 36 power. Not worth it.
  15. but the armoring has expertise... why would I want that for ops? o_o I'll keep the extra cunning though, 5 extra energy does seem a bit useless :/ On a sidenote... anyone else think it's ridiculously stupid that black hole gear is = to Campaign gear (and in a lot of cases itemized even better?)
  16. Any thoughts as to whether the 5 extra energy 4 set bonus from Campaign Armoring is worth the loss of 11 cunning from Advanced Skill Armoring 26? I'm referring specifically to gloves, since that's the only piece that all Campaign armoring has more endurance than cunning. Summary: Would you rather have +11 Cunning or +5 Energy for raids? (For DPS Operative of course)
  17. Title sums it up. No more than 10 people on the fleet (imp. side) anymore since Diablo 3 came out. Most guilds have quit the game. Free month is over soon. Server merges by this Tuesday or this game is dead. R.I.P.
  18. If your healers are letting you stay out why not just stay in melee range? If they/you aren't geared enough to allow for you to stay in melee then you shouldnt be out in the first place doing pitiful ranged dps. Horrible example.
  19. The reason your picture is nonsense is because there is no operation where an Operative has time to run out of a big AOE, take cover and then do his pathetic ranged dps attacks on the boss. In that same time, a mara can run out of this hypothetical AOE and force leap back to do 100% dps while the operative has to run back autoattacking at best.
  20. The Powertech and sorc *should* be beating you if gear is equal in a typical raid fight. They have higher damage potential period; it may be a case of you outgearing or having more skill than them however. Mercenarys however, since the last 2 nerfs have seen a huge DPS drop (heat signatures and whatnot not stacking) so operatives are actually above them. A plus I guess.
  21. ROFLMAO this was the same argument people used when operatives were OP at launch. "It's not the class, it's the evil buff stacking!" Powertechs are horribly overpowered in this game, highest damage by far. Only difference is they don't have the invulnerability cooldown of the Marauder. If this games history is any indication, powertechs are def. gonna get hit by the nerf hammer sooner rather than later.
