Pretty much and his buff ultimate defense states that he was trained by the Zakuul knights and the Scions who in my opinion who may have higher standards of training considering who both organizations were set up by. Considering the cinematic their training seems a lot more hardcore than sith.

My dark side sith inquisitor went the inspiring speech cause I mean we are already oppressed whats the point of making a speech like that? Would rather have people throwing their lives away in high spirits in my service. I am leading a band of rebels against a juggernaut of an empire. It just seems silly making an oppressive speech.

I agree in a sense the empire and republic is no longer the major power in the galaxy its zakuul now. Soooo now my inquisitor wants to take over "that" goverment. The point is our past titles mean jack squat now a good example is trying to get information from a swindler saying "i am sith" would mean nothing to her. I am the "outlander" now. we all have to suck it up, I do agree non force users rejecting the gift is rather eeeeeh from a narrative standpoint.

See I am fine with the corruption well the veins and paleness its the eyes that drive me insane. If they just make the veins spread through out the body and simply changed the eyes from 1-5 then it would be good. I am open for people being able to select the level they wish to show IF they have it unlocked and they must be dark side.

See that's my problem with the non force users "they will go down because of plot" and its pretty clear Valk let himself get killed. Refusing him gets you stabbed like a pleb and as a non force user Arcann is deflecting your shots like child's play. Hence why I said it does not make sense. Talking about believablity here and I have to suspend my belief on how they will take them down without big V's power. In the context of the narrative all the people the PC's fought the kids would smash them aside with ease. V clearly states that the kids are stronger than the force using PC. All the non force user classes the enemies they fought fit within the context of their narrative and Revan was fought with 3-7+ people. The force users on zoist are like children compared to the high ranking force uses of zakuul and the kids. Hell I don't even know how the force users will take them down if you have been refusing the emperor. Saying they will go down because of plot is weak in my opinion and does not help me change my current opinion only strengthen it. V may say awesome **** about our non force using classes but in the overall story? I feel out of place on how I will beat such a foe with my agent even with my main inquisitor I am still thinking how will take down Arcann. Don't even get me started on Vaylin she is something else.

He can its pretty clear if you take his power often he can take your body when he wants to. Its clear even if you are refusing him/disagreeing with him he is keeping you alive for some reason. I don't think he wants you as a vessel man can eat planets and is on force deity level. On a surface level I just think he finds the PC bloody interesting and partly wants his kids taken down a peg. Its pretty clear he has another hidden agenda. If he likes you he states he believes you can defeat Arcann instead of saying we and if you say why not read your thoughts he tells you that both of you are of one purpose but he cannot read your mind. Use your mind well enough and you will succeed. Why I accepted his power? Look at the dam kids better get my body used to using it because bioware better make a good narrative reason for how our PC's are going to take on the kids in the future. Since the story states they are stronger than you several of their feats made my mouth drop.

Problem is when the story throws people like Vaylin and Arcann at you clearly stating that they are stronger in the force than the force using PC. That's what throws a wrench in the whole non-force user story line the forces arrayed against you is just too far out there. While the class stories were more down to earth for what the classes are doing. Hence why its ludicrous rejecting "that guy" offers as a non force user and trying to fight those kids. I was in the non force using camp would fit before release but after? Ehhh not so much anymore those kids are just too OP it would be like boba fett or han solo taking vader/sidious in a duel they would lose. This is just my opinion on the subject yeah the emperor can pander you but the context of the story keeps me scratching my head on how my agent is actually going to deal with the kids without the power of the mcguffin. While I don't have that problem with my force user.

Well in the context of the situation I feel the player character is being silly. If you accepted his offer the first two times I am quite sure you agree with him on many occasions and then suddenly going lol nope when facing his son when he clearly told you he is stronger than you. Which he is when refusing him leads to you getting stabbed and him keeping you alive for some reason why would he keep someone who keeps refusing him alive if he wants them as a vessel? If you keep refusing him why does he stay with you? He could of easily let you die and move on to another host yet he heals you keeps you alive even if he disagree's with your actions. Any sane man who is protecting his/her interests will do the same thing and who in their right mind would believe anything his son says? Honestly picking that option should of lead to death/game over since it was clear as day he was trying to turn you into a wall ornament again. You could simply see it as him protecing the PC from their own stupidness with those two. Now I personally believe he is not trying to turn you into a vessel I am think he is trying to do something more with the PC or to prove a point or something like that. Someone speculated that the emperor has turned the PC into a child of the emperor I mean vaylin does state their dad has a new "favorite" which is the PC. I think polite is correct since whenever you call him a manipulate hack the influence states "he is amused". Which leads me to believe he is being straight with you but he finds it funny that you think he is manipulating you and seeing shadows that are not there. Whenever you state things about looking foward beyond the republic and empire or you are inquisitive and aware of what people are doing around you he approves. While if you act narrow minded or go man the jedi, sith, empire or republic were so awesome bla bla bla he starts disapproving.

I don't know I personally think he is being straight with you I think there is something more this "alliance"

I don't even know how this is a debate that vaylin is stronger than the force using PC, she is stronger the story goes out of its way to state that even the emperor's son is stronger than you stated by the emperor himself. if you reject him when he offers to help you in your fight against his son? You get stabbed like a pleb and its clear as day that Vaylin is stronger than Arcann since he tried not to in cure her wrath when he back peddled on how the outlander escaped. Hell let's not forget that what we see is not even all of her power since the emperor locked a part of her mind away. Hell when I talked to senya about Vaylin that she moved furniture in the womb I was like. Plus crippled a man as a small child for dropping his ball. I highly doubt any of the force using PC's did stuff like that at a young age or in the womb. Plus she tore off the blast doors and ripped apart the sun machine like a normal person tearing paper off the wall while our force users have to gather up the power to do such thing. The expansion flat out states that the kids are stronger than you hence why the emperor is like dude! take the power since you are going to get wrecked. If you don't you get owned let's also remember that this empire force using doctrine was made by an emperor who can eat planets. I highly suspect they have better training than the sith and jedi. In the context of the narrative that's why you have the choice of accepting the emperors power or not since currently the forces arrayed against you are far stronger. Our force using PC's are strong but there is always someone stronger out there. The current situation we have to deal with is how are we going to beat them, since using emperor's power messes up our body(plus the bastard blocks most of the OP lightning) and for those who refuse the emperor you are still weaker than them. Your character is not a mary sue anymore.

gah, I hate this but shameful bump. One thing I want to talk about if the developers do this what kind of eyes you want? I personally feel that Vaylin's and Lana's are good examples to use.
