  1. Honestly that is an amazing way of seeing it and it would not surprise me if lana did such a thing. Honestly I did not encounter this situation with Koth considering he stuck with my DS sith inquisitor. (Most likely because I shut down the sun machine since my inquisitor was already making plans to take over zakuul can't rule without people!) Still think about it 5 years and you might of been dead things could happen and the fact that she went right back to you and dropped koth like a brick if he betrayed you, shows where her true feelings were. Also my DS sith did not romance anyone save lana and who would want to romance you know who, who can't decide if she is a sith or not and I am glad I did since it seems like she won't be coming back.
  2. Thanks for the responses people we have to let bioware know what we want.
  3. I knew he was going to survive it's why my DS sith(Don't really consider him a sith anymore ) did not bother to kill him but let him know he is superior and why he did not shoot the ship. Going by the force chapter the force has a plan and it was plain as day that it wanted him alive since he took those lessons on board. The force is not an ally or can be dominated hence why Kriea wanted to kill it. As Valkorion said you can't control destiny but you can move the currents since it looks like Arcann could be a possible ally against the crazy girl in the future. I let senya take him I knew she did not have it in her to kill vaylin I factored that into my plan. Plus the shields are made for force users to use the Zakuul knights. Well bioware wants Arcann alive I quite enjoyed the ending anyway and the fight.
  4. Well gotta keep the thread going somehow and bumping threads is not exactly good forum manners so to speak. I don't like doing it since I normally avoid trying to bump threads I make on forums in general. I just feel strongly about this issue.
  5. Yeah there is a lawful position in the empire to murder light side sith a position which is granted by the dark council hunting light side sith is a thing in the empire. According to what happens to Jaesa.
  6. Well actually bioware said the chapter 1-3 stories were a few years. If I recall correctly.
  7. I am asking for a dark side corruption update and to make it accurate to canon not for them to add it to the CM.
  8. True I consider the suggestion section the hell pit where threads are forgotten I am at least thankful this thread did not share such a fate so there is hope. Even if they don't respond I hope they looked at the thread at least.
  9. again shameful bump. Is there any hope of getting an answer from a community rep?
  10. It is still murder in the Zakuul's knight regard. Plus she is willing to let thousands of people die when she is in the position to help. With the zakuul knight she has beaten him and took control of the situation and choking him at the same time and she wishes to kill him. With out the direct intervention of the PC she will plant the lightsaber into his chest. Remember that zakuul are in control of the galaxy and they are the law. The zakuul knights are essentially policemen and to the civilians she is essentially a terrorist. By law of the current galaxy its murder and after meeting his partner and senya they just seem like people trying to do their jobs. Yes the imperial committed crimes but she allowed her anger of what he did to guide her decisions in demanding his death. There is a due process going by imperial or "sith" intelligence standards. I am sure if it was keeper he would of most likely taken him in for questioning and finding out what he knows of the republic and how he did it. Still I am surprised to this day taking him prisoner was not an option bioware and their limited options. Still I can see how you make the argument that for the agent. Its not murder since she has the authority to execute him, her being in charge and also being sith. Its still a homocide one she did not even bat an eyelid at doing and had no reservations in doing. For sith if killing someone serves their aim or fuels their rage they will do it and woe to you if you betray them and the sith teach you to show no mercy to those who stand against you. Honestly in my opinion with the Zakuul knight it felt like she was trying to prove a point more than anything, that they are "weak" and don't know how to use their rage and the whole no mercy bit as well. Still she is not exactly a "nice" lady she is still, well evil like all sith.
  11. Er by definition its still murder there are always better options than killing someone and lana often does not take them you can dress up and justify it all you like its murder. God I am talking like a jedi now >_<
  12. Don't get this lana light side talk and if you look closer lana actually has white veins around her cheeks along with the sith eyes in the expansion. Lana is still an evil sith lord she casually commits homocide, allows thousands of people to die for the sake of her objective and is willing to manipulate "allies" if it benefits the sith and the empire. Yeah.... she is far from the light in my opinion faar from it she is just a sith with a head on her shoulders and that's how most sith rise to power actually having some form of sense. She still believes in using hatred and having no mercy for your enemies. Marr? is still an evil sith he is just more of a warlord than a politician and actually has some form of sense hence why he is dark council member. He is still an evil sith lord example heeey lets crash my ship into another ship to murder as many of the enemy as possible oh the soldiers on the ship? Doesn't matter they are soldiers they will die don't care if they don't have time to evacuate. Plus on Balmorra how do you guess he will turn the captured jedi to the dark side? Remember the imperial guard during SOR? They are going to have a rough time. I will say it again the outlander is leading because they were always in the limelight in the past leading and solving all the galactic issues for their faction and the larger galaxy. The alliance won't follow anyone else.
  13. Well yes hence why both lana and Marr are still evil Lana casually commits homicide and manipulates "allies" if it will benefit the sith and the empire and marr approves when you crash his ship into another ship. As long as it destroys the enemy does not matter who else is on it and who dies. Plus he spends his time converting jedi to the dark side according to Lachris People like these characters because well they are sith with an actual head on their shoulders instead of the many sith we encounter that only care for murder and mayhem. They actually have vision and character hence why they are my favorites along with Traya.
  14. Honestly the sith inquisitor says it best almost every sith interprets the code differently. The crux of being sith is obtaining freedom with the dark side. Now remember we are dealing with a religion and with all religions people can interpret the word differently. Same with the jedi we see and example of this on Zoist with the jedi team theron bought with him. The question is how would the sith go about it? Hence why you have all these orders and rules for the sith in the setting. For example people like to crap on the one sith calling them not "true" sith. Even bane hated him but who is he to judge what is a true sith? When the man who made the rule of one was trained by one of the original founders of the religion? I can easily say the rule of two failed the minute sidious killed his master in his sleep instead of over coming him with is own power. So I easily say that he is not true sith or a bad sith for not facing his master directly and proving that he is stronger and proving he has the right to be the master. You can say he betrayed his own interpretation of the religion he follows. Yet another sith can turn this argument around and say the code just talks about breaking your chains and achieving freedom with the dark side. Does it matter how you do it? Bane may disagree since I recall he intended for the apprentice to take the master own directly. To prove that they are stronger and they can break theirs chains with their own power. An npc in swtor says it best prove you are sith and all the accusations in the world will no longer matter to you. Now how would you do this? To gain power in the dark side it demands cruelty and with every small cruelty greater ones are born. You will have to overcome rivals who believe you will get in the way of what they want so you will have to overcome them since most likely that will be another chain upon you. Its and endless cycle and I imagine the dark side of the force just laughs and enjoys the show. I the end all religions can be interpreted differently. Now I believe all incarnations of the sith are TRUE sith in my opinion. Since they all use the dark side to achieve the freedom/goal they desire. Some want to just be warlords and rule all, some desire immortality, Heck some just want to enjoy every aspect of their emotions freely like Jaesa. Some wish to become all powerful so they can do what they want kill who they want and live how they want. How you break those chains and achieve that freedom with the dark side is up to you. Now of course many sith fail because they either lack the power or guile to achieve their "freedom". Since obtaining freedom to do what you want with something as corruptive as the dark side is quite well..... difficult to say the least. Hence why majority of sith are either warlords, cunning backstabbing politcians or psychopaths. Since anything holding you back from your potential or what you want to do is considered a "chain" by the sith. Morality? A chain? A lover? Another chain your master who trains you? A chain. Anything that gets in your way to do what you want is a chain to be removed via the dark side. Now how does the dark side like to remove things? Hence why sith are well.... evil since the philosophy meshes with the things the dark side enjoys and it gives you more power for doing them so you can break dem chains! Oh and my favorite sith is Darth Traya she is awesome I love her interpretation of sith and how you are supposed to act.
  15. Indeed she is rather "grey" or the darker shade of it as I said the problem is she still thinks she is a jedi and she believes she hasn't fallen. As I said in my last post I hope its something we can sort out in the next expansion. To either put her on the correct path or complete the process of her falling to the dark side completely when you reach the end of her conversations she is almost there. Oh and its nice of bioware to tie companion conversations to story points not approval I feel it flows a lot better.
  16. Yeah that's too expensive we are ALL the outlander now we have to live with it. Plus story wise the zakuul people who currently control the galaxy don't give a toss about our old titles. Example SW: I am the empire's wrath! Zakuul Npc: Who? Never heard of you.
  17. Only played the jedi knight once but I feel the point I am trying to make still stands.
  18. The thing is he is the most dogmatic sith in the game all about war and victory and not the petty political conflicts. Think Darth Malgus except the whole betrayal bit and he does not go around murdering other sith for no reason. Now because he was such a hardcore old school sith is the reason why he was killed by big E. I like to imagine that Marka Ragnos was like marr and Darth Malgus hence why he died of old age instead of being back stabbed like most sith. Even if my inquisitor respected him greatly he still enjoyed killing him in his dream. *sorry marr*
  19. Its simple the reason why you are the leader is because you are the one constantly saving the galaxy and on the front lines. They will not follow anyone else. Lana light side? Not gonna happen she is a sith and empire patriot and is still all about hate to quote the jedi knight to the imperial mole on zoist "Lana may seem like a nice sith lord but if she finds out she will eviscerate you." which she asks you to do on the empire side. She is just a realist that everyone has to work together to defeat zakuul and my sith inqusitor agrees.
  20. This is what I mean I think we should just play the game and enjoy the story. Plus the default is bad you get none of your shiny titles from the story and it does not matter what they call us at the start we are ALL the outlander now. Plus a path can't make more sense just because of your romance lol just because you are the opposite or same alignment of your romance that's flimsy argument in my opinion. If you are female you start with the pirate soooo that means dark side seems to make more sense if we follow your train of thought. On the game overview page it clearly says these key words for the SI Sinister, Deceptive, Prodigy of Force Power these two things the LS inquisitor barely does especially the sinister. Plus the story trailer of the SI was a female acting well.... like a normal sith. Plus a good jedi would not enter in the romance in the first place since it requires you to take a dark side hit so this means dark side makes more sense because they have no problem embracing the dark side. Since they are all about that passion. See the problem now? There is no "intended" or canon this is even the words of the lead writers. Hence why when they did their story summaries on the website for the expansion/boosted 60 they left it vague which alignment the character was. Just play the game and have fun. Even if I prefer DS my problems with the LS run is the narrative of it that's it. Same with the DS Jedi Councilor.
  21. Er I don't think that argument works problem since on the republic side following your train of thought you can then easily say that the jedi knight is meant to be dark side since your first two companions are LS. Same with the smuggler so I don't think that argument holds. Hell another example the jedi councilor your first companion is pretty much the opposite of Khem val so they are meant to be dark side as well? Plus for agent keeper calls you too soft the job if you are LS sooo yeah. I personally believe there is no canon and trying to do one just causes problems just play the game how you want. If lore had its way a DS jedi or LS sith would not even be able to use majority of their abilities. Something that still gets me to this day. No matter if I or anyone dislike LS sith and prefer DS or vicec versa there is no "intended" path until lucasarts comes along and say hey bioware you gotta lock down your alignments for legends or whatever if the game ends. For the boosted 60 bioware simply assumes republic is LS and empire DS for past decisions for since its more easy that way and its what's "expected" by a new player to the game that's it.
  22. I would LOVE if they update all the textures but I am just being realistic thinking they are not going to do it so I am aiming for something that can easily be done like the eyes. Now this is something that should be looked that for those who pick a red skin tone perhaps give the option is setting a corruption level to display. For example if you are dark V you can choose a corruption level between 1-5 to display.
